Chapter 34: The First & Last Seduction

Helooooo XD

I have nothing to say. Just, enjoy the chapter ;)

Lila POV

Lila had finally gotten rid of the presence of her competitors. Her one and only goal was to steal the prince, and these girls were not benefiting her at all. Everyone had been buying her act, but due to the sneaky Elite bluenettes, the prince had now hated her.

She slammed her door, dropping all her nightwear onto the floor with a big sigh. "Get me a dress," Lila spat, "a revealing one."

"I'll give him something he'll ever forget." Lila muttered, clenching her fists. The maid scurried to pick a bright orange dress, a small zipper attached to the back.

Lila slipped on the dress, threw on her high heels, and left her room with a huff. Breakfast was being sent to rooms, but Lila never ate hers anyway. Walking down the stairs, she searched for any signs of blonde hair and piercing emerald eyes.

"Adrien!" She exclaimed loudly, the prince whipping up his head. "Oh, hey Lila," he replied, polite as ever. She proceeded to pin him against the wall.

"Lila?" He persisted, Lila just dragging his arm to feel the zipper on her dress. "What is it," he added, patient as ever.

He finally lost this patience, and pushed her off gently. "Please, go enjoy your breakfast," he mumbled, still a bit shocked from the attempt of her flirting.

"Wait!" Lila finally shouted. "I want to make things right," she whispered nervously, "will you forgive me?"

"What does forgiving you mean?" Adrien shot quickly.

"Well, you could finally love me!" Lila smiled, Adrien avoiding her seductive gaze.

"Come on, I know that you are in love," Lila walked up closer, her high heels clicking on the marble. "Why else would I be in the Elite?"

She draped her arms on his shoulders, maintaining a small distance between her and the prince's lips. "One kiss? Only one?"

"No!" The prince pushed her off forcefully, glaring at her.

She still clung to his arm as he shook her grip off. "I'm sorry, Lila." He choked, not a drop of sympathy in his tone.

Lila ripped off the diamond necklace her gave her, smashing the jewel onto the floor. She swore under her breath, not able to get out all her frustration in her small fits. Her next thought burned her eyes with tears, but it was the truth...

She would never get the crown nor the prince.

Adrien POV

"Mr. Agreste, you seem like you're in quite a rush," Luka caught up with him, panting slightly.

"I am," he choked, continuing to flung papers off of his desk, "I need to find something now."

"Ah," the prince then breathed, grabbing the first pen he could get his hands onto.

"May I ask what you're doing?" Luka spoke cautiously, trying to avoid the judgement from sneaking into his tone.

"I'm getting rid of someone from the Elite," Adrien sniped, "I can not handle them anymore."

"It's only Monday!" Luka fought back. "What do you think 'I can not handle them anymore' means?" The prince scoffed, slamming a paper onto Luka's clipboard.

"But I need them gone."

"May I ask who?" Luka replied, grabbing the paper slowly and reading the name. "Lila Rossi," the prince finally answered, "she's leaving immediatly."

Marinette POV

"Miss," Zoey whisper-yelled, jolting Marinette awake, "you must read this."

"What is it?" Marinette's groaned, still half asleep. "

Your majesty let someone out early," Zoey rambled on, "he has never done anything like that throughout the competition..." Marinette took the paper, her eyes widening. "Lila!?"

"Well, that's a relief, she was a bit annoying," Marinette snuggled back into bed.

"But! You don't understand," Zoey breathed, Marinette sitting up once more.

"Once one of the Elite is taken out, that means the prince gets 5 days left," Zoey's breathing picked up, "that means one candidate elimination per day, so the ceremony will be-"

"SATURDAY!?" Marinette interrupted. Zoey rubbed her temples, trying to process the information herself.

Marinette's breathing quickened.

She had to make Adrien fall in love, with Kagami still around. Yeah, no chance in hell that would happen with the other sniping bluenette on Marinette's tail.

"You have a very good chance, miss," Zoey reminded, almost being able to read her thoughts. "He definitely likes you - why do you think you had so many close calls but he decided against it?"

"That means he has to eliminate one girl every day," Marinette ignored Zoey's last statement, focusing on the worst thing.

"Let's get you dressed," Zoey tried to change the topic, "maybe you can spend some time with him."

"Have you guys gone physically yet?" Zoey then added as Marinette practically choked.

She then threw her slipper at her, Marinette crawling back under the sheets.

"D-Does that matter!?" Marinette stammered.

"I'm just asking," Zoey smirked, "it's usually the next step in serious relationships."

