6 Months Later - Tatsuyu's POV

"TENTEN, TATSU! GET UP!" Someone yells outside the apartment at the crack of dawn. I grab my katana and I trudge to the door with TenTen behind me, I open it and I hold my Katana to Lee's neck while TenTen holds her axe against Guy-Sensei's.

"Go, to hell." I say and they bolt and I shut and lock the door. I go back to my bed and I fall asleep.

8 AM

"Tatsu, its time to get up." Someone says to me and I groan.

"Fine." I say and I sit up and I get out of my bed and I lay back down again. "There, I got up." I say to whoever told me to get up. "Wait a second." I mutter into my pillow and I look over to see Kakashi, Guy-Sensei and TenTen by my door and I groan again. "GO AWAY!" I yell at them and TenTen laughs as I throw kunai at them and the two adults scramble around, trying to dodge my Kunai. Once my kunai run out I throw my katana and it lands right in-between Kakashi and Guy's faces and they pale.

I groan and I get up, grabbing my Katana and I stare at them with a calm stare.

"You all suck." I say and TenTen falls over laughing and she pulls me out of my room.

"Your only like this because they woke you up." TenTen says to me and I grumble. "And your stomach is empty since we didn't get dinner or Lunch yesterday." TenTen adds and has me sit at the counter as she puts a plate of food in front of me.

"Why the hell am I awake?" I ask and I see Guy and Kakashi still frozen in fear. "Would you two quit that? Your annoying me." I say as I eat and TenTen joins me with her plate of food as we watch the two gather their bearings.

"How are you do good at that?" Kakashi asks shocked and I raise an eyebrow.

"Go away. I have no desire to talk to someone who woke me up." I say to Kakashi and I finish eating and I wash my plate. I walk to my room and I shut my door.

"DON'T GO BACK TO SLEEP!" TenTen yells.

"I'm not! I'm getting dressed!" I say loud enough for her to hear.

"I hope your not lying!" TenTen yells.

I grumble and I change into a dark blue long sleeve sweater with black leggings and my ninja sandals. I walk around collecting my kunai and I put them away and I walk out of my bedroom.

"You going shopping?" TenTen asks me and I nod and she tosses me my key. "I'll be training with my weapons." TenTen says to me and I smile at her.

"Alright, I'll be back in a while." I say and Kakashi and Guy watch me as I leave. "And by the time I get back, I want to see you two bafoons out of my apartment." I say to the adults and they pale at my cold tone. I head to the market and I get what I need and I head back to see everyone cleared out of the apartment and I smile. I put the groceries away and I make myself a cup of hot cocoa.

TenTen will be gone a while, no one is gonna dare come to the apartment, I'll be alone.

I stand on the balcony with my hot cocoa and I sigh. Someone knocks on the door to my apartment and I walk over and I open it to see Neji, TenTen and Lee. "What?" I ask.

"We're all going for lunch, wanna come?" TenTen asks with a smile.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because we're a team." TenTen says and I raise an eyebrow.

"Your point?" I ask her.

"Oh come on, you don't want to be an outcast do you?" TenTen asks and I look at her.

"I am an outcast, and I don't care." I say and that takes Neji and Lee by surprise while TenTen groans in frustration and I close the door behind me. "Where do you guys wanna go?" I ask and TenTen smiles victorious and she starts to drag me by the arm. "Hey, no dragging." I say to her and she lets me go immediately and the four of us head to Barbeque.

"I want pork this time." TenTen says to us and I smile amused as we order.

"I don't know, steak sounds good." I say and TenTen rolls her eyes.

"Your only saying that to contradict me." TenTen says to me and I shrug while the waitress looks at the four of us and I smile at her.

"What do you guys want?" I ask the boys.

"Whatever is fine." Neji says to me.

"RANDOM!" Lee yells and I shrug.

"One order of steak and three pork." I say and the waitress nods and leaves.

Our food gets here and we start grilling it while TenTen goes on and on about random subjects and I smile amused while Neji rolls his eyes as Lee joins her.

"Opposites counter balance each other and make a balanced team." Neji says to me and I nod in agreement.

"But you have to admit, it is amusing to watch them." I say and Neji nods.

Our food finishes grilling and I put my steak on my plate.

I eat my steak while I watch the three conversate as they eat. I end up paying after we finish and the four of us walk around for a bit while the three talk and I just watch, amused by the most random subjects they get on.

