A Week Later - Tatsuyu's  POV

I walk with Lady Tsunade and Shizune to meet up with Naruto and Jiraiya.

"Could you walk any slower?" Lady Tsunade asks me.

I cross my arms over my chest and I continue walking. "Your just too eager, calm down." I say and we get to the gates to see Jiraiya and Naruto there.

"Ooo, I smell women coming." Jiraiya says, not looking at us.

"I'll punch you if you even try anything." I say and he freezes.

"Hello Tatsuyu, Tsunade and Shizune." Jiraiya says nervously.

We head out and after a while we come across a hot springs place.

"We should stop here." Lady Tsunade says with a grin.

I sigh. "You can, I'm going back to the village, I want to make sure Lee didn't make his condition any worse." I say and Shizune looks at me confused. "Guy-Sensei's favorite student Rock Lee, the Red Head from the Sand used his One Tails Sand to crush Lee's left arm and leg, making him unable to be a Shinobi." I say to her and Shizune nods.

I continue walking, ignoring Jiraiya who's trying to get my attention to go in.

"They have comfortable beds in the hotel room." Lady Tsunade says to me.

"And I have a comfortable bed back in my apartment." I say to her.

"But there's room service." Lady Tsunade says and I bolt down the road. "TATSUYU!" She yells at me.

"I'M GOING BACK TO THE VILLAGE TEMPTRESS!" I yell at her and I run all the way back to the village to see Guy anxiously waiting.

"Tatsuyu, where's Lady Tsunade?" Guy-Sensei asks.

"Calm down, you know that road that leads to a town with a really good Hot Spring and Casino's? Yeah, everyone's there." I say to him and Guy-Sensei nods and takes me to where Kakashi is and I sweat drop. "For someone with the Sharigan, you'd think he'd see through Itachi's illusion." I say as I make the release sign and I tap his forehead and he relaxes.

"It was that simple?" Kurenai asks shocked.

"To release the after affects of the Gen-Jutsu, yes, but not enough to wake him up, Lady Tsunade can take care of the rest." I say and Guy-Sensei sighs in relief. "I'm gonna go find Lee to make sure he isn't training." I say and I walk out of the room and I walk to where I believe Lee will be and I see him there, tossing petals into the water. "Hey Lee." I say to him with a wave and he looks over at me, in shock.

"Tatsu." Lee says shocked.

I lean on the railing next to him, backwards with my arms crossed. "Should you really be walking?" I ask him and Lee frowns.

"I've been doing rehabilitation the nurses say to take it easy and not walk so much." Lee says and I nod.

"Well, Lady Tsunade is on her way back to the village, I should warn you, she's blunt and a bit harsh, but she knows what's best, if she tells you to stop being a Shinobi, she's just trying to keep you from doing too much to make your condition worse, there is a surgery that could fix you, but that's a 50 50 chance of success, your life hangs between life and death during the surgery, if anything were to go wrong, you'd die." I say to him and Lee looks down. "But, if it were to be a success, you'd go through a lot of rehabilitation and you'd be a shinobi again." I say to him and Lee's fist clenches around the crutch that's keeping him up.

"If she were to suggest the surgery, what should I do?" Lee asks.

"I don't have a say in this, your life is at risk with this surgery." I say and he nods and I get up. "You want to come with me to find TenTen and Neji?" I ask him.

"No, I think I'll stay here for a while longer." Lee says to me and I nod. "Thanks Tatsu, I'm not sure I would have handled Lady Tsunade talking like that without your warning."

I smile at him. "Its no problem, after all, we're teammates, and I wanted to warn you about my Cousin's bluntness, she's like and older, more carefree version of me with blonde hair and brown eyes." I say and Lee nods. I walk into the forest and to training ground 9 and I find Neji there training his Byakugan and I'm in his blind spot and I smirk and I creep up behind him. "NEJI!" I yell in his ear and he jumps about 10 feet in the air in surprise and I laugh.

"Tatsuyu!" He says annoyed and I stifle my laughter to giggling.

"That was too easy." I say and he rolls his eyes at me.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were going to find Lady Tsunade." Neji asks.

"I did, she's on her way to the village with Jiraiya, Naruto, Shizune and TonTon." I say and he nods.

