Nivia seen Lukas freeze up. She did the only thing she could think of. Hug him. She held him in her embrace letting him know that it was okay to let his emotions run wild.

"I feel so stupid" Lukas choked up "about what?" Nivia asked "I spent 6 months in my dad's barn and not one of those days did my dad or anybody go looking for me. Then Philip found me and saw all the liqour bottles. But it was my only retreat. I figured that the more I drank the more I could forget but I just couldn't.

The memories shot through me like  lightning striking. I couldn't get them out of my head they clouded my mind. The only thing I could think about everyday.
