Busted
Wilford's eyes stare past me wildly, and I hear the aura and sound effects behind me.
"Hes, right, behind me isn't he?"
Thomas who is closest to me nods slightly, and I shut my eyes anxiously. I let out a sigh, Damien is gonna give me one hell of a punishment for this. I'll be lucky if the Crossbow doesn't somehow get taken away from me.
I'm so scared that Damien will hate me for this. I don't know what will happen when I turn around, but all paranoia tells me not to. But I don't have a choice...
I turn around to face him, and I receive a burning pain across my face. The sound breaks through the air.
"No!!"
I drop the Crossbow to the ground as it falls from my grip, and my legs slip and I tumble to the ground, landing on my chest. I let out a grunt, face planting the ground.
The face plant doesn't fix my burning pain, and the force from his hand on my cheek still stings, my face. Burning, pulsing, pain.
"Why did you hit her?! You don't hit women!" Dan's voice cries out.
I push myself up a little, lifting my face to show the cold concrete. The Crossbow is inches in front of me, and I reach to grab it. My hand hesitates, and Damien's black shoe kicks it far away. Toward the door.
"GET UP~!!"
I face back down, I'm not going to obey his orders. No way in fucking hell. My hand shakes, but I don't dare obey his orders.
"Damien, I don't think she'll be listening to you any time soon. You watched the camera footage didn't you?"
"Of course I did. I should've known from the very start she would find a way through the Manor. IT WAS OBVIOUS~!!"
I hold my handbag tightly close by, and I don't dare make a move. I lay on the cold ground, but my eyes still are able to see what's going on. Mark, Amy, Ethan, and Tyler are the only ones who can see that my face isn't fully buried in the ground. And they know this, but don't say are word.
"Why did you slap her? She didn't deserve it!" Amy protests.
Damien snaps his head toward Amy and she jolts back with a gasp. "Do you know who she is~?"
"I do! I was with her a little bit after when Anti captured us! She's a nice, gentle, yet shy person!" Mark protests as I push myself back up.
I clutch the charm closely, and I notice that Mark gives me a small smile.
"She's not shy~!"
Damien, Wilford and everyone else in sight turns toward me.
I lift my head up shaking.
I don't know what to do next so I squint at him while making an odd sound.
"Get up, stop being a child." Wilford grunts.
I hold my bag close by as I push myself off the ground.
"Might I ask, what exactly is in your bag~?" Damien questions.
"Does is matter?" I shiver.
Damien takes a step closer, and I put the bag behind me, arms straight.
"Damien, it's none of your-ahh!"
I jump as I feel someone grab the bag, and people gasp. I stumble back a bit as Googleplier somehow teleports behind me and steals the bag.
"No!"
Damien chuckles and pushes past me, Wilford steps forward.
I quickly step backwards to retrieve the Crossbow when I bump into someone.
"J-Jada its-!"
I look up to see, Googleplier?
He's wearing a red shirt, unlike the other one with a blue shirt.
"Wh-where do y-y-y-you think you're g-going?" His voice shakes with the atmosphere, and I stare up at him with wide eyes.
"There's many! He can do that!" Mark tells me.
"What room did you get in to~?!"
Damien growls at me with an anger I've never seen before, and the blue and red colors bounce off him. My heart drops.
"Is that my hat?!" Sean exclaims. I go red with embarrassment. Everything is going so wrong!
"She stole it from him!" Wilford exclaims.
"From Damien!"
The words yell out my mouth, as the three glare at me from our small distance.
"From me~?"
He chuckles, my legs shake. There isn't much the others can do, but watch.
"Maybe you did, but I can only imagine that you brought his hat with you, because you figured you could give it to him~."
There isn't much that comes to mind, as I let out a small high pitched, eeehhh. I see that Sean's eyes soften to this.
He takes a step closer to me, and my breathing begins to pace quickly. My mind is blank with fear, as everyone watches this scene unfold.
"That's cute. YOU think that you can COME DOWN HERE, to give him a hat? Do you REALLY think, you can rescue everyone~?"
"Don't touch her!" Mark snaps, Damien's cold hand tightly grabs my chin.
"Who do you think you are~?"
I jump as Mark slams his hands against the glass.
"You have NO right to put your hands on her Damien!"
He scoffs at Mark in disgust. "I'm not the one trapped in a glass cage~."
I bat my hands around and he let's me go from surprise, I take a step back from him.
I know Google is behind me but I can't attack him. Its sucks.
"What are you gonna do about her Damien?" Google says behind me.
"That's none of your business." I look up at him.
"No, I think it is~." I turn to Damien who is closer than he was before. Behind me I see Wilford pick up a blue container. My heart drops.