"Spar with me." Neji says and I sigh and get into position and we spar back and forth with him using Gentle Fist and me using my chakra infused punches and kicks.

After a while TenTen breaks us apart and scolds us while we breath heavily from the amount of chakra we used.

"I'm, done!" I say as I fall on my back and TenTen laughs while Neji chuckles.

"You couldn't have used that much chakra." TenTen says and I point to the sky.

"We've been sparring since noon and its 5 now." I say and TenTen sweat drops.

"How can you both last so long?" TenTen asks.

"We're too stubborn to give up." I say and she sighs.

"Well Lady Tsunade is back!" TenTen says with a grin and I raise a thumbs up.

"Uh huh, I just spent a month and a half with her, she's incredibly blunt." I say and TenTen grabs my hand and pulls me up into a sitting position.

"She's you cousin, I wouldn't be surprised." Neji says and I roll my eyes.

"I'm not that blunt." I say and he raises an eyebrow and I get up. "I am blunt, but not as blunt as Lady Tsunade." I say to him. "Well, I'm going home, after she becomes Hokage, she's gonna turn us all into slaves for missions." I say and I head back to the apartment with TenTen asking questions and I answer to the best of my ability. I see Lady Tsunade as we pass the hospital and she raises an eyebrow at me and I walk over with TenTen behind me.

"Tatsuyu, who is this?" Lady Tsunade asks.

"My Teammate and Roommate and a little sister like figure, TenTen." I say and TenTen smiles at her nervously. "She's idolized you for years." I say and TenTen hits me upside the head. "Hey, what was that for?" I ask her.

"Your so blunt, you didn't have to tell her that." TenTen says to me.

"And?" I ask and she sighs annoyed at me.

"Well, I'm gonna go in the hospital now, see you later Tatsuyu." Lady Tsunade says to me with a smile and heads inside.

The two of us head back to our apartment and I head to my room.

I grab a book off my shelf and I lay on my bed reading.

"Tatsuyu, Ino is here, I'm heading out with her for a bit!" TenTen calls.

"Ok!" I yell back and I continue to read.

After a while I end up falling asleep.

3 Days Later

"You wanted to see me?" I ask as I walk in and I see Shikamaru and all the other procters from the Exams and Lady Tsunade.

"Yes." Lady Tsunade says and I stand next to Shikamaru. "From what I've heard, your both capable of becoming Chunin, heck, Tatsuyu, your capable of Jonin." Lady Tsunade says and I cross my arms over my chest. "Since I have no say in the matter, all your proctors and Lord Hokage were going to recommend you guys for Chunin, so, Tatsuyu, Shikamaru, you guys from now on are Chunin." Lady Tsunade says to us we smirk.

"Alright." I say and she hands over our flack jackets.

"Now, Tatsuyu, I have a C-Rank mission for you." Lady Tsunade says and I sweat drop.

"I knew it." I say and Shikamaru leaves.

"Your just escorting the Master Bridge Builder Tazuna to the Land of Tea and then take him back to his home in the Land of Waves." Lady Tsunade says to me and I sigh.

"Alright." I say and I walk to the gates to see an old drunkard as I put my flack jacket in a sealing scroll, putting it in my pouch.

"Another snot nosed brat is guarding me, great." The old man says annoyed.

"Is Tazuna here?" I ask Izumo and Kotesu.

"He's the old guy you just completely ignored." Izumo says to me.

I nod and I look at the old guy. "My name is Tatsuyu Senju." I say to the old guy.

"Tazuna, the Master Bridge Builder." The old guy says to me and I nod.

"Lets get going." I say and he follows we start walking. We get to a tea house soon enough and Tazuna starts complaining about his feet. "Lets go inside and get something to eat then, so you can rest and restore your energy, we still have a while to go." I say and Tazuna nods.

We head inside and we sit down, the waitress comes over and she looks at us and Tazuna orders what he wants and then the waitress looks at me.

"I'll just have a water." I say and she looks at me confused, but nods and then leaves.

I place my chin on my hand as I look out the window as a boy walks over and Tazuna grunts.

"What do you want?" I ask him.

"Your heart." The boy tries the pick up line to me.

"Go to hell." I say turning my head away from him.

