Meeting HIS Office
Street lights, familiar faces and other buildings would fly by as the car began again, soft calming piano music plays in my ears. And it's exactly what I currently need.
The blur of Damy and Damien's voices hum on the surface of the music, but I don't pay any attention to them.
I'm anxious. So, anxious. Nervous, so nervous.
I've come so far, found a lot of info, made a lot of progress, done a lot for some random fifteen-year-old girl. I've dealt with a glitch, a demon, and a psycho.
Anti, Dark, Will...
I've seen a lot, in both the Real World and the Parallel World. And even though it may have been worse, it might be odd to look at Mark and Jack the same way I did before. I'm getting so close to them.
The moment where I could find where they've been hiding all along, the big moment is drawing near.
I, wanted this, didn't I?
The car stops and I look up. We're parked beside a tall building, this is one of the few that aren't damaged. It's still smooth and clear of any marks or scratches. This building seems to be about nine stories high.
I unplug my music and climb out the vehicle, wind blows loudly by my ears.
Shit will go down...
"Are you ready to meet Damien's other Egos~?" Damy grins.
I nod, clutching my handbag closely. "Ready as I'll ever be."
You're not giving up.
You're not weakened now.
You've come this far, you survived with demons.
Beat the pain.
The fear.
You'll probably have to fight.
Give your worst.
I'm ready now.
Damy, Damien and Wilford head toward the door, and I push myself to follow closely behind them. I take one last look around me, at the chaos. The sky is blood red, wasn't it pleasant before?
"Stop pondering and step in the door~!" Damien growls impatiently.
I nod, and step through the door. There sitting at the reception is the Host. Mark, but not.
His hair is slicked back, he wears a white uniform and the cloth that covers his eyes is light pink, but he still looks up at us like any other person.
It seems he registers of our arrival from his sense of hearing, and taps on the keyboard.
"Damien, is it?"
"Yes, I also have brought Damy and Wilford. And, a guest~."
The Host stops tapping on the keyboard for a minute. "What guest..?"
Damien chuckles and a chill run downs my spine. "I think you already know~."
The Host merely smirks and continues with the keyboard.
"...So, elevator or stairs~?"
To the right is a huge set of stairs and from what I can tell, it would be a long walk. To the left is a huge elevator, the doors are bigger than my future.
"Elevator Damien, there's no point to waste our energy on the BLOODY stairs!" Wilford hisses.
Honestly, I feel the same way...
"Elevator Damien~." Damy smiles.
Wilford dashes up to the elevator and presses the button a thousand times, which Damien slaps his hand away.
We get in the elevator and Damien presses the button, and then the doors close.
All four of us are dead silent as the elevator, and the tension increases, as it lays on my shoulder. I take a couple deep breaths, enough to get Damien and Wilford to look at me strangely. But that's because sometimes I don't get as much air as I need.
The elevator stops moving and the door opens.
"This is our office. Take a walk down the hall, you'll find the room with the rest of the Egos~."
I nod, anxiously shifting my beanie and I take the first step out the door. The carpet is soft, and it adds some pressure underneath me.
Remember, the people you're looking for are here somewhere.
You can't give up now.
They, are really, here.
Watch the cameras.
I look one dead in the face as I pass down the hall, the cold breeze from the air conditioning sends dread through my whole body.
The pressure feels so unreal, so unenthusiastic, my goes numb for a second with every step I take.
Lights shower down the hallway and the carpet is a light brown color, and I hear the three pairs of footsteps behind me.
Damy.
Damien.
Wilford.
I wonder what is was like if they all saw Mark's ego in person, specifically since it wasn't SUPPOSED to be real.
Through the glass door I see the office that he's talking about. At a long white table, there stands the many faces of Mark.
Yandere, Google, Bing, Squirrel King and many more. Google is the first to notice my arrival.
"It ap-pe-pe-pears we h-haaaaaqaaaave a g-g-guest."
Everyone's heads turn to face me, I take a gulp as I nervously walk into the office. All eyes are on me, yet I never thought that I would see so many of Mark.
Everyone's here that I know of. All the Egos, I count rapidly with my eyes darting the room. They're all there. Everyone. Every Mark.
Damien, Googleplier, Bingiplier, Wilford, The Host, Yandereplier, Squirrel King, Dr. Iplier, Ed Edgar, Bim Trimmer and The Jim's.
