PS This song is so old, back when there were boy bands for middle aged women. My mom loved these guys and it's still a nice song cheesy music video and all, the nostalgia is real though.

Skylar Evans and Grayson Kingsley's Wedding

*The Ceremony*

Pulling out his pocket watch Grayson checked the time for the umpteenth time today, half past noon. Everything was set all. Well as set as it could be on such short notice. The wedding itself was huge, almost like Grayson was compensating for being the last to wed. His hair was back to black today all the white dye finally out, matching his crisp fitted black suit and tie. Slipping the silver watch back into his pocket he noticed the ink smears on his hands and attempted in vain to wipe them off. He hadn't noticed them while he was rewriting his vows in the dressing room. They were never good enough for Skylar in his opinion, and now he had black ink splatters staining on his grey hands. Thankfully his tux was black otherwise the ink stains might've shown on it as well.

The sun was high they've have plenty of time til it went down to retreat to the reception. Grayson was stationed under chandelier beneath a stone dome on six pillars, each with white sheets and roses billowing around them. Simple, clean, and was visible from most angles of the 360° of seating in their outdoor cermony. It was supposed to be warm outside today but Grayson had given Skylar a longer sleeve dress just in case. All the family he could reach of hers was dragged out of bed stuffed into dress clothes and tossed into a carriage to attend today. They didn't look to happy with Grayson but he was sure theu'd be happy to see Skylar.

He'd pick up and out everything. The dress he chose himself and was eager to see it on her in person for the first time. It was white and pure, much like Skylar and very contrasting to Grayson. Crystals like snowflakes on the bodice and arms, sweetheart neckline, with a mermaid form fitting dress bottom. Grayson was 95% sure he'd love it so much he'd want to rip it off her.

So he waited until he finally did see her coming out with his father Robert guiding her down the rose petal walk way. The band played here come the bride to the beat of their steps and Grayson's heart incidently.

Technically speaking she'd only know about them getting hitched today for about 15 hours when he asked her to marry him. Grayson was holding the rings in a little heart shaped box in his pocket. She woke up with a wedding schedule on her side table, dress hanging on the door, and her engagement ring slipped onto her finger while she slept. A sparkling pear shaped diamond with rubies lining the silver band the inscription reading "no takebacks".

Hopefully this was a pleasant surprise. He'd ask her once she was close enough to see the smile splitting his face.

*The Reception*

Once the long slog through the ceremony was over and finished it was off to the reception and food. Grayson had opted not to serve any wine instead giving everyone water. Apparently he wanted them to remember every moment of his wedding. Kinda concieted if you ask me but it's what he wanted. Being served on the menu was the appetizer of garlic bread with bruschetta. Main entree was smoked salmon and bow tie spinach pasta. Desert being any one of the three, four tier, wedding cakes he ordered. Each cake a different flavor given he wasn't sure which Skylar would like more. Lemon cake with coconut icing, Chocolate fudge cake with butter peacan icing, or white chocolate raspberry marble cake with vanilla icing. All these laid out on the round tables of reception under a canopy of lights below the setting sun. The band and siren singer went on singing sappy love songs for the dancing parties.
