Wow!!! I am sooo cruel................. First...

I am ignoring Ash for no reason at all if look it at his side

second..........I made him cry because I don't want to tell him my secret

third........I told him I'd show up at his birthday party

fourth............ I DIDN'T 

I know I don't have a choice but to do this..........

Flashback 

It was just a normal day in the amazing life of Gym leader Misty......Or so I thought.........There were already 2 challengers waiting for me.

Gosh!!! there are so many challenges coming these days!!!

After I finished it.........

"Finally I could breathe......."I said as I jumped on the couch holding my magazine to read it.."Misty!!!! I am going to the supermarket for shopping, you'll have to  take care of the gym."

Daisy said as picked up her purse.

"As if I don't do now...."I mumbled.

"Ok, I am going, bye sissy!!!"She yelled and left.

I sighed. Lily and Violet are always at their dance classes, shopping, yoga, etc and Daisy comes home when she is free. I live alone most of the time so it's not a big deal...

I fed my pokemon and started reading my magazine again. Then I heard a knock on the door.

"UGH !!!!! WHO IS IT NOW !?!?!?!"I yelled and went to open the door.'Please don't be a challenger, please don't be a challenger!!!'

I thought in my head and opened the door. I was shocked to see a man at the age around my father............ I actually don't know who my father is :p but I just assumed as he was pretty old...

He didn't look like a challenger nor a person in a good mood....."Excuse me...........?"I said nervously as well as trying to control my anger to throw him out with my mallet for ruining my evening...

"What do you want.......?"I asked hesitantly.

"You know my son.....Don't ya?"He asked...

"How am I supposed to know who IS your son really?"I said matter of factly

"Hmmm............ I hope you know Ash Ketchum..."He smirked.

WHAT !?!?!?! He is Ash's dad !?!?!

"y-your Ash's dad..?"I gulped."Yes" he replied

"what do you want from me?"I asked."I want you to STAY AWAY from Ash" He said in now, a serious look.

"WHAT !?!?! but why ?"I replied to his not-so-request."Because I don't like you"

"That's it.................? what's it to you liking me?"I replied, now not scared anymore.

"My son only stays friends with the one I want and you know what I think HE HAS GOTTEN some stupid FEELINGS for you," he said pointing at me.

"w-what !?!?! crazy talk what they say"I replied with a slight............no Bright blush forming on my face.

Ash....Mr. Dense Ketchum, like me

Misty water flower?

"Hmmm.............. I knew it'd be hard to do this.......................... But I know exactly what to do"He said with a devious smirk...

"w-what !?!"I said hesitantly." if you don't stay away from Ash, I will come after your family.......probably by taking down the gym or maybe..............killing them."

My eyes widened with shock and fear.

"and not just that I will remove Ash's memories of everything that has happened till now in his life," He said.

"W-what...............KIND OF FATHER ARE YOU !?!?!?!?!?!" I yelled at him... 

I can't believe he is his father! Why will Mrs. Ketchum marry such a man like him!?!? 

"I am just doing this because I want him to marry my best friend's daughter!! Serena Yvonne..." he said 

Wait......... Serena...? 

Isn't she one of Ash's friends? 

"she likes him but she is just so kind that's why we haven't told her and so will you! Now you better get to keep this thing as a SECRET THREAT, Missy" 

I growled and sighed... Why. Why... Why... I repeated the question in my mind......

still Misty's pov

I AM SO COWARD !!! but whatever.............

One day I might have to............tell him about this and I know it'll come soon. Why don't I just go to the police? right he told me it to...I have become a puppet of the father of the boy I like!! YIKES

No.No.No.No.No.No.No.No.

I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! I am going to tell someone!!!! maybe......Mrs.Ketchum

I picked my purse and went downstairs

"Hey, Daisy! can you drop me at Ash's?"I asked my sister who was sitting on the couch reading a magazine."Why don't you go yourself?"She asked lazily.

"I would love to!! if only I had a license!"I said matter of factly."Misty, you're old enough to get a license!!"Daisy retorted."DAISY I AM 16!!!!! Just take me there" I yelled at her, losing my temper as always.

"Ok fine fine" she gave up and stood up from the couch and grabbed her keys and I started heading out but then she suddenly stopped me.

