2 Month's Later - Tatsuyu's POV

I sit on the stump in Training Ground 9, waiting for Guy-Sensei, Lee and Neji. TenTen is next to me.

Neji gets here, then Lee and Guy-Sensei.

"Alright you four, I have nominated you guys, for, the Chunin Exams! Of course its only teams of 3 and below, so, one of you will have to be a solo." Guy-Sensei says and I raise my hand and everyone looks at me shocked.

"I'll be the one woman team, I'm smarter and stronger than the rest of us so I'll be able to protect myself in every way." I say and Guy-Sensei nods.

"Sounds like a plan!" Guy-Sensei says as he hands us our slips.

"Tatsu, you sure you want to be the one who's gonna be alone for this?" TenTen asks.

"Yep, I'm sure." I say as we walk and I head to the Sandwich shop while TenTen heads somewhere else with Neji and Lee.

I stare at the slip as I eat my sandwiches. I put the slip in my pouch and once I finish eating, I head to the academy and I walk up to the second floor to see a crowd and I sigh and push past everyone and they all look at me.

"Who are you girly?" One of the Chunin asks me.

I cross my arms over my chest as I look up at the sigh and then back at the guards. "Tatsuyu Senju, now move, I want onto the third floor." I say and I walk up to the third floor after pushing the guards aside and I wait inside the classroom with a lot of people glaring at me they glare as I sit down at a table with a smirk and I wait a couple minutes and I group surrounds me. "Need something?" I ask calmly.

"You looked lonely, didn't you know its teams of three?" A guy with black hair and a stone head band asks me.

"I don't need your company." I say as I look forward calmly and the girl of the team growls annoyed.

"Don't talk about Shi-kun like that." She says and I duck and she flies over me.

I watch as Kakashi's team walks in and they go being loud and I sigh as a white haired guy with glasses walks over my hand twitches slightly as I see information cards. I listen as Uchiha names three people, my name among them and once Kabuto gets to my card, its turns soggy and unusable and a slight smirk dances on my lips.

"What?" Kabuto asks shocked scowls at me as I look away.

"What are you looking it albino? I didn't do anything." I say with a small shrug and then he gets attacked by some Sound Ninja and then low and behold, a scare faced guy along with a bunch of Chunin appear around the room. I watch them with a calm gaze, counting each one.

100, 100 Chunin.

I listen to the rules and what struck me the most was the cheating rules. I put my chin on the backs of my hands as I think.

Cheating, well, I'll have to look at the test first to see if I have to cheat or not.

Ibiki glances at me and smirks as I get handed my paper. "And now start." He says and I flip the paper over.

I start reading over the question and I pick my pencil up and I twirl it on my hand as I read over it, I get to work as I put my chin on my hand and I frown as I work. Once I finish I turn my page over and I set my pencil down and I look around and I count the Chunin again.

101, that's one more Chunin than before, he wasn't even there before, when did he get there?

I frown and then Cat Boy from the Sand, raises his hand and asks to go to the bathroom and leaves with the same Chunin that wasn't there before and my eyes widen slightly.

Puppet, he's a Puppet Master.

After a little while, Ibiki announces the Tenth Question and I raise an eyebrow at more rules and I put my arms on my part of the desk and I put my head in my arms as I wait for this to be over.

The Naruto kid starts to raise his hand but slams his hand down on the table. "I don't quit and I don't give up, I don't care if I'm a Genin forever, I'll be Hokage one day!" He announces and Ibiki smirks as he see's no one else raising their hands.

"Is that everyone? Well, you guys pass." Ibiki says to us and then goes on to explain the point of the test.

Then a woman in her mid-twenties crashes through the window. "My name is Anko Mitarashi, I am the Second Procter of the Second Part of the Exam!" She announces with a grin.

"Anko, your early, again." Ibiki says as he pushes the banner back as he walks through.