"Oh come on, give a guy a chance, your very pretty with the long, snow white hair." The boy says and I look at him unamused.

"I don't think you heard me the first time, Go to hell, I'm not interested in someone who uses horrible pick-up lines in the middle of a Tea House." I say and Tazuna is just finding this amusing, since he's not leaving. "Kami, I swear I'd rather be in the graces of the Akatsuki." I mutter and I show the boy my Forehead protector. "I'm a Leaf Chunin, I'm on a mission, leave me alone, I'm also not in the best mood at the moment." I say and the boy narrows his eyes at me.

"I see." The boy says and shows me a crossed out version of the Leaf Headband. "I used to be a Leaf Genin." The boy says in my ear.

I sigh. "I'll be a moment Tazuna, this boy can't get it through his head that I don't want to talk to him." I say and I drag the boy out and I hold my Katana to his neck. "Look, I'm gonna be blunt, I don't like you, nor will I ever will, possibly, so your going to leave me alone and get a move on." I say and he just tchs and leaves and I walk back inside and I sit down.

"How'd you get rid of the boy?" Tazuna asks.

"Told him off." I say and my water comes along with Tazuna's food and once he's finished, we leave.

We get to the Land of Tea after a while and I escort Tazuna around for a bit.

"Ah, Tatsuyu, how good to see you again."

I turn around, recognizing that voice. "Lord Jirocho." I say and he smirks at me.

"I saw your cousin Lady Tsunade over a week ago, it seems she was heading back to the village to become Hokage." Lord Jirocho says to me and I nod with a smile.

"She became Hokage not long ago, she's also ordering us around like soldiers and using us to do mission after mission, she's a slave driver." I say to him and Lord Jirocho chuckles.

"Yeah, that sounds like her, by the way, what are you doing in the Land of Tea so close to the racing tournament?" Lord Jirocho asks me.

"Escorting the Master Bridge Builder as a C-Rank Mission." I say and Lord Jirocho looks behind me.

"Where is he?" Lord Jirocho asks me.

"Shit, he walked on with out me, that damn bastard." I say and I turn on my heel and the two of us walk and we find him looking at building tools and I sweat drop. "Don't leave with out warning Tazuna." I say to him and he raises an eyebrow.

"Oh, the brat is back, I thought you left." Tazuna says to me.

"I know why Naruto had a tough time with this geezer now, no respect at all, he's more blunt than Lady Tsunade." I mutter and Lord Jirocho nods in agreement.

"What, the short blonde haired stupid brat?" Tazuna asks me.

"You the part that he's stupid." I say to him and Lord Jirocho sighs and nods in agreement. "His hair is actually wheat field yellow and he isn't that short." I say with a roll of my eyes.

After a day I see Naruto get here with Sasuke and Sakura.

"TATSUYU?" Naruto yells shocked.

I blink. "I'm busy, go away." I say and he falls on the ground and sulks as I turn around.

"That was harsh." Sasuke says to me.

"I'm on my own mission, I don't really have time to dilly dally when my client disappeared with out warning." I say and I continue walking and I find him by the tools again and finally he buys something.

"Lets leave this place brat, I want to go home as soon as possible." Tazuna says to me and I just nod and follow him out and after about a days walk, we get to a bridge and I walk him down it where a young lady with long dark hair waits with a boy with dark hair.

"Father! The young lady says as she hugs him.

"Your free to go now, we don't need anymore help." Tazuna says waving me off.

"Jeez, next time Lady Tsunade wants to send me on an escort mission with someone rude, I'll decline." I say as I turn on my heel.

"Thank you for bringing my Grandpa home safe." The boy says as he latches onto my leg, hugging me.

"Yeah, no problem kid." I say and he grins and lets go. "See ya." I say and I run down the bridge using my Tai-Jutsu speed and after an hour or so, I make it back to the village.

"And your back." Izumo says to me and I nod.

I head to the Hokage office and I knock.

"Enter."

I walk in and Lady Tsunade smiles at me. "Mission successful." I say and she holds out another paper.

"Another C-Rank, I need you to pick up some supplies from the Land of Hot Springs, they're Medicinal Herbs that grow near hot springs that are supposed to heal cuts when made into a poultice." Lady Tsunade says to me and I sweat drop as Kakashi walks in.

