The Next Day - Tatsuyu's POV

"Tatsuyu, I need you to go with Ibiki to retrieve the injured at the Land of Tea and give Jirocho this for me as well." Lady Tsunade says handing me a scroll.

"Alright." I say and I leave with Ibiki.

"If you can, stay out of the way as much as possible as I get the injured on the boat." Ibiki says to me.

"That won't be a problem." I say to him in a calm tone.

After about 30 minutes we board the boat and leave and after a while we get to the Land of Tea and I jump off the side of the boat.

"Hey!" Ibiki protests.

"You wanted me out of the way and I have to deliver this to Lord Jirocho." I say to Ibiki who grumbles in annoyance.

I walk over to Lord Jirocho and I hold the scroll out to him.

"Hello Tatsuyu, its been a while, what's this?" Lord Jirocho asks me.

"A scroll from Lady Tsunade." I say to him and he takes the scroll from me.

"Do you know what's inside?" Lord Jirocho asks me.

"No." I say to him.

"Oh, hey, its you." The boy from a couple days ago says to me.

I look at him for a second. "If that was all Lord Jirocho, I should be going now." I say to Lord Jirocho who nods and I turn around and I jump back onto the boat next to Naruto and Sakura.

"What are you doing here anyways Tatsuyu?" Sakura asks me.

"Delivering a message for Lady Tsunade." I say to her and she nods.

After a while, we get back to the village I head to Lady Tsunade's office to report.

"You finished?" Lady Tsunade asks me.

"Yes, the message was delivered with out any problems, the only person seriously injured is Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto have minor injuries, but that's it, Ibiki is taking Sasuke to the hospital now for treatment." I say to her and she nods.

"Good job, you get the rest of the day off, go home and rest." Lady Tsunade says to me and I nod.

"Alright." I say and I go home.

"Tatsu, is that you?" TenTen asks from the living room.

"Yeah." I say as I remove my ninja sandals and I walk to the living room to see her, Neji and Lee. "I feel like I should ask about this." I say to her as I lean on the door frame.

"We're just discussing our training regimen after Lee is better." TenTen says to me and I nod. "By the way, did you know you look like an insomniac with no emotion?" TenTen asks me and I nod.

"I know, I'm heading to my room now." I say and TenTen starts pushing me there.

"Ok." She says to me with a weird grin and I raise an eyebrow at her, clearly confused. "You get some rest." TenTen says to me.

"Ok then, your acting strange, but ok." I say and I walk into my room and she shuts the door. I change into my pajama's and I lay on my bed reading until I fall asleep.

The Next Day

I hear yelling and I roll over onto my back and I look out my window to see Naruto and Shikamaru there. I cover my eyes for a second before I force myself up and I walk over to the window and I open it. "What do you want?" I ask.

"The three of us have a C-Rank." Naruto says to me with a grin.

I look up at the time to see its around 10 in the morning and I sigh. "Fine, I'll be at the gates in 20." I say and the two nod and leave.

I walk into my bathroom and I change. I brush out my hair and I mess it up a but to look normal and I walk to the door. I put on my ninja sandals and I run to the gates.

"Alright, so what's the mission?" I ask the two rookies.

"We're to deliver this to the West Out Post and since neither of us know our way there, Lady Tsunade is sending you with us." Shikamaru says to me and I nod.

"Alright." I say and I lead the way to the West Outpost and the two deliver the message and we head back to the village.

"Alright, if that was all, I'm heading back home." I say to the two and they nod.

"That was all." Shikamaru says to me and I head back to my apartment to see, Lee, Neji and TenTen on the couches, asleep.

I stare at them for a second before I sigh and grab the spare blankets and I cover them. "You guys will catch cold if you sleep with out blankets." I say and I walk into the kitchen and I make myself breakfast.

"Tatsu, what are you doing up?" TenTen asks half asleep.

"Its 11 o'clock TenTen, how late were you guys up?" I ask her.

"Late." She answers and yawns.

"Go back to sleep if that's the case." I say to her and she nods and goes back to the living room.

I eat my breakfast and I head to my bedroom to change into a dark blue tank top and black leggings with my ninja sandals and pouches. I walk out of the apartment and I head to the training grounds to see Guy-Sensei training against a dummy. 

