The Next Day - Tatsuyu's POV

I stand under a tree, sheltered from the rain.

"It just has to be raining." I say and Sasuke raises an eyebrow.

A big raindrop hits my head and a few more follow in pursuit.

I seal my coat in a scroll and I brush through my hair with my fingers and I braid it. "A coat with fur lining on it, while its raining isn't a good thing." I say and I walk out of the cover of the tree and Sasuke holds part of his cloak over my head and I wave him off. "I have my own cloak." I say as I unseal a black cloak that is like the Akatsuki's, but has no red lining or clouds.

"Really?" Sasuke asks me and I shrug slightly.

"Its just a black cloak." I say and we continue walking.

Flash Back

I sigh in annoyance as it starts raining and I hide under a tree as it down pours. I cross my arms over my chest as I wait for it to let up, but it doesn't, not anytime soon. I growl in annoyance and I dash to the Dango shop, getting soaked.

"Tatsuyu." Itachi says once I get there, soaked and I scowl up at the rain.

"I'm here." I say to him and he sweat drops.

"You ran through the rain?" Itachi asks me and I nod. "You little idiot." Itachi says to me and I snort in annoyance.

"Sorry that the storm got in my way, I can't control it." I say to him sarcastically and he just raises an amused eyebrow.

"Ok, I get it." Itachi says to me and I raise a sarcastic eyebrow as I cross my arms over my chest.

"Do you really?" I ask him and he chuckles nervously and I sigh as I look at him. "So, why did you want to meet here?" I ask him.

"Well, I was gonna ask you if you wanted to go on a walk, but it started raining and your soaking wet." Itachi says to me.

I raise an eyebrow and I push him outside the Dango shop and he gets soaking wet and I get wetter than I was. "There, problem solved, we're both wet, we can walk in the rain." I say to Itachi whose mouth gapes open.

"We're gonna get sick like this." Itachi says to me.

I raise an eyebrow. "Then we go home." I say to him and he deadpans.

"Your a pessimistic person, you know that?" Itachi asks me.

"Yeah, and?" I ask as I start pushing him. "Now Mr. Pretty Boy who doesn't want to get sick, time for you to go home." I say and he turns out of my pushing and I almost fall, but I catch myself.

"Yeah, I don't want to get sick because I have a mission tomorrow." Itachi says to me.

"Your insane right now." I say as I stand up straight. "Just come on, I'll walk you back to your place." I say to him and he raises an eyebrow.

"Aren't I supposed to do that?" Itachi asks me.

"I have no idea what your talking about." I say to him and he chuckles amused.

"Fine." Itachi says to me and I nod.

"Good." I say and he takes my hand and I blush slightly but we walk to his house where his mother is outside under an umbrella waiting and I put my hands behind my back as we walk up to her.

"There you are Itachi, and, Tatsuyu? What are you doing here?" Mikoto asks me.

I raise an eyebrow. "I was training with Itachi when the storm hit." I say lying fluently.

"Do you want a dry change of clothes?" Mikoto asks worried and I giver a kind closed eyed smile.

"No, I'm gonna head home and take a warm shower." I say and she gives me a worried look.

"No, you come inside, you too Itachi, both of you are going to take warm showers and get changed into dry clothes, Tatsuyu your going to wait the storm out here." Mikoto orders us and I sweat drop.

"No, I have to get home, my roommate will want to know where I went and it'll be kind of hard to explain why I was out"

"Nonsense." Mikoto says to me and Itachi sighs.

"Just give up Tatsuyu, once Mother has made up her mind, you can't get out of it." Itachi says to me.

I sigh in defeat and follow her inside and she smiles at me.

"You two stay here while I get you some towels." Mikoto says to us and we nod.

"Yes Mother." Itachi says to her and she nods and leaves and Itachi smiles at me. "At least you stayed." Itachi says and kisses me and I smile slightly as he parts. "And your smiling." Itachi says to me and smiles and Mikoto gets back.

