A Few Days Later - Tatsuyu's POV

I walk out of my apartment with Kiara and we head to the Hokage office. I knock once and walk in and Lady Tsunade looks at me.

"Well?" Lady Tsunade asks me.

"Finished, all my studying is done." I say and just as that happens, there's a crash in the village Kiara growls.

"An unfamiliar scent." Kiara says and I look at Lady Tsunade.

"Go stop whatever is happening, I'll be on the roof." Lady Tsunade orders me and I nod.

We run out of the building and down the streets, only to get punched back into a building.

I growl in annoyance and so does Kiara and I rush at the guy and I punch him square in the face and he flies back considerably and me and Kiara follow him to see Kakashi, Choza and Choji fighting another guy.

Then I realize something as the big guy comes back at me.

"Tatsuyu, watch out!" Kakashi says to me and I grab Pain's fist and I slam him into the ground, shocking everyone.

"I'm not in a very good mood." I say to the two Pain's.

"And this, is when she gets serious." Kakashi says with a sweat drop.

"Kiara, go gather all the Genin and have them evacuate all the villagers, once your done with that, your to go back to your Pride and keep Panda with you, I'll send you with one of my clones." I say to her and she nods with a small snarl and I make a water clone and they leave.

"I have no idea what your thinking." Kakashi says joining my side.

"I'm thinking, that these are the guys who killed Jiraiya and I'm pissed he let such weaklings kill him." I say and Kakashi sweat drops until the guy gets up with out a scratch.

"Your anger is fueling you." The small skinny guy says to me and I blink, my calm façade returning and I start doing some hand signs.

"That isn't going to work." Kakashi says to me and I smirk.

"You have no idea." I say and I slam the ground. "Water Style: Water Wall!" I say and a water wall throws the two Pain's back and Kakashi looks slightly surprised along with the Pain's.

"You shouldn't have been able to hit us." The skinny one says to me.

"Surprised? Well you killed my God-Father, you killed Naruto's teacher and your invading my village." I say to him.

"Who? Jiraiya-Sensei?" The skinny one asks with a smirk.

Kakashi glances at me.

"I have no idea what the hell your doing here, but, you Akatsuki aren't aloud in the Hidden Leaf Village." I say standing up straight, never losing my calm as the Pain guy attacks me while the big one leaves.

I dodge his attacks and I punch him square in the gut and he flies back into a tree and Kakashi smirks.

"My patience is wearing thin, leave my village or you'll be killed here." I say to him and he tries attacking me from multiple angles, but each time, I counter with one of my Originals and me, Kakashi, Choza and Choji fight against this Pain.

"Where is Naruto Uzumaki?" The Pain asks attempting to grab my hair, but I duck and kick his legs out from under him and he jumps back.

"Not a clue, I've been in my apartment." I say with a smirk and After a while, Kakashi gets beaten down along with Choza and me ad Choji have no choice but to back down for a few minutes and the Pain leaves.

I crouch next to Kakashi and I lay my hand on his head and it glows green with my healing ability and he looks at me.

"You shouldn't waste your chakra." Kakashi says to me and I smirk.

"You think I'm gonna let you just up and die?" I ask him.

"Its no use." Kakashi says to me and I sigh in annoyance.

"Just shut up and don't talk, I'll never hear the end of it from Guy-Sensei if you were to die here and now." I say to him annoyed and he closes his eyes and I notice his breathing stopped and I sigh and sit next him. "Honestly." I say and I get up and I check on Choza and I keep watch over these two until I see big Jutsu about to destroy us and I do a multitude of hand signs and I slam the ground. "Water Style: Four Corner Sealing Water Wall!" I yell and all around the village water rises up and covers us.

"Tatsuyu!" A few Jonin yell in relief that I'm ok.

I hold the Jutsu for as long as possible until Pains Jutsu crushes us all.

I grunt as I slowly get up after that Jutsu. "I'm glad I used that as a cushion." I mutter and I stand up straight and I slide down the hill on my heels with ease and I land at the bottom, a couple yards away from Pain and he looks at me.

"The Water Style User is still alive it seems, no matter, I'll dispose of you here and now." He says and I pull out my katana and I scowl at him.

"You've destroyed my village, look at it, its in ruins, it took my Great Grandfather forever to help build this village from the ground up with his brother." I say and a poof happens behind me.

"Tatsu." Naruto says behind me.

I look at him and I nod and back off and I jump up next to Sakura.

We watch the fight happen and then Hinata goes down to protect him and I stare at her shocked.

She gets blown up by Pain and Naruto goes on a rampage and starts turning into the Nine Tails.