"I THINK WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING FUN!" Lee announces at the top of his lungs.

"Like?" TenTen asks.

"BUNGEE JUMPING!" Lee yells with a grin.

"Fine." Neji says and I sigh.

"Why not?" TenTen says with a smile and everyone looks at me.

"No." I say and I continue walking.

"Oh come on, you have to do something fun every once in a while." TenTen says to me.

I look at them. "I don't feel like breaking my neck today, you guys can, I'll be somewhere else, probably training." I say and TenTen sighs.

"You need to loosen up." TenTen says to me.

I wave as I walk. "See ya." I say and she groans in frustration and I smirk as I walk.

I head back to the apartment and I sit on the couch reading until a bird pecks on the window and starts its squawking and I roll my eyes and get up and I move to my bedroom and I sit on my bed reading and the same bird taps on the window and I start to get annoyed. I walk over to the window and the bird has a message attached to its foot and I read it.

'Come to the Hokage office, mission! -Guy-Sensei.'

I roll my eyes and I send the bird back and I change into my mission gear and I walk to the Hokage office and I knock.

"Come in."

I walk in to see Guy-Sensei and Kakashi there along with Lord Hokage.

"Good your here, now, on to talk about the mission." Lord Hokage says to us and a confused look crosses my eyes. "And before you ask Tatsuyu, no, Neji, Lee and TenTen are not going." He says cutting me off before I could speak.

"Then why am I going?" I ask.

"You'll see." Lord Hokage says and I cross my arms over my chest as I stand next to Guy-Sensei with Kakashi next to him. "You three are going to go to a village called The Village Hidden in the Desert, they are in need of water and there's also rumors going around that whenever they do get water, a group comes an steals it for themselves. Your job is to get them water and take out the group, that's all your hired for." Lord Hokage says to us and I narrow my eyes slightly at the sound of this mission.

"Your only having me go because of my Water Release." I say to Lord Hokage who nods.

"Your the only one in the village who's alive, with a strong Water Release Chakra Nature." Lord Hokage says and I sigh.

"When do we leave?" I ask Guy-Sensei and Kakashi.

"HALF AN HOUR!" Guy yells and dashes out and I sweat drop.

"Where he finds this energy is beyond me." Kakashi says and I nod in agreement.

"What rank is this mission?" I ask.

"B." Kakashi says to me and I walk out of the room.

"Thanks!" I call as I walk. I get back to mine and TenTen's apartment and I walk in, I walk to my bedroom and I grab my bag and I head to the kitchen, leaving a note on the counter.

'I'm going on a B-Rank Mission with Guy-Sensei and Kakashi, they apparently need my Water Style or whatever, I'll be back in 1 week, 2 tops. -Tatsuyu'

I make some sandwiches and I place the note on top of the plastic wrap and I grab my book from the living room and I put it in my bag and I leave. I head to the gates to see Guy-Sensei, but no Kakashi.

"He's gonna be late!" Guy-Sensei announces slightly as we wait.

I pull out my book and I read as we wait, after 30 more minutes, Kakashi gets here.

"Your late." Me and Guy-Sensei say at the same time and Kakashi sweat drops. I put my book back and I look at Kakashi.

"The Village hidden in the Desert is a 3 Day's trip from here, I suggest we get a move on." I say and Kakashi nods in agreement and Guy-Sensei takes off running and I reluctantly follow with Kakashi on my heels.

I run faster to keep up with Guy-Sensei as he runs as fast and as inhumanly possible.

"Does he know where he's going?" I ask Kakashi who only nods. I sigh and we try keeping up to Guy-Sensei, but, he continues to run faster, basically leaving the two of us in the dust, we sigh and slow down to a normal run.

"We'll get there soon enough, he's not gonna wait for us, he's too eager." Kakashi says to me and I nod in agreement.

"Oh well." I say and after a couple hours we stop for a small break.

"How are you not affected by all that running?" Kakashi asks me and I smile at him.

"Guy-Sensei is my teacher." I say and Kakashi nods and we take a drink before we continue running.

We only stop a few times to drink and eat and rest for a hour or two and we finally get to the Village Hidden in the Desert with Kakashi leading the way since I don't know my way there.

"What took you guys so long?" Guy asks with a smirk and a fake smile plays on my face as I walk over and I punch him in the gut, making him fly back a couple yards and land on his behind.

"Shut up, you left us behind, next time don't be so eager, we couldn't keep up." I say and Guy holds his stomach in pain and Kakashi nods in agreement with me.