"Alright, Tatsuyu, follow me, Itachi, go to your room and shower there." Mikoto says to him and Itachi nods.

I sweat drop as I follow her and we get to the spare room and she pushes me into the bathroom with a smile.

"Take a nice warm shower, I'll leave clothes by the door." Mikoto says to me and I nod and I close the door and I strip myself of my wet clothes and I take a warm shower and then I wrap myself with a towel. I open the door to see Itachi laying on the bed and I quietly grab the clothes and I close the door again.

"You know I heard you right?" Itachi asks through the door and I freeze.

"I have no idea what your talking about." I say to him and I put on a pair of black leggings and a dark blue long sleeve. I walk out and Itachi gets up. "Well?" I ask him and he smirks.

"Hn." Itachi says to me and I hit him on the head.

"Hn isn't a word Weasel!" I yell at him.

"You two seem to be having fun." Mikoto says opening the door and she looks at us as Itachi holds the part of his head where I whacked him.

"Yeah, fun, sure." I say and Mikoto smiles and takes me to the living room where Fugaku is at reading.

"Let me brush through your hair." Mikoto says to me with a smile and Fugaku glances up and scowls at me for a second before looking back at his paper.

"Uh, sure." I say, very unsure of my decision and she sits me on the floor and sits behind me and she starts brushing through my hair.

"You know, I've wanted a girl, but I had enough children after two, but I've always wanted to do this." Mikoto says to me with stars in her eyes and she starts brushing through my hair while I just have conflicted feelings about this.

"I have no idea how to feel about this." I say and Mikoto giggles while Fugaku rolls his eyes.

"Hasn't you mother done this before?" Mikoto says to me and I stare ahead.

"Mother, she lost her parents in the Nine Tails attack." Itachi says to her.

"Oh, no." Mikoto says worried. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." Mikoto says to me and I smile.

"Its fine, I'm used to people assuming I have parents, like those idiotic teachers in the academy." I say and my eye twitches at the thought of them.

"Still." Mikoto says to me.

"No, seriously, I said I was fine, after the past 9 years of people assuming I had parents, I've pretty much gotten over it, its not offensive at all anymore." I say to her with a smile and Itachi looks at me and Fugaku just glances up.

"Aww." Mikoto says hugging me and I tense, not used to contact, but I relax for the most part and Sasuke walks in the house and Mikoto goes to help him as I finish brushing through my hair.

When Sasuke walks in he scowls at me while I just raise an eyebrow at him.

"Why are you here?" Sasuke asks me.

"Ask your mother." I say to him.

"Mom, why is she here?" Sasuke asks her and Itachi chuckles amused.

"Because it was raining and she was soaked to the bone after training with Itachi." Mikoto says to him with a smile.

"She could have just gone home." Sasuke says to her and I take a sharp intake of breath through my nose and Sasuke looks at me and I let it out.

"I'm not gonna say a thing about what you just said." I say to everyone as I relax my position and Mikoto grins.

"Now Tatsuyu, NO SLOUCHING!" Mikoto yells and me and deadpan as I sit up straight. "That's better." Mikoto says to me.

"This is gonna get old very fast." I say and Itachi chuckles amused by this.

Mikoto heads to the kitchen while I was ordered by Mikoto to help Sasuke with his homework.

"I don't want your help." Sasuke says turning away from me like the bratty kid he is.

I take a deep breath and I release it. "Honestly kid, I'm not very amused by your attitude." I say to Sasuke and I look at his work. I pull out my own piece of paper and I twirl the pencil in my hand. "Now, grab your pencil and don't push my buttons, I have a very short temper." I say to Sasuke who just huffs and ignores me.

My eye twitches in annoyance and I nearly break the pencil but Itachi takes it out of my hand.

"Sasuke, do you want me to help you?" Itachi asks him.

"No!" Sasuke says to him.

I take my pencil back and I start working on the problems, just staying quiet, not giving Sasuke a glance or Itachi for that matter.

"What is she doing?" Fugaku asks walking past.