"I have a couple tasks for you, you should pick your decisions wisely~."
"Damien, you might know what this is..."
I feel chills run down my spine as he turns around to face him, who is holding the antidote.
"Is that~?"
He knows what it is.
"J-Jada..." Mark tries to warn me as I'm closer to him, red and blue energy starts to irradiate off him. His hands twitching with anger, he tilts his head from side to side.
"I see what you're doing now~."
"I-I can explain, it-'s"
"It's my fault!" My head snaps toward Bonnie and everyone stares at him in horror.
"Is, it~..?" He growls, anger moving with his energy. He wants to punch me, I know it. He wants to hurt something.
Google steps forward past me and I step to the side in view to see Bonnie.
I shake my head desperately no, even make an x with my arms. I bark a silent no. I don't want him to get in trouble he doesn't deserve to be in!
"I'm able to contact her, her phone was still working! We were both in the same world so I told her where we were! You were dangerous, so she brought it with her on my accord!"
Damien's head turns toward me, and I shy away nervously.
"I don't see why you would have a need to contact each other, but your, little goal. Do you REALLY think you can accomplish it~?"
I need to get out of her, I already have some sort of punishment. I can't stay any longer.
"Uhh, hehehe it's uh really, really late Damien! *fake yawn* Maybe we should get going! These people I nice, we shouldn't bother them for this long should we?"
"Nice try~." He turns away, and I shake, shying away from him.
"Should we leave Damien, I would like to hear everything but it truly is late. These fellows have suffered your shit enough." Wilford jumps with pride. He's a complete carnival maniac.
"I'll take the bag to the office, and all of the belongs in this will be in the office."
My eyes widen, but before I can say a word, Google's three duplicates teleport away, with my bag. I look around for where Damien kicked the crossbow, but that is nowhere in sight. And the room is bright enough to see.
I give Wilford a glaring look as he peers at the blue container.
'Don't you dare.' I mouth to him. He seems to grow a wide grin under the mustache and purposely loses the balance of the container. The blue liquid inside glows brightly against the broken glass shards on the ground.
"What was the point of that?" Tyler questions him.
"Jada, I think you need to leave~." Damien growls.
"Says who!?" I pout, crossing my arms. Mark gives me a glance like that was a bad idea.
"Says me! Leave now or you will suffer consequences you WILL NOT like~!" His red and blue energy bounces off him as he's inches away.
Damien hesitates after this, looking down.
"Say, does that clover charm do anything~?"
I look down at the charm, I clutch it tightly and my head snaps up at him.
"What, this thing?" Google asks.
My eyes grow wide as I see him holding the necklace.
"How'd you do that?!" Ethan asks alarmed.
Google somehow unhooked it off my neck..!
"Gnah!" I pounce quick enough and I manage to snatch the charm off of him. NOBODY touches the clover necklace that Mark gave me!
I jump back up and Google and Damien get too close to me. I know they're after the charm.
I let the charm hang off my arm and I pull out two bobby pins and aim them separately at Google and Damien. The two stop in their tracks, glaring at me. Everyone is speechless with the scene that has unfolded before them, including Wilford.
"I know that you can get away with taking the rest of my stuff, but you will never get away with taking the necklace." My voice becomes low and serious, Damien raises an eyebrow.
"Okay sure. But of all things, why threaten us with bobby pins~?"
"I didn't have any knives, shut up." I huff as he straightens the cuffs of his suit.
I pull the bobby pins away and Google glances over at Wilford.
"As fun as this has all been, I think we all need to leave." Wilford chuckles.
"You guys can leave but-"
"I would recommend you to leave as well if you want your life spared~!" Damien snaps.
I take a step back. Mark gives me an anxious look. "You really should go. It'll be okay."
I look down behind me in defeat, we'll almost. It must've been dropped out of the bag, the OK key blade stands inches away from my foot, darkened to camouflage by dust.
I give Damien a gentle look as I crouch down.
"You're very annoying when you're mad." He gives me a confused look, and he and everyone else is distracted from this.
I pick up the knife and put it in my pocket.
"What'd you do?" Google asks.
"She didn't do anything~." Damien huffy tiredly.
I hold the key hidden in my hand. Pressure fills on me. The anxiety. I don't want to give up, I may have screwed myself over. So this may be the only chance to come down here. I might have screwed it all for myself because of this. So I can't give up now..!
"Go Jada! Walk down the door~!"
I take a deep breath, holding the key tightly. I turn around, hesitating. Now or never. Do something.
I take one step forward, and zip.
"Gah!"
I swing my arm around revealing the key. I attack and the blade nearly reaches Damien, if he didn't grab my arm so tightly.
