The Wedding; Two Years Later

A/N:
*sigh* finally here, people. This story has been already published on Wattpad for over four years, which is unbelievable it has gone by that fast! As promised, here is the "ending" of Jack and Elsa's story. Thank you for the continuous support, and I will be publishing my new story Angel With a Shotgun and the short story If I Stay within the next few weeks. It's been a pleasure to write this story. Also, in the above attachment is what I imagined Elsa's wedding dress to look like. Here is what her coronation dress looks like (credit to japicasso)

•Elsa's POV•

"Elsa, quit slouching! We're making the final touches!" Emily says sharply.
The day has finally come. Two years of waiting, and it is finally here. My wedding day.

After Jack and I announced our engagement, we quickly got to work on repairing the castle and the country. We have slowly begun to dissolve the castes at a low rate, but starting from the bottom has taken a long time and a lot of work. Being a former Six myself, a lot of proposed plans (along with the aid of Toothiana) have been my job to work on.

Oh, that reminds me. How did the castle defeat the Southern rebels, you ask? It was all from the help of Toothiana. Her and the Northern rebel troops came in right when we needed it. They have helped with the rebuilding and dissolving as well.

Jack helps majorly, too, but he is still working on proposals to shift to the Sevens now that Eights are no more. We put off our marriage for awhile until we both agreed of a time when it would be best to have it.

Now the time has come.

I only picked three bridesmaids, Emily, Rapunzal, and Merida. We could never be closer. Punzie and Eugene (apparently Flynn isn't his real name) became the first citizens that were deemed casteless. They both could've gone wherever they wanted, but they chose to stay at the palace.

"If we can, Your Majesty," Raps had said two years ago,"I would like to be the future Princess's lady-in-waiting. If she'll have me." I remember how I couldn't contain my excitement. Rapunzal's belly is now very swollen; as it should be for seven months pregnant.

Emily is engaged to a Seven named Jamie; they are perfect for each other. Jamie had helped Emily back to the palace after she took a tumble off her horse in the same woods where Maddox and I were caught.

"Okay, okay, I'll quit slouching." I laugh, standing up straighter. Punzie smirks at me, adding a sly remark of her own. "After tonight, you'll be having trouble positioning anyway." I swat her with a loose hair pin, shaking my head in disbelief. I had chosen to make Punz my matron of honor.

As for Merida, I can't wait to be her bridesmaid at her wedding in a few months. Hiccup is Jack's best man. They've had a hard road too, but they are lovely together all the same.

Anna will carry me down the aisle, and so will Toothiana. I wanted them both to be a special part of this. Anna is the maid of honor, after all.

My dress is simple, but with a lace bodice and ruffles flowing out on the bottom. It even has sleeves that come off-the-shoulder. My bouquet is not too large, something I was adamant about not having. Jack knows me too well. He wanted to do the bouquet, so I let him. He did well incorporating pink and blue together.

"Okay, almost ready, my Lady?" Maddox says softly. She does a really good job as head maid.

She looks at me with tears in her eyes. After that attack that happened, there was many who didn't survive. My other maids, Leah and Leuh, did not. I miss them both terribly, but their memories are ever surrounding my heart.

Rapunzal, Emily, and Merida all wave at me as the bells ring and they start to make their way down the aisle one by one. I take a breath, trying my best to contain my nerves.

Anna smiles as she takes my hands, but not before adjusting my tiara. "You ready, sis?"

I barely have time to nod before another voice interrupts. "Are you ready, my Queen?" Gerda asks, a hint of a smile on her face. Oh, God, I forgot the coronation.

Jack had already had his coronation, so it would only be me having a coronation today. Queen...she would've been so delighted to have a daughter. I really, really miss her.

"You forgot about the Queen title, didn't you, El?" I groan. Anna still has a few years before she is crowned Queen of Arendelle, but she is engaged to an ice harvester named Kristoff. She was going to marry a prince named Hans, but he was such a douche...I don't wanna even go there.

I finally nod. "I am." We reach the end of the line before the doors to the church.

The music starts and Punz and Eugene walk out. Then it is Merida and Hiccup. Toothiana smiles, taking my right hand as Anna takes my left.

It is my turn. "Don't let me fall," I whisper.

"Never." Tooth and Anna say. We finally head down the aisle. God, so many people. We wanted to keep it a little more private than previous marriages, but it would be a shame not to invite all of the Selected girls. Jessica looks at me longingly; I wish her all the happiness. Then there is Maddox; my other maids should be here. Another spot that should be filled.

I finally look up and see Jack. He is decked out in his suit and crown, medals and all. He is smiling and blushing so much. I can see him mouth,'Beautiful,' and I blush. We finally make it to the end of the aisle.

"Hey, snowflake." He grins. "Shut up." I smile. It was a long, hard path for us, but we made it. I never imagined I would be here. Jack takes my hands, and we never let go of each other again.

* * *

Once upon a time, there was a young prince of a young country, Illèa. Each time a new prince, the heir, would come of age, they would hold a Selection. The Selection was a contest that selected thirty-five young women, each representing their province, in a contest to win the prince's heart. Or for some, the crown that came with it. To make it even worse, the corrupted country added castes so that each family was entitled to a job.

The Selection mainly picked the higher castes-the Twos, Threes, and Fours, and they would win the crown. It was mainly a beauty contest-but this Selection was different. Prince Jack's father, King Adgar, had allowed a Six into the pool to appease the lowers. He had no idea that this young lady, Elsa Arendelle, would win his heart. She hated the caste system, and she wanted nothing to do with the prince at first.

Then she fell for him. Hard. She realized who she was and who she wanted to be, and she accosted his proposal to be his bride. She didn't want to be the queen; however, maybe those who thought they aren't born to be leaders actually are.

They both became the country's leaders, and they have been at the country's helm for four years. They are putting an end to the caste systems, and there is peace in the country.

Today marks the occasion of Jack's 25th birthday, and little does he know his wife, Queen Elsa, has a special surprise for him...

"I wonder how the news of us having twins will be taken. What do you think of your daddy, Sigrid Avalon and Josef Agnarr? I think he'll love you."
