The Next Day - Tatsuyu's POV

I stir slightly as I feel a presence leave the room. I get up and I see Sai not here and I panic slightly but I just keep calm and I take my normal clothes to the bathroom and I change and I brush out my hair as I walk outside to the dock where I see Sai painting.

"You know its early right?" I ask him as I finish brushing my hair out.

"Why are you up?" Sai asks me.

"I was just a bit troubled when I felt a presence leaving our room, I wanted to make sure it wasn't something I needed to worry myself about." I say with a shrug.

"You know, with flat hair, you look like a plate of steel." Sai says to me.

I shrug. "Names are just names, call me what you wish, my hair is fabulous either way." I say as I mess my hair up to look normal. "Anyways, what are you doing out here?" I ask I sit down with my legs folded neatly under me.

"A drawing." Sai says as he continues and I nod with a small smile and I look at the water and soon enough, Sakura comes out.

"Tatsuyu, Sai, what are you doing out here?" Sakura asks us.

I shrug and she looks at Sai's drawing and starts talking to him while I get up.

I head back to the room and I pack up my bag and then I prod Naruto and Yamato awake. "Time to get up, you can't sleep all day no matter how much you want to." I say to them and Naruto groans in annoyance.

"No Tatsu." Naruto says to me.

"I'll get you some ramen for breakfast at the nearest tea shop." I say and he bolts up and into the bathroom with his clothes. "Yamato, up, we have a mission to continue." I say and he just nods as he sits up and goes to get ready and then Naruto gets out of the bathroom and I look at his hair with a sigh. "Come here Naruto, you need to brush your hair, it looks like a rats nest." I say and he just smirks and sits in front of me and I brush his hair out and once I'm finished, I ruffle it to make it look normal. "Done, now pack your bag and clean up your mess." I say to him.

"Yes Ma'am." Naruto says to me with a grin and cleans up his mess and Yamato gets his stuff together as I grab my bag, which is a dark blue satchel bag that I put over my head and the strap rests on one shoulder while the bag rests on the opposite hip.

Naruto walks out of the place and to the docks and I follow him and then he starts being rude to Sai and I hit him on the head, harshly.

"ITAI!" Naruto yells as he holds the new forming bump on his head.

"Naruto, be nice, or I'm not getting you your ramen like I said I would." I say to him.

"Why should I though? He's never gonna replace Sasuke." Naruto says to me and I raise an eyebrow.

"He doesn't need to replace Sasuke, Sai is his own person, he replaces no one and no one replaces him, Sasuke is his own person, he replaces no one and no one replaces him, they don't fill in for each other, Sai is on this team for a while to cover that missing spot while I cover for the Jonin Spot and Yamato covers for Kakashi, no one replaces anyone, got that?" I ask Naruto and he just nods and Sai stares at me shocked.

"Wow, at least there's one person on this team who's sane." Yamato says to us.

I shrug. "Naruto, stop glaring at Sai." I say and he freezes.

"How?" Sakura asks me shocked.

I tilt my head to the side slightly. "He's just like Jiraiya, in so many aspects, they're both perverted, loud, annoying sometimes, predictable, they enter battles as loudly as possible, easily amused as girls go passed, they love to train or do missions, and they especially love to bug me." I say with a small shrug. "And, Jiraiya is my God-Father, so I should know more about those two than my team." I say and Naruto gulps nervously.

"Alright, lets get going." Yamato says to us and we nod and continue on with our journey and we pass by a Tea Shop and Naruto looks at me and I roll my eyes.

"I said I was already gonna get you ramen if you got up, don't look at me like that." I say to Naruto and he cheers as I walk into the Tea House with a small sigh and I order some ramen for him and I hand it to him as we continue walking.

"Thanks Tatsu!" Naruto yells hugging me once he's done.

I hold him back by his face. "Nu uh, no hugs, your worse than Lee and Guy-Sensei." I say to him and he just grins and licks my hand. "Ew! Naruto!" I yell and I try wiping my hand on him but he dodges, multiple times and I scowl in annoyance while Sakura laughs at us and I catch him off guard ad I wipe my hand where he can't reach, the middle of his back.

"Tatsu!" Naruto yells as he tries chasing me, but I trip him and he falls on his face.

"Oops, seems you fell Naruto." I say and he scowls at up me while I smirk. "Truce?" I ask him and he grumbles and looks over and I step on and over him as I continue walking and he chases me, but I dodge him several times while I keep my hands behind my back.