"I have no idea." Itachi and Sasuke say to him and I finish and stand up.

"There, I helped, you can do whatever with it." I say and Sasuke looks at my work shocked.

"Your only a grade above me." Sasuke says to me.

I raise an eyebrow. "Yeah, that means I'm also smarter than you and I know everything your going to do next in the academy." I say to him.

Sasuke just tchs and turns away from me in annoyance and my eye twitches.

I calm myself down before I strangle him and I just calmly walk to the spare bedroom and I grab my book and I sit on the bed and read.

"Sasuke, apologize." Itachi says to him.

"Not a chance." Sasuke says to him.

"Itachi, its fine." I say as I turn the page.

"See, she says its fine, I have no idea why you want me to apologize." Sasuke says to him and Sasuke leaves.

Itachi just sighs and walks in, shutting the door quietly and he sits across from me.

"Did you know, that a pack of birds is called a murder?" I ask and Itachi stiffens before he relaxes and chuckles slightly while I raise an eyebrow.

Itachi lifts my chin up and kisses me and my face turns red and I kiss back. Itachi sits back after a minute and I sit there with a dazed look and Itachi chuckles.

"Tatsuyu." Itachi says to me amused and my face goes from a normal red color, to a red that surpasses an Uzumaki's hair.

I hide my face behind my book.

"Aww, don't hide your face." Itachi says to me amused and he moves the book from my face.

"I was reading that." I say to him and he closes my book and I stare at him in betrayal as he smirks at me.

I snort and Itachi chuckles and I try reaching for my book, but he holds it out of my reach and I pout and cross my arms over my chest as I turn away from him.

"Aww, your adorable." Itachi says to me and my mouth gapes open.

"I am not." I say to him, turning a full 180 so he can't see my face.

Itachi wraps his arms around my torso and rests his chin on my shoulder and my face turns red. "Yes you are, your adorable when you blush, you know that right?" Itachi asks me.

I faint from all this and he chuckles as he lays me down and sits at the end of the bed.

"Tatsuyu." Mikoto says coming in.

"She's tired Mother, we trained a lot today." Itachi says to her.

"Then why is her face red?" Mikoto asks him.

"Its just a trick of the light." Itachi says to her.

End of Flash Back

I cross my arms over my chest as it starts down pouring and I look up at the sky.

"Its just like back then too." I say and Sasuke nods in agreement and I smirk. "But this time, your brother can't daze me or steal my book or make me blush a brighter red than Karin's hair." I say and Sasuke raises an eyebrow.

"What the hell were you doing in the spare room?" Sasuke asks me.

"I was reading, then he stole my book, kissed me, I fainted, simple." I say and Sasuke nods.

I do a few hand signs and Sasuke raises an eyebrow and I hold my hand up and wind shoots through my palms and makes the clouds disperse.

"Honestly." I say with a roll of my eyes and Sasuke just sighs and I glance at him for a second before I look up at the sky. "You know, your paying for your mistakes by doing this right? So, stop throwing yourself a pity party." I say calmly and Sasuke stares at me shocked. "Besides, if you sigh so much, you'll age faster." I say to him.

"Oh yeah? Take your own advice about the aging." Sasuke says to me and my eye twitches in annoyance, but I just let it go, not, I hit Sasuke on the head.

"Would you quit pushing my buttons?" I ask him and he chuckles as I chase him, ready to pounce and kill.

"No, its fun." Sasuke says to me and I skid to a stop.

I growl in annoyance and I do some hand signs and I use my wind to pick Sasuke up and I just carry a helpless Sasuke next to me and he just starts pissing me off with every comment he makes. "THAT'S IT!" I yell almost loud enough for everyone in the five countries can hear. "You, are worse than Naruto when it comes to being annoying, he at least pisses Lady Tsunade off first before he pisses me off." I say and he stops talking for a minute at how loud my voice was.

"You have a loud voice." Sasuke says shocked and I snort.

I just drop him on the ground, harshly and I continue walking until I come across Chojuro and a few other Mist Ninja.