"Ahh, the youthful Tatsuyu has decided to train today!" Guy-Sensei says to me with a grin.

I watch him for a second before I nod once and he grins.

"Spar with me Youthful Tatsuyu!" Guy-Sensei says to me with a grin.

"Why not, I have nothing better to do." I say and he nods and we start Tai-Jutsu sparring.

"You are a very skilled indeed Tatsuyu!" Guy-Sensei says as I punch him into a tree.

"That's because of all the harsh training I've endured when training with you and the others." I say to him.

The Next Day

I get woken up by someone yelling and I get up, grabbing my katana and I walk over to the window with an angered aura and I open the window to see Shikamaru and Naruto. "What, the hell, do you want, so early?" I ask annoyed.

"Sasuke has run away from the village." Shikamaru says to me.

"And?" I ask.

"We need you to come help retrieve him." Naruto says to me.

"No, you can do it, with Neji, I spent most of yesterday sparring with Guy-Sensei and I'm sore and tired and annoyed, not to mention, I feel like a thousand shinobi ran over me." I say and I close the window, but Naruto opens it again and I scowl at him, making him shut the window and the two boys run.

I sigh and lay back down and I fall back to sleep.

Later that day

"Tatsuyu Senju, wake up."

"Who the hell is in my room and why?" I ask annoyed.

"I'm just an ANBU, Lady Tsunade has requested you at the hospital immediately." The ANBU says to me and disappears.

I sigh in annoyance and I get up and change and I run to the hospital to see her walking inside and I run to catch up. "You wanted me?" I ask her.

"Yes, help Shizune with Neji, he's got a hole through his chest that needs threaded together carefully." Lady Tsunade says to me and I nod and go to the room I know she's in and Shizune looks up.

"Good your here." Shizune says to me and I nod. "Sit down and do these hand signs, and be very delicate with your chakra." Shizune says showing me the hand signs and I nod.

"Right." I say and I sit across from her and I do the hand signs simultaneously with her and we focus on healing Neji.

After a while we finish and I stare at him for a second before I sigh and get up.

"Alright that is all." Shizune says to me and I nod and we walk out to see TenTen, Lee and Guy-Sensei.

"How is he?" TenTen asks me.

"He's fine." I say and the three sigh in relief.

"That's good." Lee says to me and Shizune nods in agreement.

"I'll go inform Lady Tsunade." Shizune says and I nod and she leaves.

"Can we see Neji?" Guy-Sensei asks me and I shake my head.

"Not yet, he needs his rest, that idiot also used an extensive amount of chakra." I say to him.

"We aren't that loud." Guy-Sensei says to me and I look at him unamused.

"You guys are loud." I say to him and TenTen nods. "So are you TenTen." I say and she sulks. "Neji needs his rest, so leave him be for now." I say and they reluctantly nod and leave.

A Couple Days Later

I hear a crash outside the hospital in Naruto's hospital room and I run down the halls and I walk into his room to see Jiraiya on the window sill and I sigh. "You morons better not cause any trouble." I say to the two and they look at me shocked.

"Tatsuyu." Naruto says shocked and I walk over and hit him on the head.

"You should be resting and you Jiraiya, should speak to Lady Tsunade about his training before you go crazy doing it." I say to them and they laugh nervously as I cross my arms over my chest.

"Come on, come on, be nice and not tell Tsunade, please?" Jiraiya asks me.

I narrow my eyes at him and Jiraiya sweats nervously and I sigh. "Fine, but still." I say to him.

"I know, I know, I will." Jiraiya says to me and I nod.

"So three years is it? I'll do what I can to help, not training wise, but information wise." I say and Jiraiya nods.

"Thanks Tatsuyu, your a life saver." Jiraiya says to me.

"Don't make me regret my decision, Sasuke is part of the Leaf Village, I didn't go on the rescue mission because I told Shikamaru and Choji off, due to me, feeling like crap because the day before I spent mostly sparring with Guy-Sensei, no one but Kakashi and the rest of my team knows how painful that is." I say and Jiraiya laughs.

"Alright, I'll try to take you on some of my research missions if possible, but that's up to Tsunade." Jiraiya says to me and I nod.

"What? Why does Tatsuyu get to leave the village so much?" Naruto complains.