"These two act just like siblings." Yamato says with a sweat drop.

"I'm not surprised, its what Tatsuyu said, Master Jiraiya is her God-Father and Naruto is his student, not to mention, Tatsuyu acts like an older sister to him that he never had, I remember a few times in the academy, she was a grade ahead of us and saw Naruto being picked on by some kids and swiftly took care of the problem, she didn't know him too well, but she was usually there stopping people from picking on him, I guess its because she knows how he feels, neither of them had parents when they were kids." Sakura says to him and Yamato nods and Sai looks a bit shocked.

"Are you done talking about me yet?" I ask and Sakura blushes embarrassed slightly.

"Yeah." Sakura says to me and I nod.

"Good, I don't like being the center of attention if at all possible." I say and I watch Naruto as he falls back to talk with Sakura and I roll my eyes amused.

I think Hinata's a better match for him.

After a while we get to a clearing in the forest and Yamato uses his wood style to create a house and I look at it with mild shock.

"Wow! Captain Yamato, this is awesome!" Naruto yells with a grin to the guy sitting on his creation.

I sweat drop and I head inside and I explore the rooms before we all head to one room and I set my bag down next to the wall and I pull out my book and read as everyone else gets situated.

"Your really delved into that book, aren't you?" Yamato asks sitting next to me.

"This is one of my favorites, of course, it can't compare to 'Tales of the Gutsy Ninja' but its still really good." I say and Yamato nods.

"So, what's the real reason you came on this mission?" Yamato asks me and I snap my book shut at those words and he sweat drops.

I shrug. "Impulse, of course, I won't reveal why I'm really here, the old bags would have my head, I already acted against them a few times." I say and I put my book away.

"You know they aren't listening right?" Yamato asks me.

"I already told you, Impulse." I say to him with a calm tone as I get up. "Anyways, you wanted to do a meeting tonight, right?" I ask him and Yamato nods surprised I remembered and he calls everyone to the center of the room and I sit next to Naruto with my legs folded under me.

"Alright, we're going to go over the mission." Yamato says and starts talking and he asks Sakura questions about Sasori, which seemed to gotten on her nerves and I glance at her as she explains what she knows and then after all the talking, Yamato gets onto the teams. "And now for the teams, it will be Sai, Naruto and Tatsuyu, and then Sakura and me." Yamato says to us.

"What?" Naruto asks shocked and I nod.

"That's reasonable, a medical ninja on each team will help, this team also helps me anyways, I normally work in teams of three or more." I say and Yamato nods and eyes me for a second.

"These two are also part of your mission, aren't they?" Yamato asks me.

"Now why would you say that Captain Yamato? I don't have an individual mission like you or Sai." I say and he freezes as I smirk slightly at my words. "I'm not stupid Captain Yamato, you were placed on this team for a reason and so was Sai, otherwise, there would be another Jonin filling in and I'd be placed on this team with out me having to put myself here." I say to him and Sai and Yamato stare at me shocked. "Anyways, teams are teams, I'm fine with this mashup." I say to them and then Naruto objects to being on a team with Sai and I sweat drop as he goes on and Sakura nods along with him and I get up with a small shrug and I leave them to do their thing and I head outside onto the balcony and I stand off to the side while sitting on the railing and I pull one leg up to my chest and I rest one arm on my knee.

The wind gets worse and my hair flies to the left of me as I sit there, concentrating on our surroundings. My eyes fall shut as I concentrate.

"Tatsu, what are you doing out here?" Naruto asks coming out and I open my eyes as I look up.

"Something felt off, its just a storm, go back inside." I say and he nods unsure and heads back inside while I stay where I'm at.

I look up at the sky as clouds pass by swiftly and they cover the moon. I stay under the shelter of the roof as I sit there and it starts to rain and Yamato comes out and see's me staring at the rain calmly.

"You should come inside and get some sleep." Yamato says standing next to me.

"Somethings off and I can't place my finger on it, I've felt this chakra before, its slowly getting closer to Tenchi Bridge." I say and Yamato tenses as I look at the rain with a slight confused look and I hold my palm facing upwards towards the clouds and I shoot my wind style chakra into the air and it clears the clouds out.

"How?" Yamato asks shocked.

"I have four nature properties, Water being my main one, Wind being my second, lightning being my third and fire being my fourth, all I simply did was use my Wind Style to get rid of the rain around us." I say as I get off the railing and I head inside. I walk over to my bag and I lay down sideways, using my bag as a pillow and I face the wall and I fall asleep.