"Well, Damien, is this her?" Iplier questions.
"Of course she is. She wanted to get to know the office, and meet all of you~." Damien scoffs.
All eyes go back to me and I nervously, sheepishly grin back at them.
Not all of them have the fire in their eyes to kill me, but Yandere seems to have the most flames.
Iplier take a step closer to me, analyzing me.
"Hmmm..."
"Huh?!"
Iplier slides his hand down my sleeve and twirls me around, checking me for whatever reason. Maybe he's wanting to check my health.
"Iplier, please. Can you stop~?" Damy yawns.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause a hassle. I wanted to check if she was in good shape. And it appears from her circles under her eyes that she has had a huge lack of sleep. Her energy could be a little better but she has somewhat a decent amount of strength."
"You know she could probably up her style! A more cooler look would suit her, it'd be awesome! She's old fashioned like Google over here." Bing laughs.
Googleplier and Damien's heads snap in his direction and Bing frowns. "That's my opinion."
"We don't need your opinion Bing. As for everyone in the room, it is an hour until we have our daily meeting. You, Jada, have an hour before Damy occupies you~."
I nod in agreement and everyone else goes along with it as well.
Wilford, Damien, Yandere and Ed Edgar leave the room which leaves me with Damy and everyone else.
I take a seat, letting out a deep breath. My eyes darting around the room to finally find the security camera hidden in the wall.
"W-what is y-yooouuurrrr reason-son to m-meet all o-of us?"
Off in the side, Google takes a seat beside me. He's clearly interested on my arrival. The wide eyes stare and evil grin, says nothing but danger.
I give him a warm smile. I can't tell him my real reasoning why, but I could probably get away with a lie. With him.
"I know there are other Egos of Mark so I thought it would be interesting to meet everyone. This isn't really an everyday option after all."
He tilts his head, smiling. He has that creepy smile that pierces, and he doesn't look away from me.
"N-no, it-it's n-nooot."
"Do you know what the time in this world is?" I ask him. He would probably know because he's Google. And if I can tell what the time is now in this world, I could somehow use that to my advantage. Somehow.
"T-the time-ime? E-ele-eleven twe-twenty-ty fooooooouuur."
I nod, smiling. Eleven twenty four. It's nearly midnight. So, their meeting.
"I-I the-ere any-anything-ing else you you wo-would wa-want to kno-ow?" He asks me intrigued.
I have so many things to ask, like where they could be or when the meeting starts. But that would probably increase my chances of being suspicious which is something I desperately don't want. I can't risk anything while I'm here.
Not suspicion.
Not danger.
Not distrust.
Not obliviousness.
And definitely not like I have a plan.
I feel so close to them, they're somewhere in this building. I feel so close, I can feel it. I just have to look somewhere without their notice. Other wise I'll be screwed.
Suddenly I see a hand lower near my face and I look up. Bim Trimmer. The fancy black suit isn't the same to Damien's but it still looks as neat as his.
"Nice to meet you ma'am. I'm Bim Trimmer."
I fake a smile and take his hand. He has a strong grip and his hand seems warm from the touch of something hot. He shakes my hand and let's go.
"It's interesting, we don't normally get young ladies like you around the building. But it's nice to meet you."
I wonder why...
"It's nice to meet you too Bim, my names Jada."
"Ah, yes that name! I've heard Damien and Anti talk a lot about you!"
My body freezes. Anti's been here before?!
"What's with that face? Come, I wanna show you something..." Bim grabs my hand and I manage to get my handbag in time as he walks me out of the office.
"Where are we going?" He let's go of me and I walk beside him, following him wherever he is taking me. I have the awful intent that Google was glaring at me on my way out. I really hope he doesn't find me suspicious, but I can't deny it either...
"The Show room. Wilford does game shows and so do I! I don't know, maybe I thought that would interest you. You seem like an outgoing person!" He babbles excitedly as we speedily walk down the hallway.
I never thought I would be known as an outgoing person. For whatever reason he said that, I'll take it.
The hallway cuts short and he's already intent to go down the left. There's a right section of the hallway as well.
And as my head turns to the right, time seems to slow down a little.
The right is an empty yet large hallway, and it seems plain ordinary. But why is there a security guard and high tech security other than a camera?
