"Lisa, I want to kiss you. I've been wanting to claim those lips for a long time Lisa. It's just that I didn't act on it like Sana gave in."

I froze. I knew here was the time and opportunity to get Taehyung. But I knew he was very drunk. Way more drunk the last time when we had drugged him. He wouldn't even remember that we did something.

"I-I d-don't think this-"

He stepped closer to the couch where I stood. I could feel his deep breaths on my face. I closed my eyes.

But before anything could happen, he collapsed, head down on the floor. This probably saved me from an awkward and not very nice drunk kiss. I hope he didn't hurt his head by that!

I carried him and laid him on his bed and headed out. I don't think he might remember this part of the scene the next day (he'd be pretty embarrassed by that) but surely he would remember me for being there for him as a friend.

When I got out of Taehyung's house, I saw a silhouette of a man staring at me from afar. I was sure I could ignore him; though I couldn't. He was leaned over my car, with arms crossed that showed his toned muscles. On stepping closer, I identified him. Guk.

"Why are you here?" I approached him.

"Is that seriously your first question after ignoring for weeks?"

"What else am I supposed to ask you? Stop bothering me and-"

"Me bothering you? I can surely tell you its the other way round. Is there something I have done wrong? Why are you ignoring me?"

"Guk, I am tired. I don't wish to argue over anything now. Step aside, I'll drive home." I ignored all types of eye contact with him. 

I opened the door and was about to get in when Guk caught hold of my arm and directly stared into my soul through my eyes, his body pushed against mine. I gulped. In a fraction of seconds I was already intimidated by him.

"Tired, you say. Fine then, hand over the keys to me. I'll drive you home."

"Thanks but no thanks. I can drive by myself, you don't need to-" I tried to respond with sass but Jungkook had already snatched the keys from me and locked my hands behind my back pulling me intensely close to him. 

"Right. With the obvious way you flirted with him and the drinks you had. I don't want you to crash into some tree or streetlight or pay a fine for drake and drive. Now get in without wasting time."

I wasn't in a mood to argue anymore. Also if Taehyung would miraculously wake up then we had high chances of getting caught together. So, I gave in and walked over to the other side. I reluctantly sat down and Guk followed.

"Hey! Why aren't you starting the car now?!" I asked him out of irritation of the fact that he just kept smiling at me and sat with his arms crossed.

"We will leave the place only when you answer me why you were distancing yourself from me."

"Seriously Guk? We're talking now right? Then why do you have to bring up other things now?"

He just whistled, unbothered of the frustration written on my face.

"Fine. You wanna know why I did it? Because of your promises Guk. You said you'll stay by my side forever. Look at you now. You slept with her." I muttered the last line softly in a hope that Jungkook won't hear me but he already had.

"So you just chose to ignore me over a pretty reason? First of all, wasn't it all your plan, me to get close to Sana? Now you're suddenly revolting that I slept with her? Great..."

"Y-you h-hurt Taehyung, Jungkook." I tried looking for excuses, but I couldn't.

"Isn't that what we wanted? Hurt Taehyung and separate him from Sana so that he will get close with you. Let me get things right. You're angry cause this hurt you, didn't it?"

"..."

"God dammit answer me Lali! You're hurt, aren't you? I promised you, doll. I wouldn't hurt you. I'm a man of my words. Don't you trust me a bit?"

"B-but..."

"To clear your benefit of doubt, I'll let you know. I didn't sleep with Sana. Yes, it's true that she was tipsy and yeah she kissed me and we made out a bit, but that was just an act for her to remember. Because after that, when we reached the hotel suite, she started undressing herself. She was so drunk that she even started touching herself and moaned my name but I didn't fuck her. Because, the thought of you stopped me. I didn't want to fuck her in the first place. But you, Lali, I didn't want to lose your trust. So I went out and played in the arcade until dawn and left a note by her bedside table to make the night look realistic."

I was shocked at Jungkook's sudden outburst. I felt guilty yet again, to the point I wished I had slapped myself. Jungkook only wanted my attention, my trust. But what did I do? I just starting presuming things and never even confronted him about it.

I was touched by his revelation, the truthfulness in his bunny eyes that stared into my soul. I had to change my perception about him. He wasn't a bad guy. Maybe he really deserves my trust?

I was brought back to my senses when I heard a familiar melody...of his whistle again.

"I...I am really sorry Jungkook. I guess we aren't that close enough. I think I'll have to work on my trust issues. I-I'm sorry..."

I hid my face underneath my palms. I didn't want to look weak by crying in front of him. But a few silent tears made way. He started caressing my hair.

"I know Lali, you have trust issues. It's difficult to give in your trust to a man you haven't known for long. Don't take this hard on yourself. I think its equally my fault too since I didn't clarify this with you before. Let's not have misunderstandings anymore, can I please wish for that?"

"Y-yes..." I raised my head to look up.

"Thank you Lali." He leaned in close to me and whispered into my ear. He then wiped away some stray tears on my cheeks and quietly buckled my seat belt.

We were only ten minutes away to reach home. Okay, then more minutes or this awkward silence to end. Jungkook was playing the radio and casually whistling to the rhythm of the song that played. He was wearing a flannel shirt, I tried my best not to look at him but he was so gorgeous and the atmosphere wasn't working at all.

Suddenly a call brought an abrupt end to my reverie. It was an anonymous caller which was quite uncertain because this phone was a confidential one Sehun provided each one of us, it easily couldn't be tracked for spam calls.