"Well, she's blunt." Someone says and I look over to see some Sand Ninja and I look at them, slightly confused.

"Kakashi, was this a joint mission?" I ask him and Kakashi stands there, equally as confused as me.

"I don't think it was, Lord Hokage mention nothing about the Sand Village being here." Kakashi says to me and I frown, tensing a bit, getting ready to defend if need be and I see Kakashi tense slightly too while Guy gets up.

"Your Kakashi Hatake of the Sharigan Eye, the Copy Cat Ninja and Might Guy." Another ninja says, recognizing them while as I'm, just watching them calmly, analyzing them, until I see something.

"May I see your forehead protectors?" I ask with a smile and Kakashi glances at me.

"Our Village Forehead protectors?" The leader asks me and I give them a closed eyed smile with a nod.

"Just to verify your Hidden Sand Shinobi." I say and I can see them start to sweat nervously and they look around in their pouches.

"Oh man, I think we left them at home, we were in such a rush this morning to come help the Hidden Dessert, we must have forgot to put them on." The Leader says with a nervous smile and I pull out a kunai as a closed eyed smile plays on my face.

"I see, well you know, Ninja don't leave their village with out their Village Headband unless they're going rouge, not to mention, a group of 6 coincidentally forgetting their Village Headbands? Its a common rule for a ninja to always wear their headband outside their village, no matter where it is, it could be on your leg, waist, arm, forehead, neck, the side of your head and so on, but its always on a Ninja." I say to them and Kakashi's eye widens slightly and Guy-Sensei smirks proudly at me. "Now, I'll give you to the count of 5 to say who you are, what your doing, and why your interrupting us. 1." I start.

"How did she?" One of Ninja asks shocked.

"2." I say.

"She's got a good analyzing skill, but she looks puny." The Leader says and my eye twitches slightly.

"3." I count.

They try playing me off as I pull out four more kunai.

"4." I say and Kakashi and Guy-Sensei get into an offensive position.

"Woah, hold up, hold up, two Jonin of the Leaf are gonna take us on?" The Leader says and I smile at the group.

"5." I say and I throw the Kunai at them and they explode, sending the group ninja back a couple yards and they look at us. "You'll tell us who you are, what your doing and why your interrupting us, right now and no later." I say and they stare at us with mild fear.

"Alright Tatsuyu, you want to handle them and show off what you learned or leave it to us?" Guy-Sensei asks me with a grin.

I shrug. "Makes no difference to me, so long as I get my answers, I'm perfectly fine with whatever." I say and Guy grins as I pull out some wire and some kunai.

"We'll do it full team then." Guy-Sensei says and I tie some paper bombs on the kunai and I thread the wire through my kunai holes and I throw it, landing in a circle around the group of rouges and me, Kakashi and Guy-Sensei form a triangle around them.

I hold my Katana to the neck of the leader and he stares up at me. "Now, please give me my answers, you won't like the outcome if you don't." I say to him in a calm tone.

"What, you gonna make us go boom?" He says mocking me.

"Precisely." I say and he gulps slightly at the cold metal holding his chin up.

"Fine, fine! We're the group called the Shadows, we heard that a group of Ninja would be coming with water, we have been stealing the water from the Hidden Desert along with food here and there." The Leader says to us.

"Huh, that was surprisingly easy." I say and Kakashi nods in agreement. "We'll be taking you into custody and bringing you with us and dropping you off at the Hidden Sand as we pass by on our way back to the Hidden Leaf. I'm sure they'd love your return." I say to them.

"More like loath." The Leader mutters and Guy-Sensei ties them up.

"Alright, now for the second part of the mission." Kakashi says to me and I nod and I walk into the Hidden Desert and two Hidden Desert Nin stop me.

"Calm down, I'm the Water Release User Tatsuyu Senju from the Hidden Leaf." I say and they escort me to the center of town where a river once flowed through, but doesn't any longer.

"We need water, children are dying of dehydration and starvation, we can't grow anything to eat." A ninja says to me.

I nod. "Don't worry, my Captain and my Teacher are outside the village, keeping watch over the ninja who have been stealing your water, they won't bother you anymore." I say as I do hand signs and they nod. I place my palm over where the river should be. "Water Style: Never Ending Water River." I mutter under my breath and I place my palm on the earth and water starts to form and soon enough, a river is going through town again and I watch the villagers drink from the pure water.