"No!" Logan yells out.
Red and blue radiates off of him, as he sees the blade I'm holding. A pink blade. Everyone becomes shocked and I wince with the grip he has on my arm.
"Just what do you think you're doing~?" He asks slowly.
I shiver, my eyes filled with fear. Wait a minute.
He's paralyzed me! I can't move!
I can't open my mouth to scream or yelp, and I can't move my body! I'm stuck with my arm in the air, his grip goes numb until I can't feel it whatsoever. I shake nervously, fearing for my life. But he only smirks.
"You REALLY shouldn't have done that~."
He let's go of my arm and chuckles, taking a couple steps back.
"Jada run!" Mark shouts.
I don't move. I look down at the floor, I don't dare want to look at Damien. He's a monster!
I hear the second bang against glass and my eyes shoot up startled. It's Logan..!
"Hey, what the hell did you do?! I get that she attacked you but come on!"
Logan gives me a quick look of confusion, and I give a pleading look. I want to get out of this cage. Everyone seems to get that he somehow paralyzed me, which makes matters worse. It's just so stupid....
"Jada. What did you really think was going to happen? What did you expect~?"
I'm scared, but I pull on a brave face and glare at him. I'm frightened, but I didn't want to lose. Everyone awaits my answer.
"Why? Why did you attack him?" Mark asks softly.
Everyone glances at him with the same fearful look. I look down at the ground ashamed. I should've listened to him. I should've left...
"Oh, I think I get it." Google chips in.
"Explain~." Damien nods.
"That charm, it's not special because of the energy flowing through it, but for another reason. Am I wrong?" He smirks.
My heart drops. Google somehow gets answers to everything, no matter what. I plead so much for him to shut up. But I know he won't.
"You are not a hero. You may not look at yourself as that, and that's alright."
"Where are you going with this~?" Damien asks.
And then he says those very words. "Mark gave her the Clover Charm. And she made a promise to him."
That's it. He knows. He must know my goal as well. Damien looks over to Mark, he stares wide eyed.
"Jada used to be shy before, but all of this has taken a toll on her. I'm guessing that she felt this was her only chance. She attacked you, because she was afraid." He answers.
"If she was afraid, then-"
"For everybody else."
Dammit!
Damien takes a step closer to me. "And why would you be afraid for everybody else, huh?!" He starts off calm and his begins to rise.
"Damien back off!" Sean hisses.
I look down, ashamed. I'm so embarrassed.
"You're all down here aren't you? She knew that before she even came into this Parallel World. He goal was to rescue all of you and get out to safety, whether or not she is just petrayed as one little kid. That's been a goal of hers the entire time. But the main reason she attacked was because she didn't want to give up. Giving up would probably be leaving this room. And as I recall, you promised Mark you would never give up right?"
Everyone's eyes soften to this as they all exchange mixed looks, I make as baka look and my cheeks go red. Dammit, dammit.
My eyes grow wide, and I'm forced to look up at him. I can see out the corner of my eye, Mark and Amy exchange nervous glances. This wasn't supposed to get out like the way it did.
Damien chuckles. "Everybody watched you attack, and to waste your time send make consequences worse. All because of a pointless determination~?"
"No, that wasn't pointless!" Sean yells.
He has a look of determination of his own. "She's kind and caring, she did that because she wanted to help us! You can't blame her for that, she has a warm heart!" He yells, I give Sean a look of confusion. And he nods. He's backing me up, and he doesn't even know me...
"Maybe so, but that is no excuse~." He spits.
"So whatever! It doesn't matter if she's a kid or not, she's brave to stand up to you!" Amy pouts, Damien glares angrily at Amy.
"Now are you gonna let her go, or is she going to stay like that?" Sean asks.
Damien sighs, turning his back to me. "Yeah, sure. Whatever~."
Suddenly my body moves again and the last of the swinging motion falls off as I turn with it, I quickly hide the knife behind my back nervously.
Damien glares at me, looming over me. My legs shake nervously, and I have butterflies.
"It really makes makes me wonder how stupid one kid can be~."
I stumble backwards, fright crossing all of my face. With every step he takes toward me, I take another one back. I'm so scared.
"Damien stop it, leave her alone!" Mark shouts.
His head turns slightly, and Mark backs up. Damien turns back to me.
"You are supposed to leave the room, go now! Don't even think about trying to swing at me again." He snatches the blade off me.
"Go, leave. Or things won't be pretty~!!!"
I give one last look around the room, everyone is looking away. The situation is jumbled. It's filled with a mix of emotions. I should never have swung that blade, I shouldn't have let my determination get the better of me...