Chojuro looks at me timidly while I smile at them and then Sasuke walks up behind me and I can feel his pissed off aura and I push him back by his face.

"Nu uh Sasuke, you go sit over there, until I release you from that tree." I say to him and his eye twitches.

"Why should I?" Sasuke asks me.

"Because for one, I'm your superior, for two, your under my watch by orders of Kakashi, and for three, I get to boss you around because I'm older than you." I say and his eye twitches while the Mist Ninja look at us and Sasuke goes to choke me, but a very, very deadly aura emits from me, that's scares everyone around me. "Don't even try it, now go sit down, before I tell Kakashi that your death was an accident while we were training in Tai-Jutsu and I accidentally choked you too hard." I say and sickly calm tone and he backs up, and goes next to the tree.

I conceal my aura again and I calm down.

"U-Uh, Lady Tatsuyu, w-what's going on?" Chojuro asks me.

I smile at him. "I have to babysit grumpy over there while travelling." I say and Sasuke scowls at my back and I send a cold glare back, shutting him up. "He's just as problematic as he was when he was a kid, but he was cuter back then." I say and Chojuro nods.

"Well, what are you doing on the border here?" Chojuro asks me.

"Travelling, I needed a break after that war." I say to him and Chojuro nods.

"You know, you two should have a spar with your swords." Lady Mizukage says walking towards us.

"Uh, I'd probably kill him." I say to her.

"And I could injure her." Chojuro says to her.

"Aww, that's too bad, I heard from a source a couple years ago, that Tatsuyu here, fought with Kisame Hoshigaki and enjoyed the fight." Lady Mizukage says to us and my eyes widen slightly before I just shrug it off.

"And? Is it so bad to enjoy a fight against the Tailless Tailed Beast?" I ask her.

"Are you even listening to yourself today?" Sasuke asks me.

"You, go sit back down." I say to Sasuke who just smirks at Lady Mizukage and her gaze hardens and I sigh. "Honestly Sasuke, your gonna age me faster than anyone else in the Leaf Village, or the Five Great Countries, just, stop causing trouble and apologize to her." I say to him as I rest my face on the palm of my hand.

"And who's fault is it that I turned out this way?" Sasuke asks me and I just emit a very, very, very low growl.

"Sasuke, it was Danzo's fault, he was the cause for everything, now would you just quit it and apologize?" I ask him and he grumbles at me and I cross my arms over my chest, not dealing with his crap.

"You are a little"

I punch him into the ground. "Continue that sentence, and I can't be blamed for what'll happen next." I say and he struggles to get out of the ground and he scowls at me. "Now apologize, I'm not as easy going as Itachi was for you when you were a kid and you pissed me off." I say to him.

"Fine Mom, I'm sorry, happy now?" Sasuke asks me.

"Sincerely." I say to him.

"Ugh." Sasuke groans and I just raise an eyebrow. "I deeply regret attacking you at the Five Kage Summit Conference." Sasuke says to Lady Mizukage as he bows his head.

"Wow." Chojuro says to me shocked.

"Well, everything is good again." Lady Mizukage says to us and I nod.

"Now, was that so hard Sasuke?" I ask him with a smile and he grumbles in annoyance at me. "Well, its progress, I guess, this is gonna take a while." I say as I scratch the back of my head with a small nervous sweat drop.

"It might." Lady Mizukage says to me.

"Yeah, that doesn't help." I say to her and she laughs. "Anyways, Sasuke, go back and sit down and stay put this time." I say to Sasuke and he just blows me off. "You are just a brat, your even more bratty than you were when you were a kid, seriously, what am I supposed to do with you?" I ask him.

"I just love making your life difficult." Sasuke says to me with a smirk and the side of my lips twitch into a smirk and I just start walking.

"Bye bye, you can deal with him, I think I'm gonna go get lunch, maybe find a good place to sleep." I say and Sasuke just follows me and I sulk mentally.

I find a tea shop and I tie Sasuke to a tree outside.

"Now stay." I say to him.
