The Seleucid army is a name that brings fear and sometimes excitement to people. When they delivered that awful news I quickly sent a message to mama. They led us out of the lecture hall into a bagger 288 it was quite a large car. We all sat in opposite directions. On my lane sat a girl on my right which had an auburn hair and two guys one with blonde hair and the other with brown hair both on my left and a soldier that sat I'm the middle and opposite us sat two girls one with a green dyed hair and the other with a strawberry blonde and a guy with black hair with glasses. I did not want to know their names so I'll just identify them through their hair.

The two girls sitting close to each other kept talking like they did not care that they had been taken while the quirky guy with the glasses kept fidgeting.

"Psst! Psst! Hey when are we going to reach I'm kinda hungry" the girl next to me kept pestering the soldier but he didn't pay mind to her.
I closed my eyes drifting to my thoughts.

Hope mama isn't worried too much.

The car came to a stop indicating our arrival. When we all came down I was not prepared to see the big headquarters of the Seleucid though I was supprised I didn't show it.

"Wow! this place is huge"
"Yeah"
"So big!"
"Ha! That's what she said"

"Let's go in some people await your arrival"
The lieutenant led us in while I noticed that the remaining soldiers stayed outside.

"Good morning lieutenant, Mr Chernik have been waiting for you, he is present with the remaining board in the conference room" the receptionist informed. The lieutenant nodded leading us to the conference room when we entered I could feel the gaze of 3 people on us.

"Lieutenant Homos" a tall man said in a gruff voice.

The lieutenant nodded acknowledging. "Mr Chernik, these are the students as requested"

I watched as Mr Chernik dismissed the lieutenant with his hand and the lieutenant left the room.

"Yo! What's up with all these" the blonde guy said.

"Sit down" Mr Chernik demanded ignoring the guy we all took a sit at the rounded table.

"Why are we here man because I sure as hell know there's nothing gifted about us or maybe only little geek boy over there" that was stupid and childish but I kept quiet.

"Sit down boy or I'll make you" the threat was evident in the strangers voice making the Blondie sit down, I did not even notice he was seated there but he looked in his early thirties and had littered scars in face that made his appearance look harsh.

"I am Doctor Klaus, to my left as you know is Mr Chernik and to my right is Mrs Mercy, we form the board of Seleucus. The founders of the Seleucid dynasty. We supervise, control and manage the affairs of the Seleucid army. You all are here today because you are chosen and gifted based on the database that has been conducted recently, starting from tomorrow you all will be staying at the Seleucus camp and will be trained accordingly and you'll be separated into groups with either one of us as your mentor all introductions will be made tomorrow as of now you are free to go home and pack. Any questions?"

The green haired girl raised her hand gingerly.

"Uh why do you need an army when there is no war or fighting there's practically peace everywhere" that made sense normally when the gifted are chosen it's not as rapid as this and it's mostly done quietly.

Mrs Mercy chuckled answering, "good question there has been a otherworldly threat and you all had to be summoned immediately"

Mr Chernik stood up "Alright! If that's all, your parents have been informed of these great opportunity and are waiting outside for you all"

"So like we don't have a choice in these? Your practically sending us on a suicide mission to kill some goddamn aliens" the brown haired guy said in a loud voice and I heard a few 'yeahs' backing him up. I scoffed internally they didn't speak until the guy spoke up.

The board of Seleucus all left the room ignoring their protest and I followed in suit going outside wanting to see my mama.

"Hey! weirdo can't you see we're opposing what these old fucks are doing to us. Why aren't you doing anything" I know he was talking to me  I really don't know what his deal is but I kept walking till someone turned me around roughly and saw it was the strawberry Blondie.

"Can't you see he's talking to you dumbo" really? Dumbo? Ha! I think she was looking at herself when trying to insult me. I shrugged her hand off my shoulder and turned to leave.

"Yeah, run or whatever skinny bitch" one thing I hate about human beings is their ability to spill nonsense out of their mouth and act smug about it. I turned facing the two idiots.

"If you want to say shit at least don't look like a piece of shit" I walked away not wanting to deal with them any more knowing that the board of Seleucus were still present and had heard our conversation.

As I reached the exit I heard my Mama's voice. "Alcmena! Bambi?" She rushed to me.

"Aw running to your mother now are we? Such a coward. Let me guess no dad guess he left a coward like you blackie" the blonde guy said mockingly and he was beginning to get on my nerves.

"Shut up! boy" my mama said holding my hand.

The idiot scoffed.
"Whatever fatty at least I don't have a daughter as a coward".

It's one thing to mess with me and it's another to mess with my mama. And this boy messed with the wrong person.

I could feel my veins become prominent changing to purple and the sizzling between my fingers could be felt.

"No, no Alcmena don't! Remember don't take what they say to heart... Bambi? Oh no"

"Oh you'll wish you never had a child"