"My mission was successful." Kakashi says to her.

"Here, another S-Rank Mission." Lady Tsunade says handing him a paper.

Me and Kakashi sigh.

"Your a slave driver." I say as I take my C-Rank paper.

"Well we have to catch up on missions and you need more mission experience Tatsuyu, Guy hardly let you guys go on any C-Rank missions." Lady Tsunade says to me.

"This is the tenth one this week." I say to her and she sweat drops.

"And this is the fifth S-Rank Mission in the past two weeks." Kakashi says and we laughs nervously.

"I'm going, but first I getting something to eat." I say and Lady Tsunade smirks.

"Eat on the way there, you have 20 minutes to leave the village Tatsuyu." Lady Tsunade says to me.

I walk out with a sigh and Kakashi follows me. "Jeez, she hasn't had any Sake in a while, I can tell." I say and Kakashi laughs nervously.

"Yeah, well, we should get going." Kakashi says to me and I nod.

"I'll just stop at a tea house, again, for the tenth time in the past ten missions, I want real food, and my bed, and my book, and my room." I say and Kakashi nods in agreement as we walk to the gate.

"Tatsu? Where are you going?" TenTen asks and I sulk and she steps back. "Someone clearly has not slept in a while." TenTen says to me.

"My cousin, is a slave driver." I say and she nods.

"I know, this is the tenth time she's had me deliver stuff across the village this month." TenTen says to me.

"So, lucky." Me and Kakashi say and we hang our heads.

"What do you mean?" TenTen asks.

"This is the tenth C-Rank mission she's sent me on this week." I say and TenTen sweat drops at that.

"And the fifth S-Rank mission in the past two week." Kakashi says to her.

"Well, I'd hate to be in your shoes, good luck, after all, your Chunin and Jonin, remember?" TenTen asks as she runs.

I pull it together. "After this mission, I'm taking the weekend off, I don't care if she protests." I say and Kakashi nods in agreement.

We head our separate ways after we exit the gates and I get to the Land of Hot Springs after a while and someone is waiting at the border with an Akatsuki cloak and I pull out my Katana and get in a defensive stance as the person turns toward me.

"Tatsuyu."

I see it to be Itachi and he holds his hand up, meaning he's not here to pick a fight and I relax my stance. "Itachi." I say with a nod.

"I heard there's a new Hokage and it's your cousin." Itachi says to me.

"And? She's still a slave driver." I say and Itachi nods. "Now, could you kindly move, I need to pick up some supplies from the Hot Springs Village." I say and his Sharigan activates.

"Not yet." Itachi says and I immediately look down at his feet like Guy-Sensei told me to if I were to ever fight him again. "You using what Guy taught you." Itachi says to me.

"No duh, I'd rather not get caught in a Gen-Jutsu where I'd spill everything I know about the village, I'm not stupid." I say to him.

"Your smart." Itachi says to me.

I frown slightly. "What do you want?" I ask.

"To ask how Sasuke is after I beat him up." Itachi says to me.

"He's fine, he's on a mission right now, now can I pass, I've been doing mission after mission, with no breaks, not to mention I haven't eaten anything sustainable in the past 7 days, so, move aside please, I won't ask again." I say and his feet poof and I look around, but I don't see him or any Sharigan eyes.

I get the supplies and once I get back to the village and hand them in, I head up to Lady Tsunade's office and I knock on the door.

"Come in."

I walk in and Lady Tsunade smirks at me, readying another paper.

"Stop, I'm taking the weekend off, I'm dead tired, I need sustainable food and I need to relax before my coolness wears off to nothingness and the raging emotions in my soul, flood out." I say and Lady Tsunade sweat drops. "By the way, I picked up something from the Hot Springs, bottle of Sake, for you, so cool your nerves and stop using us as slaves to do you bidding as you see fit." I say as I set the bottle on her desk and she looks at it like it was the most amazing thing in the world.

"You get the weekend off, but Monday, you'll be working double time!" Lady Tsunade says and I walk back to my apartment and I make myself actual food.

I read as I eat and then I shower and change into my pajama's and I lay on the couch in the living room reading until I fall asleep.