"I...I know," Marinette felt her face droop, "but we have only been dating for ten months..."

"Yeah," Zoey started, "but, wasn't it the best 10 months of your life?"

"No," Marinette stuck her tongue out at Zoey's face-palm. "But, very close," she then added.

Zoey giggled. "You should do that next step," Zoey sighed, "it would mark your relationship as something much more serious and intimate."

Marinette was still red-faced. "You think so?"

"Of course," Zoey winked. "Trust me."

"I-I'll ask him tonight..." Marinette thought of a date idea, "a-after dinner! Right - after we go to dinner together."

"I'll book a room in the palace," Zoey smiled, Marinette thanking her.

Marinette slipped on a red day dress, all with see-through fabric. The skirt was draped at the waist, and flowed down to right above her knees.

"Good luck!" Zoey exclaimed before shutting the door.

***

Marinette got to the grand hall, looking for any signs of the lingering prince. "A-Adrien!" Marinette called, his face liting up as he recognized the tone.

"Princess," he smiled widely, "how are you this fine day?"

"I'm great," Marinette giggled, "though,  I was wondering if you wanted to go for dinner tonight?"

"If you want," she added quickly. "Of course, what time," Adrien signalled for Luka to write it down.

"How about 8 o'clock?" Marinette proposed as Luka nodded and scribbled it down. Luka didn't take a second glance at Marinette; was he still upset about the rejection that he made?

Marinette stiffened. She wasn't going to fall back into his arms, while Adrien's were open wide.

Especially not now. She needed to prove that she could love someone unconditionally; and that person was definitely the prince.

"I'll see you then!" Marinette waved as they parted ways.

She ran back to the room as Zoey squealed. "Eight o'clock then," Zoey squealed, "I must pick out the perfect dress!"

***

At 7:55, Marinette was about to leave.

Zoey had put her into a long flowing red dress. Black roses were embroidered with fine thread under the licorice-coloured belt, all popping on the red canvas that was her gown. The dress had a wrapped style, the v neck covering her chest and settling on her shoulders.

"Go! Before you're late!" Zoey ushered as Marinette ran in her heels.

She sprinted to the room she had booked, checking to make sure they had everything had been there on time. She let out a breath of relief; she was one time.

"Wow,"

Adrien smiled from behind as she turned around.

"You look breathtaking," Adrien kissed her cheek, admiring the room.

"T-Thanks," Marinette stammered, "I could say the same about you."

Adrien smiled at the compliment, "let's eat, shall we?" He pulled out a chair for her.

"I was surprised you got rid of Lila," Marinette sparked conversation.

"She was just getting on my nerves, and I didn't want to freak out at her," Adrien paused to clear his throat, "so I ultimately decided that kicking her from the competition was the best path."

Marinette felt a bit stiff as they continued to chat. The question echoed in her mind, she had practiced saying it; Zoey helping her figure out what to tell him.

"That was great," Adrien finished his meal, Marinette smiling.

"Are you okay? " Adrien asked cautiously, "you seem a bit tense."

"No, I'm fine," Marinette sucked in a breath, "well, there was one thing..."

"I, uhm," she cleared her throat, "I was thinking that now that there are only 5 girls if you would like to take the relationship to the next level-"

Adrien's eyes widened.

"-W-We don't have to of course! I was just wondering i-if you wanted to - and maybe you d-don't think that we are that intimate, and maybe you want to do it with K-Kagami-"

Adrien then laughed. "I didn't think you were that type, Marinette," he smiled, both of them standing up.

"D-Don't," Marinette steadied her voice, "do not be so surprised."

"I would love to, my dear," Adrien smiled.

Marinette's eyes slit. "Please don't call me that."

"My...Lady?"

Marinette smiled. "Better," she chimed.

He grabbed her hand. "Where are we going?" Marinette asked, following him.

"My chambers," he winked as she blushed, "unless you are the type to do it in the dining room-"

"ADRIEN-"

"Hmm, I never saw you as a table-type."

Marinette face-palmed her self, slapping his shoulder. "My goodness," she breathed, eyeing him up and down. "The prince really knows what to say."

"I agree," he purred, ignoring her eye roll. "But, no more delay," he then glanced back, "but, you want this right? You give me your consent?"

She giggled, "yes, of course."

***

Marinette smiled, cuddling next to Adrien. "That was..." Marinette trailed, looking at the ceiling.

"What, princess?" Adrien replied, twirling a strand of her hair.

"Perfect," she breathed, kissing him once more.