"YOU CANNOT GO TO YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND'S HOUSE WEARING THIS!?!?!?" she complained.

"Ugh !!! Let's go already!!! and besides how many times do I have to tell you HE IS NOT MY FUTURE HUSBAND!"

Ash's pov

"WE ARE GOING CAMPING !!!!!!!!!"I yelled happily for the 100th time in an hour." ok ok we get it, Ash, you're excited"Clemont said sweatdropping at my yells.

" Alright alright, y'know I am just really excited about this camping" I replied to him. "I know I know," He said sighing. I wish Misty could come with us but May said she declined our invitation. Drew was right, there must be a reason why Misty is ignoring me and I wish I could find it out.

after all the preparations were done we all headed out towards the campsite, It was a nice place in the viridian forest....the same place where I met Misty.......

I sighed. Why am I worrying so much !? There must be something....but let's just enjoy the day and stop thinking about that... 

We all reached the campsite after a while of walking. Thankfully viridian forest is close by...I remember after on my first day as a pokemon trainer, Pikachu was completely healed, I, along with Misty and Pikachu went there to start the journey.

"Finally we're here !!"Bonnie jumped in joy as she stared at the beautiful campsite. It was indeed beautiful and full of greenery. I really wish Misty was here.....OH NOT AGAIN!!!!!!! I am really deep into my thought of her....................... I need to stop....and spend some time in nature.....just like old days

"Come on Ash !!! help us set up the camp !!"Serena cried out, snapping me out of my trance."Coming !!!"I said jogging up to the rest of my friends." this place is beautiful!!!"I said examining the whole area.

"Yeah!!! Thanks to Seren a who picked this place for our camp!!" clement said. I looked up at Serena who was a crimson red for.....I don't know what......poor Serena......I haven't been giving any attention to her the whole time... I hope I can make it up to her.......

"Let's set the fireplace !!!"Dawn said."yea...."I said getting out of my thoughts once again...

"Dawn, where's May?"Bonnie asked."Oh, she has gone out with Drew for a movie!!!!"Dawn said in a fangirly tone.

"SOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!!"Serena and Dawn squealed and Brock just laughed." that kid got a girl at this young age but I didn't..........." he said in a sad tone." that's because you flirt with every girl you meet"I laughed at him.

Really. HE LITERALLY FLIRTS WITH EVERY SINGLE GIRL HE MEETS 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂

"Except Misty..."I added."Cuz if I did she'd probably pitch me off a cliff." he said in a scared tone."True" and we both laughed

I was actually having fun for the first time since I came back to Kanto.

Everybody scattered into the forest either to look for things for the fireplace or just....walk except Serena and me, we were making sure when others are gone, no wild Pokémon attack and ruin the campsite.

"So.....Serena...."I tried to break the awkward silence that has been created in a short matter of time."I.......am really sorry..."I apologized.

"For what?" she asked with a small smile."I-..... I haven't been....a good friend to you recently....... and mean..... I never really talked to you or showed you around and even on my birthday I.......kinda ignored you... I was distracted with something else the whole time.....and I wish I can make it up to you someday......"I finished with a sigh...

"It's ok... I know you have your own stuff and you don't have time to hang out much.......besides......I can tell what I wanted to, here.....right?" she said."Sure!"I smiled.

"See Ash....." she took my hands in hers and continued...."I really REALLY like you.....and I have been liking you since we met in professor Oak's summer camp ..."

I stood there wide-eyed, I never expected That......... Or I never noticed that. "but I know you don't like me the way I do......" She smiled softly and continued "I also know that you love someone else and...... I am ok........ with it now....." 

Who does she think I like?? I barely even know the meaning of love..... 

"at first, I was jealous..... Really jealous... Then I realized... That you like her just the way I like you...... I should be happy for you instead of being sad for myself..." 

"But I don't like any girl......" I replied innocently. "Seriously Ash, May, and Dawn weren't lying when they said you were really dense." she laughed and I pouted playfully in response." I know you like Misty........so shut up," she said jokingly

wait...WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT !? I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH MISTY !!! am I............!? Maybe............ I am and haven't realized yet.......that's why I am so worried about why she's keeping things from me....because I LOVE HER...how can I be so dense !?