"Thank you." The Chief says to me, Kakashi and Guy-Sensei.

Me and Kakashi give him a closed eyed smile while Guy does the Nice Guy pose and we leave with the rouge ninja. We arrive at the Hidden Sand Village and one of the guards stops us.

"Who are you?" The guard asks us.

"Hidden Leaf Shinobi who were on a mission to take out a group of ninja who were stealing water at the Hidden Desert, turns out their your rouges." Kakashi says to him with a closed eyed smile as Guy-Sensei drops them in front of the guard and he looks at us surprised, but then looks at me confused.

"Who are you? I don't think I've ever seen you before, I know these two, they're in the bingo book, but I've never seen your face." He asks me.

"Tatsuyu Senju, Genin of the Hidden Leaf." I say to him and he thinks for a second.

"Are you related to Lady Tsunade?" He asks me and I sweat drop while Kakashi and Guy-Sensei have to go back a few yards, since their amusement can't be contained.

"Yes, I am." I say and he holds out his hand.

"Lady Tsunade owes us a lot of money, pay up." He says to me and I take a sharp intake of breath through my nose.

"Not a chance, she'll pay it herself, besides, I don't have contact with her. She hasn't been in the Leaf Village since my 2nd Birthday after the Nine Tails killed my parents. Even then, she was only in the Leaf for a week watching over me and attending the funeral." I say to him and he sulks.

"She owes me a lot of money." He mutters.

"Too bad, the next time I see her, I'll make sure to tell her that she's indebted to you, which won't be for quite some time." I say to him in a calm tone while I see Kakashi and Guy-Sensei dying of laugher a couple yards away. "Anyways, we'll be going now." I say and the guard nods and I start dragging Kakashi and Guy-Sensei with me by the ears.

"Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, OW!" They continue to repeat as we walk.

I snort at them and I let them go and they follow me as I cross my arms over my chest. "My Cousin has a lot of explaining to do." I say and Kakashi smiles amused and a day and a half later of running, non-stop, we make it to the Hidden Leaf, with me and Kakashi about to collapse and Guy-Sensei, well, he's Guy-Sensei.

We head to the Hokage Office and Kakashi knocks.

"Come in."

We walk in and Lord Hokage looks at us surprised.

"You finished in a week, I thought it would have taken you guys longer." Lord Hokage says to us.

"Ha, please, Tatsuyu is the Number One Rookie of her year, Neji closely following in Second, but, she and Kakashi did arrive to the Hidden Desert, 2 days later than I." Guy-Sensei says to him and I sigh.

"He left me and Kakashi in the dust since he was too eager about the mission that he forgot we were there." I explain and Lord Hokage nods.

"Anyways, the group was caught and Tatsuyu did a great job with giving the village water." Kakashi says to him and Lord Hokage nods and pays us our money.

"Your dismissed, but Guy, your to stay here, I want detail on what happened." Lord Hokage says to him and Guy-Sensei grins proudly.

"Of course, Tatsuyu, I get bragging rights on you right?" Guy-Sensei asks I wave him off as I walk to the door.

"Don't over exaggerate and you'll be fine." I say and I walk back to the apartment and TenTen hugs me.

"YOUR SAFE!" She yells and I smile amused by her as she rants about the horrible week she had. "Your the Teams good luck charm, don't leave for so long again!" TenTen begs me.

"I'm not a good luck charm, I'm a human being." I say to her and I walk into the bathroom and I shower and change into my pajama's.

"But you came back unscathed!" TenTen says to me with amazement.

"Uh huh, Kakashi and Guy-Sensei were also on that mission, they wouldn't let me get hurt, you know that, we hardly did much fighting though." I say as I sit on the couch, letting her work on my hair as I eat the sandwiches she picked up earlier from my favorite sandwich place.

"I know, but your so strong and cool!" TenTen goes on and on about me and I just eat, amused by this.

"I'm not that great, I just train, that's all." I say and TenTen finishes with my hair and I lay on the couch, over her lap and I stretch. "I'm dead." I say and fake a dead pose and she pushes me off the couch and I hit the ground with a thud and a groan. "Oww." I mutter as I sit up and TenTen laughs at me and I roll my eyes and I curl up on the recliner chair. "Sleep, something I didn't get all week since I was busy trying to catch up to Guy-Sensei." I mutter and TenTen laughs amused and she puts a blanket over me and hands me a pillow and I fall asleep, cuddling the pillow to me.