She laughs nervously then counts us. "Ibiki, you let this many pass? You must be going soft." Anko says to him.

"No, its just a stronger crop of students this year." Ibiki says to her.

"Well, no worries, this next test should cut them in half, or more." Anko says with a grin and I sigh, already not amused by her.

Sadists, great.

"Well, your Jonin Squad Leaders will tell you where to meet up tomorrow morning." Anko says and she leaves.

I walk out of the classroom with everyone else and once I get outside the academy, I step to the right and Lee runs past, dragging Neji and TenTen with him.

"TATSU! HELP ME!" TenTen yells as she gets farther and farther away.

I just wave and I head to Ichiraku's and I notice Naruto following me and I raise an eyebrow as I sit down.

"Ahh, Tatsuyu, your usual Miso?" Ayame asks me with a smile.

"Yes please." I say to her with a smile and Naruto sits two seats away from me. "Hello Naruto." I say to him and he looks at me shocked.

"How do you know my name?" Naruto asks.

"Iruka-Sensei, I could hear him down the hall all the time while I was in class. That and Teuchi has said your name before while I was in here." I say and he oh's and Ayame places my bowl in front of me. "Thanks for the food." I say and I start eating.

"TATSU!" Lee yells as he runs past the shop, looking for me and I push my hair over my shoulder as I eat.

"Tatsu?" Naruto asks.

"The nickname TenTen and Lee gave me." I say with a shrug and he nods.

I finish eating and I pay and leave.

I head to my apartment and I shower and change.

"Tatsu, where have you been?" TenTen asks as she walks into the apartment.

"Showering." I say with a small shrug and she rolls her eyes as I brush out my hair.

"So, how did you do on the test?" TenTen asks me.

I shrug. "It was just a test, it was fairly easy, the codes in the questions weren't hard to decipher and the math questions weren't the hardest I've done and the paragraphs questions were easy." I say with a shrug and I finish brushing out my hair and it looks like flat hair in strands. "Alright, I'm going for a walk." I say as I grab my jacket.

"Alright, but take a kunai." TenTen says and I put a kunai in my pocket.

"Yeah, yeah Mom, I'll be back later." I say and she laughs as I put my ninja sandals on. I walk out of the apartment in black leggings, dark blue T-Shirt and my grey jacket. I walk out of the building and I walk around for a bit until I feel someone following me in the shadows. "Come out, I know your there red head." I say and the red head from the Sand comes out and I look at him.

"How did you know I was there?" He asks in a monotone voice.

"Your blood lust for starters, your tailed beast for another, oh and I'm a sensory ninja." I say to him and he scowls at me as I stand there in a calm position.

"You were able to ace the first test easily, your only a one man team, so you wouldn't have been able to pass on answers or get answers, not to mention, I noticed that one guys card on you turned soggy and unusable, I can feel your strength, Mother gets hungry every time I'm around you." He says as he growls slightly and holds his head.

I blink. "I'm just a Genin, no big deal, now, please leave me alone." I say to him in a calm tone with a calm look.

"I saw you from my seat behind you, every answer, you answered them with ease. You weren't even affected by the questions." Cat boy says as he walks up behind red head.

"Puppet master." I say to him and he stares at me shocked. "Before the test started, I counted the Sentries, 100 of them, when I finished my test, in the five minute time between me finishing and you getting up to use the bathroom, I counted 101 Sentries, there was one Chunin I didn't notice being there before, that same Chunin went with you to the bathroom, I don't believe in coincidences and the puppet on your back was gone, it wasn't next to you like your blonde haired teammates Fan was next to her, your also from the Hidden Sand Village, your most likely to have Wind Release and Puppet Master Jutsu's need Wind Release Chakra." I say to him and Cat Boy gapes at me while I see mild shock on red head.

"Your smart." The blonde haired teammate says as she walks out.