I ignored the call at first but the ringing was persistent. It kept ringing a few more times which also raised Jungkook's suspicion as well. I gave him a questioning look to which he calmly nodded, signaling me to take the call.

I heard an impatient female voice as soon as I received the call.

"Miss Seductress?" I instantly recognized the voice. Sana. How did she get this number? I panicked. Lalisa, you got this. Take a breath, everything will be fine, my conscience reminded.

I modulated my voice so that she couldn't recognize it was me talking to her.

"I'm her assistant speaking. Anything you need help with, miss?"

"Oh. I've heard from some sources that she's an assassin and the one to contact when we want someone...dead."

"Precisely." I answered.

What is going on in her mind?

"There's someone I want you to assassinate and I'm willing to pay you a lot of money for this."

"Who-"

"Lisa Bruschweiler, a business partner of Mr Kim Taehyung."

Shit! What do I do now? I can't assassinate myself, but if I don't reply back to her, she might hire another sharp shooter to get at me?!

"Hello? Are you there?"

I could hear her impatience. She wanted me dead at all costs.

"Y-yes. I...I'm sorry miss but I don't think she can help you....she's on vacation."

"But she can always do it when she's back right?"

"She has other contracts too, you might have to wait for a while. Around a year or two perhaps."

"A year! No, I can't wait that long. Okay, thanks for your assistance, though I will find someone else to do it."

She hung up on this. She sounded very serious. How can she go so low on me? Just....how?

"Who was it? Everything alright?" Jungkook asked while taking a right turn to enter the lane of my house.

I had to inform Jungkook and Sehun about this threat.

"J-jungkook, I got a call....from Sana."

The next day.
Phoenix headquarters

"I don't know! What's more is the fact that she contacted me on a number that you gave us, there's no way she can reach it. Maybe one of your-"

"Don't try to insinuate nonsensical things Lisa ssi. My employees are truthful to me, they won't do a single thing without informing me. What's more important is that now we know that Sana is crawling up your back. She's a threat we can't ignore. We have to get rid of her."

"Agreed." Guk nodded. Really, he was siding with Sehun on this?

"No! She's harmless. I can promise you she won't be able to harm me." I argued. They didn't seem to buy it.

"She just sent a death threat. She called you to assassinate yourself. She can't be called harmless."

"But she's just hurt to see me with Taehyung! She still loves him and wants to get him back, which is why she might've called me without thinking how dense the matter is..."

"You are The Seductress, Agent Lili. You're on a mission to save the world. If we just keep going with these pretty matters they will get big enough to affect our mission. She's already pissed, we shouldn't underestimate her powers and secret connections." Sehun said with arms crossed, not in a mood to accept anymore arguments.

"But I can't simply kill a person just because they're in the way of my mission, based on some informer I don't even know the name of?!"

"As I have told you before, I'm reminding you again. I have reliable sources. They want to stay anonymous, let them be. You need to end Sana's game before she ruins ours."

"Taehyung still loves her! I can't kill her like that just because she threatened me to."

"Why exactly do you care about her so much? You know that she'll keep bothering you and you won't be able to get Taehyung." Jungkook narrowed his eyes at me.

It wasn't that I cared for Sana. I cared for Taehyung. Sana's death would affect him. It would break him. It would break me.

"If Sana gets killed, it will affect Taehyung to the point where I can't lure him anymore. This isn't the way I work Sehun. If you kill her, I walk out from this mission."

Sehun knew he couldn't argue any further now. He reluctantly nodded.

"Okay, since you're important for the mission, we do it your way. But if she constantly triggers us then you know the procedure, we will take action."

"And you, Jungkook?" I wanted a promise from him too. I knew he was reckless.

"Okay, I won't hurt her."He sighed.

Sehun left the room to discuss other matters, leaving Jungkook and me alone.

"What were you thinking when you agreed on killing Sana?!"

"He's right, doll. The thought of her hurting you...makes me want to gag the hell of a life out of her. But I know, you're doing this all for Taehyung because you care for him more than your own life."

"Jungkook, it's not what--"

"Who are you trying to fool Lali? I can see it; I know you do care for him."

Jungkook sounded terribly hurt when he said that. He could read my mind like an open book.

"I don't trust Sehun, however. I think one of his insiders might have leaked the number to Sana because Sehun knows she'll get back at you for separating her from Taehyung." Jungkook continued.

"Exactly. He just wants the drug in his hands as soon as possible. Guk, I have a wrong feeling about this mission..." I rubbed my arm as I started my distress and Jungkook placed his hand over mine.

"I am just suspicious because he hasn't been sharing the complete details nor does he say anything about his confidential sources." Jungkook added, and an idea struck in my mind. I immediately looked up at Jungkook with enthusiasm, he knew exactly what I was going to do.

"Meet me outside the headquarters at midnight. We have to find out what Sehun has been hiding from us." I crossed my arms, firms at my decision.

"We're planning to break in? I like this sexy brain of yours. I'm coming with you tonight. See you doll."

I know I was supposed to update this chapter two days back but I don't know, it just wouldn't get published. The drafts would show a "revision history error" and so I had to retype all of it since I didn't store it in a separate backup. Forgive me please :'(

Those who have been keeping up with my notice board announcements might already know that I was going to write a drabble book inspired from a novel I had read a while ago. So, I have posted the intro for the drabble around  three days ago.
