Epilogue

Jessica's POV

Standing against the railing, I look out into the ocean watching as the waves crash below me.

It has been three years since we left California, and I can happily say it was the best decision we've ever made.

Opie, Donna, and their kids, along with my parents, and Morgan moved to the South Carolina coast. It had always been a dream of mine to raise my children by the water, letting them feel the freedom that the open air brings.

While it might not be the same ocean that I grew up with, it was still water, so I was happy.

Jax left the clubs in the hands of Chibs, who completely turned the club around from the direction Clay had it heading.

When Jax had told them everything, showing them that I was actually alive, it was a shock for most of them, but none of them had any plans on retaliating for their now dead president and 'queen'. Instead, they we're welcoming the changes with open arms, something none of us expected.

Jax and Opie ended up opening up a garage once we got settled in, which has been beyond successful in this small town, a small town that I love.

Opie and Donna ended up having another daughter, which they ended up naming Krista.

Morgan met a lovely man who started working at Jax's shop named Michael. They ended up getting married and are now expecting their first child, a son.

We are still in contact with the Mayan's regularly, and they come to visit as much as possible.

My parents have been the most loving, and devoted grandparents I could ever wish for.

"Ella, get back here. Let your momma relax honey" I hear Jax yell from inside the house.

A few seconds later, the doors are opened, and our daughter comes running out of the house, blonde bouncing curls flowing behind her.

"Mama, daddy won't let me have a cookie" she exclaims, sitting down on the couch next to me.

"Did you eat your lunch?" I ask her, separating her curls with my fingers.

"No, but daddy said you need to eat your lunch too, so little brother is full" she responds.

I look down at my growing bump, before looking over at her.

While getting pregnant a second time wasn't planned for us at this time, it was a welcomed surprise. Ella was beyond excited when we explained to her what it meant to be to be a big sister, and our little village couldn't wait to welcome in a new member.

"Why don't you have him bring everything out here, we can have a picnic" I suggest.

Ella gives me a big smile, before running back inside.

A few minutes later, Jax comes walking out a smile on his face as he carries the food out. He places a kiss on the top of my head, before sitting down next to me.

I look between Jax and Ella, a smile on my face when I think about how far we truly have come.

And to think, it's all because of the secret's we kept.
