Chapter Two

(A/N) Hey NeCole. So guess what. I'm gonna say it.
Wanna no why I chose the name Ocean for the guy in this?
I had a funny notion it would work.
Lol, Lyra needs to see this.

The song: Fairy Tail's new theme song.
The picture: I love you interweb.

Anyways. Besides that random fact(😏😏😏), I made chapter two! ENJOY OR DIE!😈
Just kidding!😄

~ Rogue's Pov ~

I wake earlier than everyone else. It's still pitch black out. I like this kind of day. Actually it's morning, but it's too dark to tell. It's a good time to bask in silence. I sit peacefully until the first signs of sun show themselves. Then I stand up and walk around, scouting the area. We camped out in the best location, at the top of a hill. It's hard to get caught unaware, being able to see everything. Sting and I can attack with ease when aiming for a downhill target. It's easier to pinpoint enemies.

After carefully analyzing he area, I notice everyone else is waking up. I quickly post myself on an abandoned rock, looking out at the city. Can't lose my moody, sad/alone demeanor. Even if they're my friends. Only Frosch kinda knows me. And barely. They can't know what happened to me then, it's too dangerous. But the most emotion I show is around them, so if I really had to, there is a slight chance they won't run away.

"So, when are we leaving?" My blonde friend asks, approaching me from behind.

"Soon as you guys are ready and the camp is picked up," I reply. I sense Sting's smirk before I hear it in his voice.

"What camp?" I turn, and to my surprise, see a bare space where our camp was. It looks exactly like when we got here.

"Good job. Well, let's go then," still a little flustered by their...promptness...I lead my friends down the hill.

After about an hour of walking we make it to the large fortress. Sting knocks.

"What is it!?" A nasal voice calls sharply.

"We're doing research on cities in Fiore. Yours is next on the list!" Sting answers the man confidently and boldly.

"Hm, alright then, you can come in." I am genuinely shocked that they bought it. Before the door opens, I change into Sting's shadow. That way I can stay with him until we're in a good position for me to go. They walk inside.

"Go," Yukino hisses at me. I slip away. Remembering the instructions on how to get to our rendezvous spot I dart along shady alleyways.

~ Your Pov~

I wake up much warmer than you'd expect for sleeping in an abandoned warehouse. But when I look at the arm wrapped around my waist, I realize why. Last night I must've fallen asleep against Ocean. I would get up, but I can tell it's cold. So I look around from the warmth of my friend's chest. Up high in the rafters is a bird. I'll ask Skie about it later. Speaking of Skie, she's sleeping in a corner on the other side of the room. Her wavy blonde hair is splayed all around her face, the face that has a look of confusion etched on it. Besides that, she seems peaceful, her chest rising and falling in a rhythmic pattern. Her green eyes are shut gently, relaxed.

Suddenly Ocean stirs. His eyes slowly flicker open, and his grip on me tightens for a second, and then relaxes. I look up at him with my (e/c) eyes and realize my face has been red this whole time.

"Oh my gosh (Y/N)! I'm so sorry!" He quickly pulls his arms back and his bright red face is flustered. (A/N I love that word. Flustered. Flustered. Flooshtured. IDK, BACK TO THE STORY!)

"Uh, its alright..." I say quietly. He just shuts up and sits about a foot away. Well, he's gonna be humiliated for the next hour, so I crawl to Skie's little corner and sit watching her sleep like some creepy person. (I actually do that at sleepovers)

Occasionally I poke her on the cheek, and whisper her name. Finally, twenty minutes later, she wakes up, and slowly.

"Morning sleeping beauty!" I say, right in her face.

"Gah!" She gasps and has to breath heavily for a minute.

"Haha, sorry about that!" She smiles after a bit, and then pushes me over.

"Hey!"

"Hah payback!"

"Grrr" we both laugh.
My friend suddenly narrows her eyes. I tilt my head.

"What? What's going on?" I ask quickly.

"Something. There's something happening, and it's important," she says and, with purposeful strides, walks to the small window.

"Hmm, I feel it too, it seems like something is going on by the entrance," Skie and I share a special power that senses when something is happening. We can only get things that are disturbing the natural society of a place, and it's very vague.

"Who are you?" Ocean asks someone behind us sharply.

"My name is Rogue Cheney of the Sabertooth Guild. I am assuming you three are the ones who sent a request for help?" A black haired man with red eyes stands in the doorway. This man seems to be the same age as me.

Across the bridge of his nose he has a thin scar. He is wearing an all black cloak, and underneath is a grey shirt that leaves his shoulders exposed, and a black cloth belt. Four large pieces of cloth hang from the black fabric, and they all have a strange texture to them, like a spinning black hole, but hard to see. He also is wearing silver armored boots.
(A/N: Imagine him like this:

But with different colors on his clothes, and a couple details tweaked. There is no gold color in his current outfit)

"Yes we are." My boyfriend says in a confident tone, "This is Skie," he gestures to my breathless friend.

"I am (Y/N)," I tell Rogue. He looks at me with eyes that register shock, or surprise. I'm used to uneasiness or fear, this is an interesting change.

"Good to meet you all. Now come on, I have a time limit," his words seem half felt and bored. This man obviously has not much to care for, or just doesn't care at all. On the other hand, Skie is trying hard not to start hyperventilating.
As we follow the dark haired man out the door and through secret alleyways, I nudge her.

"This guy too "hot" for you to handle?" I ask tauntingly.

"No...I never expected to meet someone known and popular in the flesh!" She's not going to make it to the other guy. I already hate this "Rogue." He looks gloomy and boring. Chances are he only cares about his sad life, and doesn't give a crap about anyone elses. I'm going off on my own soon as I can.

~Rogue's POV~

I met the children we're helping. They aren't very interesting. Except for her. That's so very strange, no one has had an appearance like that through my vision. It's different.

And I'm stopping there. Hope you guys have enjoyed chapter two! Next chapter you meet Sting, and then leave your hometown for a long time. Bye friends!

MIHARU-CHAN OUT! PEASH!✌