"Uh huh, well, I'll be going now, I only came out of my apartment to go for a walk before tomorrows test, which, I know I'll pass." I say and I can tell they're gonna try and target me and I walk back to my apartment and I lock the door and TenTen walks out of the bathroom with wet hair.

"Your back." She says and I nod and flop on the couch, face first into a pillow.

"I don't want to move from this spot." I mumble into the pillow and TenTen laughs and I fall asleep on the couch.

The Next Day

I watch Naruto mock Anko and I notice the red head scowling at me. I watch Naruto get a cut across his cheek and I get my paper after that, fiasco.

I sign my paper and I grab my scroll, I look at it.

Heaven, got it.

I put the scroll in my pouch and I head to my gate.

"TATSU!" TenTen yells as she runs over. "Good luck." She says to me and I smile amused.

"You should know by now, I don't need luck, I can handle myself, I should be saying good luck to you, Neji and Lee." I say and she smiles.

"Well, thanks, I'll be catching up with Neji and Lee then." TenTen says and runs off.

After a while the gate opens and I pull out my katana and I take off.

About and hour of running, I stop to take a drink of water and I dodge some sand, by side stepping it and I walk over to the river.

"Your fighting the wrong person if you wield sand." I say the red head from before comes out with kitty and blondie behind him. "I'm not in the mood to fight right now. Besides, you three don't want to mess with the only born Water Style User in the Leaf Village." I say to them in a calm tone as I walk across the water, dodging sand with ease and once it hits me, I use the substitution jutsu and I jump in the tree's until I see a lazy boy, a chubby boy and a blonde girl, try sucking up to Neji and I jump down and Neji looks at me as I smile amused.

"Tatsuyu." Neji says with a nod.

"Your intimidating the poor rookies Neji, think you could ease up on your seriousness cold vibe, they can't do anything to you." I say to him and he sighs.

"Your defending them?" Neji asks and I shrug.

"I'm just helping them escape your so called destiny crap that you spew on the daily about how everyone loses to you, I'm saving them from a harsh beating that your gonna give them." I say to Neji and he rolls his eyes.

"If you've forgotten, I could fight you right here and now because we're on separate teams for the exams." Neji says to me and I put my hand in my pouch.

"You actually thought I didn't come prepared incase you decided to attack me?" I ask him and he stiffens slightly. "Outside of the exams, we're teammates, but I know, that any chance you get, your gonna try and take me out to eliminate the competition, me, being the one person you probably wont be able to beat? Our last fight was just an examination, if we fought for real, I would use that against you." I say to him and Neji tch's and walks away.

"Wow." The blondie says shocked.

"Thanks." The lazy boy says as he scratches the back of his head nervously. "Are you gonna try and attack us?" He asks.

"Nah, you'd be down in a matter of minutes if I did, I'm gonna give you guys a fair chance in the forest." I say and I notice the blondie's hair tie is gone and I pull out a purple ribbon and I tie her hair back up.

"Wow, that's really good." She says shocked and I smile.

"Alright, I'm gonna go now, just, don't run into Neji again, or TenTen, or Lee, find someone who's in your range of strength, Uchiha, Pinky and Naruto are probably not good fits, maybe dog boy and his team might be, or find a group of Mist Ninja, they aren't the strongest, and stay away from the Grass, Sand and Sound Ninja, they give me some bad vibes." I call over my shoulder as I walk.

"Why are you helping us with this?" Chubby asks.

"Your rookies, what else am I supposed to do? I can't attack rookies, it'd make me look bad." I say to them.

I head into the forest again and the stone ninja group from yesterday surround me and I keep a passive face on.

"Alright, hand over your scroll." The girl says to me with a smirk.

"No." I say as I cross my arms over my chest and I end up fighting them in Tai-Jutsu and I knock them out, grabbing their earth scroll and I head to the tower, making it by sunset. I open the scrolls and a Chunin appears and clears me as safe. "Thanks." I say and he nods and leaves with a poof.
