•Elsa's POV•
After a few minutes of discussion, the queen raised her voice to announce who would be working together for what kingdom. Me and Rapunzal shared a look, hoping we would get put together. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
"The ladies working for the Italian party are Lady Monique, Lady Artemis, and Lady Jessica." I clench my fists nervously, a wave of dizziness overcoming me. I had a funny feeling that I wouldn't necessarily like my group...
"The ladies working together for the kingdom of Arendelle are Lady Merida, Lady Kaya, and Lady Elsa." I hear Kaya groan as I look over at Rapunzal, and she shrugs as she slides a finger over her throat and sticks her tongue out. I couldn't help but snicker.
"Finally, the ladies for Swenday are Lady Rapunzal, Lady Janelle, and Lady Georgia." Gerda looks at each one of us carefully before she speaks. "Each group will have one day to look over any information about the country, and they will have three days to prepare everything, from decorum to drinks to food."
This is very important to the duties of a queen. While you are in groups, a queen doesn't have help. She has to prepare everything and plan everything, and usually within a lesser time span than the days we're giving you. Good luck!" Queen Avalon says.
Of course, Kaya has to find something to say. She crosses her arms. "Three days? That's it? It took my parents a day and a half to plan mine."
The Queen frowns. "Okay, then. Would you like to be in my shoes and plan a party like this by yourself, then? And have guests come in unexpectedly and have only a few days to prepare? Let's see you or your parents do that."
Everyone nearly busts out laughing from the Queen's sassy remark. Kaya's so mad she turns red.
All of the girls head to a space in the gardens so they could work. Kaya, Merida, and I head over to the bench where Jack and I first met. We start to read over the packet, Merida and I, as Kaya just sits there. Merida has a thick Scottish accent and a quick temper. She even scolded Kaya for being a "ditsy little kaper" or whatever she said. I like her already.

"You could help, you know." I tell Kaya, who's just sitting there as Merida and I decorate. She puts down her copy of Entertainment Weekly and scowls. "I'm looking at important information, thank you."
"Like what, looking at yourself through model pictures?" Merida laughs. Merida is a Three-she's a teacher. Though instead of teaching regular subjects, she teaches-get this-archery. She's certainly fiery enough for it.
She places a white carnation onto a purple table, and red roses onto the entrées table. "Merida, the Arendelle colors are purple and dark yellow, so instead of white, why don't we have yellow buttercups and yellow dandelions? And for our dresses, they can be...a light blue to contrast the dark features."
She nods. "Good idea. I know Queen Idun loves the color blue since her daughter loved it."
I look up surprisingly. "She has a daughter? What is her name?" Merida shakes her head. "She had two, but rebels came and attacked the palace..."
She trails off as I realize what she means. "Oh, that's horrible. Let's do a little blue. She wouldn't want to be reminded of her past. And maybe white shaded lights?" She nods. "That'll do. And I'll get to workin' on the food for ya. Norwegian, right?" I nod.
"Drinks, too. Red wine, or white...maybe some vodka?"
Kaya frowns as she sets down her magazine, taking a sip from her own glass of champagne before she speaks. "Yellowtail. Cheap vodka for cheap jokes."
"They're not cheap. They're our closest allies right now." I say softly, trying to focus on my work. "Shut up, know it all."
I sigh, setting down my pen. "I'm not in the mood today, Kaya. Leave me alone."
She crosses her arms, rolling her eyes. She scoffs,"You think you're all that, but you're a slutty Six that just wants money."
"You know what? No she's not! You are!" Merida says and she slaps Kaya. Kaya pushes her, ruining the nearby table.
"You're leaving! I'm telling Jack!" She shouts, wiping her smeared lipstick off of her face. I've had it. I push Kaya down once more and punch her in the face. "If you do, you'll be going with us. You started it, I'll finish it. Now, get your white butt up and work!" Merida laughs. The queen immediately pulls us all apart, and we are forced to work separately until time to go to dinner.
A few hours later after dinner, Merida and I are both called to the king's study. We are so dead.