"Because unlike you, I'm Chunin." I say to him and Naruto sulks.

I sit with Naruto for a while, talking with him after Jiraiya leaves and Sakura comes in and we look at each other confused.

"Tatsuyu why are you here?" Sakura asks me.

"I was just talking with Naruto, why are you here Sakura?" I ask her.

"I was gonna come talk to Naruto." Sakura says to me and I get up.

"Well, I've said what I wanted to, I should go check on Neji." I say and Sakura nods.

I walk to Neji's room and I open the door to see him sitting up and looking out the window and then he looks at me as I lean on the door frame with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Hello Tatsuyu." Neji greets.

"Your lucky, I kept Guy, Lee and TenTen away from you so you could rest and get better." I say to him and he nods in thanks and attempts to get up. "Don't get up just yet, you still have to recover your strength, you were pretty beat up, if it weren't for Shizune's expert medical Nin-Jutsu, you'd be dead right now, you had a hole through your chest on top of that." I say and Neji sighs and stays sitting. "I've been working here at the hospital for a couple days now, mainly because of you and the rookies, you need to protect your blind spot somehow." I say to Neji.

"I can't exactly do that." Neji says to me.

"Why not?" I ask him.

"Do you want me to wear full body armor?" Neji asks me annoyed.

I sigh. "Just start wearing your mesh armor again." I say to him and he snorts, slightly and ignores what I just said and I stand up straight. "Well then, I'll be going now." I say and I walk out of the room and I shut the door.

I walk down the halls and I walk down the steps and I walk out of the hospital.

I look up at the window where Naruto's room is and I walk back to the apartment and I walk to my bedroom.

"Tatsu, how is Neji?" TenTen asks me.

"Rude, insensitive, jerky, ignorant, stupid, shall I go on?" I ask her.

"Then does that mean we can see him now?" TenTen asks me.

"Go ahead, knock yourself out, he won't listen to me." I say and she nods with a grin and leaves in a hurry. "That girl must really like him." I say and I smile amused. "Must be nice." I say and I change into my missions clothes and I jog to Lady Tsunade's office and I knock.

"Come in." She says to me.

I walk in and she smirks.

"Good, your here." Lady Tsunade says and Jiraiya smirks at me.

"I figured you wanted me." I say to her and she nods.

"Your going with Jiraiya, Naruto and Sakura to start tracking down Sasuke." Lady Tsunade says to me and I nod.

"Alright, when do we leave?" I ask.

"Sunset." Jiraiya says to me with a grin and I nod.

"Alright, your dismissed Tatsuyu." Lady Tsunade says to me and I nod.

"See ya at Sunset." Jiraiya says to me with a grin and I walk out with a small wave.

I head home and I make myself dinner and I eat and once sunset hits I head to the gates with my bag and I see Sakura, Naruto and Jiraiya there.

"What?" Sakura and Naruto ask shocked and I smile.

"I'll be joining you guys on this mission, via request of Jiraiya and Lady Tsunade." I say and the two nod unsure and I look at Jiraiya who grins.

"Hey Tatsuyu, you look like Master Jiraiya." Sakura points out as we walk.

"He is my God-Father." I say and that shocks her. "He's also my Jutsu teacher." I say to her.

"Yep." Jiraiya says with a grin.

We walk for a long time and we get to a town, a ghost town.

"Alright, hand over your money Naruto, Tatsuyu." Jiraiya says to us.

I smile. "I didn't bring mine." I say and he stares at me shocked.

Naruto grumbles and hands over his frog and Sakura holds her wallet out to him and he takes them and heads into town.

"Did you really not bring your money Tatsuyu?" Sakura asks me.

"I did bring it, I just don't want him spending the money I earned from all the C-Ranks I've done the past couple weeks." I say to her.

I cross my arms over my chest and we wait for a while and then I see Jiraiya running towards us.

"Guys, we have to run!" Jiraiya yells as he runs towards us.

"What trouble did you get into now?" Naruto asks him.

"No time to explain." Jiraiya says and the two talk more and we end up running.

"Baka." I say to Jiraiya after lose them and I hit Jiraiya on the head multiple times.

"Sorry." Jiraiya says to me.

I sigh in annoyance and I cross my arms over my chest and we head to the next town.
