"Thanks for picking me up . . ." Chanyeol muttered as he got inside Yoora's car.

Yoora nodded. "Of course, Chanyeol," Yoora replied with a small smile, and then they sunk into silence, and the only sounds were that of the tires against the slick asphalt and the gentle hum of the car's heater. It only took them thirty minutes to reach Chanyeol's old house, and an extra five minutes for Chanyeol to work up his courage before he followed Yoora up to the house. He was determined to settle things with his father, and he would refuse to leave until he was acknowledged as alive again.

Baekhyun had just finished with his shower and was headed for the kitchen to make himself something to eat. He was rummaging through the cabinets when Taemin walked into the kitchen wearing a shirt that wasn't his own, that reached all the way down to his knees. Baekhyun pursed his lips and tried not to laugh as he pulled down a bowl and grabbed the cereal and milk from the fridge. Taemin eyed Baekhyun's clothing too, who was wearing shorts and a white V-neck shirt that exposed his collar bones.

"Where's Chanyeol?" Taemin asked as he grabbed two bowls.

Baekhyun poured his cereal as he responded, "He went with his sister to see their dad. He wants to try to make things right . . ."

Taemin nodded with a soft hum. "Why didn't you go with?"

"Chanyeol had to do it on his own . . ."

"Oh, what are you going to do until he gets back?" Taemin asked.

Baekhyun shrugged and mumbled, "I was thinking about visiting Luhan. We haven't talked since that day he found out Chanyeol was back, and that was a month ago . . ." Baekhyun trailed off.

Taemin nodded. "Well, I hope everything goes well for you both," Taemin said before he prepared to leave the room.

"Wait, Taemin, who's in your room with you . . .?" Baekhyun asked with a sly grin.

Taemin rolled his eyes and laughed, and as he left the room he called, "My hot ass of a boyfriend!"

Baekhyun laughed too.

Chanyeol and Yoora were laying in the grass behind their house staring up at the clouds; birds were softly chirping and the breeze was gently blowing. Yoora sighed as she cloud watched and softly muttered, "Are you okay?"

Chanyeol sighed and a gave small as he muttered, "Yeah, I know he didn't completely accept me, but he just needs more time." Chanyeol sighed. "I hope he's adjusted enough to the idea by the time the wedding rolls around, I don't want him missing that...."

Yoora smile and rolled over onto her side, she held her chin up in her hands and smiled as she replied, "Don't worry, Chan, I'll drag him by his toes to your wedding if I have too."

Chanyeol laughed and rolled over onto his side too; he grinned up at his sister before softly teasing, "I don't doubt that for a second."

Yoora laughed and stuck her tongue out; Chanyeol laughed too and shoved her shoulder, making her collapse onto her back with another laugh.

Baekhyun stood in a white walled, gray carpeted hallway as his hand hung in midair, posed to knock on a door numbered D4. He inhaled deeply before finally raising his hand to knock. There was a moment of waiting that was filled with thoughts of running when the door suddenly opened and Luhan stood on the other side, with a look of surprise on his face that slowly transformed into a small smile as he stepped forward and threw his arms around Baekhyun's neck; Baekhyun hesitated a moment before hugging him back.

"Hey, Baek, it's good to see you," Luhan softly said.

Baekhyun exhaled a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding as he quietly replied, "It's good to see you too, Lu."

Luhan smiled before letting Baekhyun go from their hug, as he stepped to the side in the doorway and he ushered him inside. Baekhyun stepped inside with a small smile as Luhan said, "I can't believe it's been almost a month since the last time I saw you. How have you been?"

"I've been well, I got married so that—-"

Baekhyun was cut off as Luhan spun around and seized his wrists as he cried, "Seriously, I can't believe you guys actually went through with it!"

Baekhyun laughed and wiggled his fingers on the hand that held his rings, and Luhan gasped when the diamond from his engagement ring caught the light.

"Awe, Baek, congratulations!" Luhan gushed.

Baekhyun smiled as Luhan released his hold around his wrists, and he said, "It was spontaneous but we don't regret it for a moment, and my father even said he'd throw us a summer wedding!"

Luhan gasped again and cried, "Really! That's so exciting! What month will it be?"

"We haven't decided yet, but I want an outside wedding so the weather has to be perfect," Baekhyun replied with a smile.

Luhan grinned and grabbed Baekhyun's hand again as he said, "Let's look up ideas!"

Baekhyun smiled as he followed Luhan into the living room, and settled on the couch beside him. "Let's get started!" Luhan cheered. Baekhyun nodded as he lifted his legs up onto the couch, curling them beneath him as he leaned onto Luhan's shoulder to get a better view of his phone screen. "Ooh, this is beautiful!" Luhan gushed.

Baekhyun grinned at his enthusiasm as he couldn't help but reminisce about all the times they'd curl up together on a couch or a bed together, talking and laughing about their days and sharing memories together. Baekhyun sighed as he settled closer, and mentally added this to the long list of memories they shared. He was more than happy that Luhan was able to easily fall back into their friendship, as if the last month spent apart had never happened. He softly sighed with a small smile. He could never ask for a more better understanding friend.

Later that same day as the sun steady settled over them, casting the world into beautiful oranges and pinks, both Baekhyun and Chanyeol arrived home at the same time. They met in the parking lot, and Baekhyun stood by his car as he waited for Chanyeol to get out of his own car. Chanyeol smiled when he saw Baekhyun, and stepped out of his car with a grin as he walked around the cars to lift him into his arms. Baekhyun laughed as Chanyeol spun him in a circle, and once the world stilled beneath them, Baekhyun locked his legs around Chanyeol's waist as Chanyeol held him close.

He kissed his neck and nuzzled his nose into Baekhyun's hair as he softly whispered, "Did you have a good day?"

Baekhyun nodded and leaned his face into Chanyeol's shoulder as he replied in a muffled voice, "Yes, I spent time with Luhan and we went over ideas for the wedding."

Chanyeol smiled. "Yoora asked about the wedding too. She wasn't to know the date . . ."

Baekhyun hummed and lifted his face from Chanyeol's shoulder with a small smile as he replied, "I picked a month, now we just need the perfect sunny day."

Chanyeol grinned and chasetly kissed him before softly muttering against his lips, "And I can't wait," before he softly kissed him again.