I get up and I jump down and I pick Hinata up to get her out of the way and I jump back up next to Sakura and she gets to work on Hinata since I can't because I'm really low on Chakra.

I see Yamato trying to help him but failing and then, all of it stops. My hands twitch readying to fight just incase of something happening.

I see Naruto defeat this Pain and the leaves.

I sigh as sit back on my heels, waiting and after a long time, Naruto comes back to a crowd of people.

I lean back on my heels in relief as people wake up and I look over at Lady Tsunade with a frown and I see her not waking up.

I look out at my village to see its just demolished, nothing can be salvaged, if anything can be, its in rough shape and hidden.

I get up and I check on Lady Tsunade to her Chakra is extremely low and her stress levels are beyond anything I've ever seen, excluding mine. I do a hand sign and I gather some chakra before I place my hand over Lady Tsunade's head and I heal her injuries for the most part and Shizune looks at me to see I'm exhausted.

"Don't over work yourself Tatsuyu." Shizune says to me and I shake my head.

"She's my cousin, I can't lose her, besides, when is overworking myself anything, I've gone months with out any breaks from missions, this is nothing." I say to her.

"You look exhausted." Shizune says to me and I shake my head.

"I'm fine, you should worry about your own injuries." I say to her and after a couple minutes, I finish and I sit back on my heels biting my fingernail. "I'm gonna go check on the citizens to make sure they're ok." I say as I get up and Shizune nods.

I head to the Hokage faces with a few Jonin Hyuga Members behind me and we get to the evacuation area.

"Is everyone ok?" I ask and the citizens look at me.

"Tatsuyu? Is everything ok?" My land lady asks me.

I nod. "Everything is settled, but the village is in ruins, there is nothing left but rubble." I say and Danzo looks at me as the Hyuga go to help some of the elderly stand up and I calm the kids down. "Besides, we're the Leaf Village, our Will of Fire can't be diminished like buildings, we'll start rebuilding soon once we're physically recovered, I will oversee the building process and village manners as Lady Tsunade recovers from her injuries." I say once the kids are calmed down and some men look at me.

"You will?" A tall guy asks me and I nod.

"My cousin needs rest after using her seal to support us during battle, but I want to start building as soon as possible, most likely once we get supplies to do so." I say to him.

"How can a girl oversee Hokage duties like that?" Danzo asks me and I narrow my eyes at him.

"You have no room to speak Danzo, I know you won't lift a finger to help rebuilding and the village needs someone they can depend on during this time who will actually get their hands dirty to help rebuild and make the village better." I say and he just smirks at me.

"Can they depend on you though?" Danzo asks and the Hyuga members look at me.

"She's dependable, after all, she cushioned the blow of the Akatsuki Member that destroyed the village, with her Water Style, her healing abilities rival Lady Tsunade's and she's collected and calmer than anyone else in the village at this current time, she can protect this village while Lady Tsunade recovers." Hiashi says to him taking my side on this.

"Thank you Hiashi. Anyways, with anyone who wants to help rebuild the village, come to me tomorrow, I'll be at the gates, if anyone can baby sit children that would be appreciated and we need people to help make food for the village." I say and everyone nods. "Sorry to make all of you work like this, but, if we all pitch in, the building will go quicker and our village will be better than before." I say and the Hyuga clan members do as Hiashi instructs them and I head back down into the village.

"Tatsu! Your ok!" TenTen says hugging me and I smile amused.

"Yeah, I was checking on the citizens and telling them what's gonna happen next." I say and she nods.

"So, what do you want us to do?" Neji asks me.

"Why do you assume I'm gonna be in charge?" I ask him.

"I just know your gonna take over until Lady Tsunade is able to continue her duties." Neji says to me.

"Well, I'm gonna have everyone who wants to help rebuild, at the gate tomorrow, I'll be there most likely figuring out what to do, there will be people watching the kids and people who also helping with cooking for the village, Hiashi is ordering the Hyuga clan around right now." I say to them and they nod. "But, we won't start building until we have supplies and we're physically ok to do so." I say and TenTen nods.

"Well, you look exhausted." TenTen says to me.

"And everyone says I'm blunt." I say and TenTen and Neji nod. "Anyways, I'm gonna have the citizens stay up in the Mountain Faces until the rubble is cleared and enough houses are built, we need medical tents though, but we don't have supplies for that yet, so we'll have to make do with what we have, I'll see if I can't send word to Tazuna from the Land of Waves to help with the building process, he and his men should make it here rather quick, Yamato, you'll be of help too with your Wood Style, I'll see if I can't get supplies from outside the village, I'll send some Genin to the outposts for stuff like tools." I say to the people surrounding me and they nod.

