Chapter 14
I dedicate this chapter to avocadoman112 because I'm just picturing a man made out of avocados now... XD

SARAH POV (point of view)
I wake up pretty early in the room, and I gasp. Sally's gone.
I shake Chelsea awake, and yell at her to get up.
"Hagraphggkfgke," She groans. Her hands try to slap me slowly and blindly. That doesn't work very well.
"GEEEEEET UUUUUPP!!" I roar. I can have a loud voice.
"Hey! What was that for!" She holds her hands to her ears.
"It was for that." I point to Sally's empty sleeping spot.
"She's gone!" Chelsea exclaims. We cry for a few minutes.
"Where could she have gone! It was locked all night!" Chelsea says sadly.
"Or was it..." I say.
"Hmm," Chelsea agrees.
"Let's check."
We walk down the hallway to a closed tunnel.
"We're gonna starve down here! Let us ooouuuutt!" Chelsea shouts. She then trips and falls onto something. "Ow. But I tripped on it, and it fell in the ground-" She looks up and sees what I'm seeing.
"It was a giant button! We can get out of here!" I say excitedly.
We run up and out of the tunnel and push the lion down. We can make it look like we're still down there if they ever come to check.
Wait, I thought, My mom. What is she thinking right now? I hadn't even thought of her. Whoops, I thought, she can wait though.
We walk down to the woods and to my house, and my parents are still sleeping, so we sneak in my room in case they didn't check yesterday.
After a few silent minutes, I hear my dad walk to the bathroom, and after he's done, I hear him boom, "Good morning, girls!" Girls are now down to two, I thought sadly.
They didn't check, though! Success! We can escape and hope for the same luck!
So we do. Out the window, that is. My mom has a great fear of fires, so she put a fold-up ladder in my room. That is our way out, even though I have a fear of heights. It may be a small height, but a fall is very painful and harmful.
It takes a few minutes to get Chelsea to come with me. She makes points so good she almost talks me out of doing it. I said almost.
I go down first. The ladder shakes easily every time I put a foot down. I feel like Tris climbing the ferris wheel. Sorry, I love that book. I wouldn't call myself a fangirl, though.
Then Chelsea comes down, and she almost falls a few times. Especially when she says that she's gonna fall, she almost does.
When we're both down, we run away through the woods. We're ready. We can do this. They took two friends too many. And they will pay.
