Your Pov

We follow mister tall dark and gloomy to a long line outside the town hall. He makes us wait while he walks right up to the front, hardly attracting attention, and then disappears?

"What the!?" I almost shout.

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, we don't want attention!" Skie covers my mouth with her hand. I raise an eyebrow at her, and lick her palm.

"(Y/N) you're so immature!" She says, wiping off her hand. I look up at the sky while we wait. The sun is shining directly in face, casting my shadow behind me. I stop staring at the sky. I feel really nervous, what if we're caught?

Ocean nudges me, "you're doing it again," he whispers. I look down at my hand and realize he's right.

"Crap," we're getting stares, "c'mon" I grab their arms and walk us over to a shadowy overhang. No one will notice my...problem...in the shade. After another few minutes the line has shortened considerably, and Rogue appears out of nowhere.

"What the!? Where did you come from?" I ask him. He's standing right next to me, it's almost like he materialized next to me.

"Wow how stupid are you? I'm a shadow dragon slayer, I can become a shadow," he says superiorly. Ohoho, stupid huh?

"You're in for it now," I say smirking, and step to the left.

Behind me both Ocean and Skie have developed deadly auras, and are glaring at Rogue like he's killed someone. Actually, Skie is attempting the 'Smile sweetly and be intimidating at the same time' approach. Ocean on the other hand is twitching and using his magic he secretly learned to change the pebble he's holding into a spiked mace.

"Did you just call my good friend (Y/N) here stupid?" Skie smiles, but the fact that she's slowly growing demon horns and talons kinda gives away how dead he is.

~Rogue's POV~

Aaannnndddd I'm screwed. Why are friends so devoted? Am I like this?

The blonde boy is holding a giant club that seemingly came from a pebble, and a silver haired demon is growing a tail and even her outfit is morphing into something else. Of course it's always the demons I end up pissing off.

And now people are looking at us, great more attention.

"Can we do this later? We're on I tight schedule and I'd rather not get arrested," I say in a high and mighty voice sure to tick them off some more. Wait, since when do I act like this?

Then I see a spiky blonde head slip out of the building where we're "taking surveys."

"Oh thank goodness, Sting finally!" I mutter. I shove past the silver haired girl and blonde boy. They glare at me, but refrain from murder just yet. As I pass the other girl, the one I insulted, she turns sharply and her  (h/c) hair whips my face.

"Tch, gonna pout little girl?" I ask her, throwing myself farther into a death pit.

"Why am I acting like this? Since when am I this....what's the word?"

"OI ROGUE WE'VE FINISHED UP IN THERE, GET OVER HERE!" all the stray people on the street instantly look at the reckless fool I call my friend. I stalk over to him quickly.

"Idiot!" I hiss, "shut up!"

"Hm, fine," he mutters, "you find the client?"

I nod, he looks over my shoulder at the group of friends behind me.

"Okay cool, let's go," Sting says, and he grabs my arm, gestures to the others, and walks us quickly to the door. Yukino stands waiting for us.

"I'm outta here, what's taking so long?" She asks.

"We got a plan?" I ask her.

"Yep! It's called Plan W!" Sting announces.

"And that stands for?" The (h/c) girl demands sharply.

"Plan Walking out the front door! Duh," he says like that was easy to figure out.

"Let's get going then, I've got a score to settle," the blonde boy exclaims, shooting daggers at me. He grabs the girl by her arm, (y/n) right? Then he literally walks straight out the front door, the other girl, Skie I think, and Sting in tow. I shrug at Yukino and follow them.

Mission accomplished.

Yes I realize it's a really short chapter, I just wanted to make sure I updated! Some friend devotion going on to show the very important bond between reader, Skie, and Ocean. Well, see you next time friends!