"Your really taking charge Tatsuyu." Guy-Sensei says to me.

"Someone has to and I'm not letting this village fall to ruin. So, anyone who's been slacking off lately is going to have to put themselves in gear and step up and help, I'm not as leisurely as Lady Tsunade normally is, but, let me tell you one thing, if it were the other way around and she was in charge right now, you'd be her slaves like you were 3 years ago after the incident with Orochimaru." I say and the Jonin nod while the Chunin groan and the Genin look ready to go.

"Great, the Mini Lady Tsunade is taking over." Kotesu says and I look at him.

"Kotesu, Izumo, would you two like to go to the Land of Waves to get Tazuna?" I ask them and they freeze as I single the two out. "After all, you two slack off at your post all day by sleeping, this might be a good chance for some exorcise." I say to them and they look at me while Neji smirks at my tone.

"When do we leave?" Kotesu asks in defeat.

"Tomorrow, we all need to focus on our injuries right now, if we're not in tip top shape to work, it affects our efficiency, Lee, Neji, go guard the gates, you two have no injuries and your chakra reserves are fine, and you'll both be able to warn anyone of trespassers." I say to them and the four of them nod and get to work. "TenTen, your gonna come with me, Guy-Sensei, don't over do it with helping people, you'll weird them out, but, get all the injured in the same place." I say to them and they nod. "Yamato, what happened to your mission?" I ask him.

"I came here when I saw the seals on my hands start going up for Naruto, I abandoned my mission to come here." Yamato says to me and I nod.

"Well, you go help Guy-Sensei with bringing the injured to a safer place." I say to him and he nods and goes to help Guy-Sensei.

"So, what are we gonna do?" TenTen asks me.

"We're going into the rubble where the Hospital was to see if we can't find anything useable to treat people with." I say to her and she nods.

"I'll help." Hinata and Sakura say to me and I nod.

"Lets go then, or Guy-Sensei will be finished before us and hold it over our heads for who knows how long." I say and TenTen nods in agreement.

"He's still calling us slow." TenTen says to me.

We head to the rubble and Hinata uses her Byakugan while I smash some boulders with my fists and TenTen removes other boulders with the help of Sakura and we find enough medical supplies to help.

"At least we managed to find these." Sakura says to us and I nod in agreement.

"Come on, lets go start treating people." I say and we head to the Injured area to see Guy-Sensei bringing in the last one.

"Did you find enough supplies?" Yamato asks and we nod.

"Alright, who has the more serious injuries?" I ask and a few people raise their hands. "Sakura, go help them." I say and she nods and takes a few medical kits and I look at everyone else. "Alright, Hinata, TenTen, go help as many as you can and I'll get to work on Shizune and Lady Tsunade." I say to them and they nod. I take my own medical kit and I walk over to Shizune who's looking at me.

"When did you grow up?" Shizune asks me and I smile amused.

"I've always been grown up, what are you talking about?" I ask her and I start treating her wounds with some disinfectant and she winces. After a couple minutes, I finish doing what I can for her and then she helps me with Lady Tsunade.

"You know, if Lady Tsunade was watching you just now while you were ordering everyone around, she'd be really proud, Master Jiraiya would be too." Shizune says to me.

"I'm just doing what I can do best at the moment." I say to her and Kakashi brings Naruto over to me once I finish with Lady Tsunade. "Naruto, you look worse than anyone else here." I say and he laughs nervously as I start treating his wounds. "Your such a reckless idiot, you know, me and Sakura can't do this forever you know, you have to be more careful, if you were anyone reckless, you could have died, and if it weren't for Lord Fukasaku's training, you would have died." I say scolding him as I treat his wounds and after a couple minutes of scolding, I finish treating his wounds.

"Jeez, your like a nagging older sister." Naruto says to me and a thought crosses his mind and he gasps in realization while I raise an eyebrow. "Pervy Sage was my God Father too wasn't he?" Naruto asks me.

"How would I know?" I ask him as I put my medical stuff away.

"Because you know everything." Naruto says to me.

"I don't know everything, I'm not a god you idiot and if he were, then what the hell have you been doing?" I ask him.

"So he was wasn't he? Then that would mean we're god siblings." Naruto says to me.

"Honestly, if anyone is gonna drive me crazy now, its gonna be you." I say to him. "And besides, if you were, how would I even know anything about that?" I ask him as I get up.

Naruto continues to pester me while I continue bluffing.
