C. 17.

"Remember," Jin started, his eyes trained on you. "I'll be back in two hours. Not a second later."

You nodded your head frantically, your eyes darting around the area in which you were currently standing.

Two weeks.

You had been living with Kim Seokjin for two full weeks.

At first, you were completely uneasy about the entire situation, and that hadn't exactly changed...but over the past few weeks he had slowly begun to give you more and more freedom around the house and the grounds...he let you venture outside by yourself and wonder anywhere you liked...

But, of course, Jin took precautions, after all, he knew that you would high tail it away from him the second you got the chance to. And he wasn't wrong.

The instant you saw an escape, you were going to go for it.

After the first night with him, he had not made anymore threats or warnings. He always made sure you were provided for, he'd pick you out an outfit every day and tell the servants to take good care of you while he was away for work..which was quite often.

But, you certainly didn't mind him being away. You liked it when he wasn't around being all creepy and stuff...well "creepy" is a bit harsh...

Yes. Kim Seokjin was a terrible person. He was selfish, self-involved and all around a bad guy, but you couldn't help but feel slightly grateful for him.

Although he kidnapped you, he always took time out of his day to start a conversation with you and listen to your adventures around the house or he'd listen about the books you read. He had never once tried to force himself on you, although he had certainly tried to convince you a few times...he never pressured you.

It was odd...but you didn't hate him as much as you had the first day, although you were still itching to get away from him as quickly as possible.

It doesn't matter how nice or charming Seokjin is...You can never be happy if you aren't free.

Yesterday, when Jin came home, he informed you that he was hosting a gala for all his friends and family and "everybody who's anybody" will be there...so you were to look presentable.

You assumed that he would drag a seamstress into the house to take your measurements, but to your surprise, he said he was going to go out of town for the dress he had in mind...

You begged him to take you on the trip, but he said no...so the two of you came up with a compromise.

He would drop you off at the mall on his way to...well, wherever he was going...and you could stay and shop while he took care of business...then he would pick you up on his way back.

You remembered squealing in happiness at the thought of finally being free, but Jin was smarter than that and made certain "arrangements" for your trip out of the house.

First: He had stationed men on every single entrance and exit of the building.

Second: He gave you a walkie talkie and instructed you to call and check in every fifteen minutes, if you failed to do so, he would turn around and pick you up instantly.

Third: He tapped into every phone inside the mall, so if you tried to call for help, he would know.

Fourth: He placed a specially designed bracelet on your wrist, which would alert him if you somehow managed to leave the building.

You were actually impressed with his planning skills...he was definitely making it harder for you..but you were just glad to finally be around other people.

"I know. I know." You waved him off, eyes fixating on the tall building before you. "Can I go now?"

Seokjin chuckled at your eagerness, his brow raising as he fastened the bracelet around your wrist.

"I'm trusting you, princess." He stated softly, hand grabbing yours. "If today goes well, then maybe we can talk about you going out on a day to day basis and one day...you may even get to leave by yourself."

Your ears perked up at that, a smile forming on your face.

"No guards?" You asked.

He smiled, shaking his head.

"No guards." He confirmed. "But that's only if you follow the rules."

You nodded your head, biting your lip as you stared at the black band around your arm.

"O-Okay."

The purple-haired man hummed, placing his lips to your forehead in a quick kiss.

"You have my card, so feel free to buy whatever you want." He said. "I'll make sure dinner is prepared when we arrive home, I know how you get when you're hungry."

You nodded again.

"Alright."

Seokjin gave your hand a gentle squeeze.

"Have fun, princess."

He sent you a wink before climbing back into the sleek, black car, closing the door and giving you a wave as the car slowly pulled away.

You watched it until the vehicle was out of sight.

You let out a sigh, turning to face the large building before you.

How were you going to get out of this one?

"Do you have your eyes on her?"

Hoseok let out a heavy sigh of annoyance before removing his eyes from the computer screen, brow ticking in frustration.

"I've already told you," He began. "She's in the mall now. Safe and sound."

Yoongi frowned, biting his lip as he paced the carpeted floor of Hoseok's office.

You see, after Seokjin had taken you, Yoongi had tried to find you, he had dug up every low-life crook that had ever been in league with Jin, he even went as far as to contact Jin's brother, who had absolutely no idea where he was located.

After about a week and a half of tirelessly searching, he finally realized that he wasn't going to get anywhere by himself.

People knew who he was. He wasn't part of the "upper class" of crime. Just an assassin. He didn't belong near the mob royalty.

Although he was part of The Seven most deadly men, no one would give him information on Kim Seokjin...it was a bloody week and a half.

So, Yoongi reached out to Hoseok. The two had known each other for a few years and if anyone knew about the upper class it was Hoseok. Countless amounts of information went in and out of his club, which meant that Jung Hoseok was practically the blackmail kingpin and if anyone in his club knew anything about Seokjin's whereabouts, he would know.

Yesterday, one of his clients talked and told him about Jin's little "field trip"..Hoseok hacked into the malls security cameras to make sure it was clear.

"I don't understand." Yoongi confessed. "After two weeks of silence, he just drops her off at the mall?"

Hoseok shook his head, his brows furrowing as he ran a hand through his red hair.

"I'm afraid there's a little more to it." He stated, pointing to the monitor before him. "See that little trinket on her arm?"

Yoongi squinted his eyes as he looked at your form on the screen.

"Yeah?"

"Well," Hoseok sighed. "That's what is called a "house arrest" bracelet. It means that she is confined to a certain part of the property."

Yoongi frowned.

"So if she leaves the building.."

"Seokjin will come running back."

A curse left Yoongi's lips, his fist smacking the wood of Hoseok's desk.

"What if we get it off of her?"

Hoseok shrugged.

"He's placed armed men around every entrance and exit..the chances of you even getting in the mall are slim to none."

The blue-haired man nodded in understanding, his jaw clenching, his eyes never leaving your form on the screen as you toyed with the bracelet.

"I know I could get that thing off of her." He stated. "But I'd need someone to go inside..."

His gaze slowly moved to the red-head.

Hoseok's eyes widened instantly, his head shaking.

"Oh no." He started, " I am not getting myself involved anymore. I've already done my part for you."

"Think about it!" Yoongi argued. "It would be perfect. You could slip in easy. I could contact you and tell you how to get the bracelet off of her. All of the entrances are on different sides of the building, so I could wait outside and snipe off all the guards, making it easy for you to escape."

The young business man frowned.

"You're asking me to start a war with the richest mob boss in the city." He deadpanned. "If he found out that I helped her escape-"

"That's the beauty of it!" Yoongi exclaimed. "We have complete control over the security cameras, right? So he would have no idea that you were there..You could even wear a mask if it makes you feel better."

Hoseok sighed.

"I don't know..." He dragged.

"Come on," Yoongi pleaded. "You saw her. You saw how miserable she looked...I have to get her away from him..I have to keep her safe..."

The red head eyed the man for a few moments before letting out a groan of frustration.

"Fine." He relented. "I'll help."

Yoongi smiled.

"Thank-"

"But you still have to keep your end of the deal, Min." He interrupted.

The young assassin nodded slowly.

"I will." He said. "When we save her, I promise that you can talk with her all you want."

"And have a meal with her." Hoseok corrected.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow in annoyance before sighing.

"Fine." He gritted.

Hoseok smiled.

"Great." He popped.

"Now, we've got a job to do."

A/N,

I am so sleepy, it's not even funny.

Whew.

I love you all.