Misty's pov 

we reached the Ketchum household and I step out of the car. I knocked on the door several times and stopped when I heard a familiar voice of a lady "Coming !!".She opened the door and smiled when she looked at me."Good evening, Mrs.Ketchum!!" I said in a cheery tone.

"Good evening, Honey.......I am sorry, Ash and his friends aren't home right now....they went camping remember"She said gesturing me to come in."Oh no...I am actually here to talk to you..."I said smiling shyly." Me?? ok," she said, confused at first.

I entered the house and we both sat on the couch. " do you want anything? tea maybe.....?" Mrs.Ketchum asked me but I refused..." OH no, thank you.......I am here to discuss something important...." She nods her head in agreement." What do you wanna talk about...?"

I told her all about what happened between Ash's dad and me and how threatened me into staying away from....she gasped when I finished but the shocked look on her face didn't last long as it turned into rage as she stood up from the couch, her face was red with anger.

I've never seen Mrs.Ketchum this mad before so...I was quite a bit shocked.

"HOW DARE THAT MAN THREATEN YOU!!! HE HAS NO RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHOM ASH STAYS FRIENDS WITH AND WHO HE LIKES!!!" She said. 

"Umm......Mrs.Ketchum? Why you married someone like that in the first place?"I asked kinda backing out and sweat dropping at her anger."It was a mistake, honey.....the biggest mistake of my life.......We've been divorced and the laws said that Ash is only my child as he has done unspeakable crimes but he ran away before they could put him in jail...." she replied in a now, calmer tone

"Oh.........so Ash is legally your child?" I said curiously and then I gestured her to carry on so she did."But he still thinks he can control Ash.........don't worry I have a plan for him to stop doing what he is doing to you....and thanks for telling this to me which, you should've done earlier...."

She told me her plan and I nodded.

Meanwhile at the campsite,

Ash's pov

others haven't returned yet and I and Serena were just pacing around the spot, Pikachu on my shoulder as usual (A/N-bruh he ways 6kgs =_= Idk how you do that) But then I saw.........."MISTY !?!?!"we both were shocked to see her as she had cancelled her plan. To be honest, I was shocked and happy....

"ASH !!! SERENA !!! Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!"She ran towards us, panting heavily."Misty !!! I thought you were busy at the gym........."I asked her, trying to hide my happiness." I was..... But I am free now!!! "She chirped happily. My inner self was now jumping with joy. Misty is back!!!! "Pikachu-pi!!," Pikachu jumped into her arms and she caught him.

We 3 finally caught up, roaming around the forest....we gossiped about different things like how Misty was running the gym.... I and Serena also shared stories from our journeys in Kalos. Everything was perfect again!! But then......

"HOW DARE YOU!?!?!"We heard someone tell from the back, upon hearing the sound, we turned around to see who was the owner of the yell but my eyes widened at whom I saw."DAD!?!?"

"HOW DARE YOU NOT LISTEN TO ME!? YOU UGLY, RECKLESS GYM LEADER!!"He ignored me and yelled at Misty.HOW DARE HE!?!?

"Uncle!?"Serena was shocked too...yes he was her father's best friend.....don't blame , I found out a few days ago too...

"How dare you talk to her like that!?"I was suddenly filled with anger."WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE ANYWAYS AND WHAT'S IT ABOUT HER LISTENING TO YOU!?!?" I growled.

 "He threatened me that if I don't stay away from you then he'll kill my family, and remove your memories" Misty said, surprisingly calm and she continued "He wanted you to marry Serena but he thought that I am getting between you two so he threatened me" Now it seemed like she is wayyyyyy calmer. "WHAT!?"I and Serena screamed

"YOU HAVE NI RIGHT TO INTERFERE IN MY LIFE AND CHOOSE WHO I MARRY!!!!"I yelled at him. "Well-Well Ash,  that is not how you talk to your father"he told me giving me a slight slap."YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER!!"I yelled at him again but he just slapped me harder."HEY!!!"Misty stopped and now she wasn't calm anymore....was it because he hurt me?

"Now that you've broke your promise... I might as well do what I have to do..."he smirked as he stepped closer to me and I backed off in fear.....

"Stop right there!!"I heard a familiar feminine voice."mother!?"Today is full of surprises...really

Misty smirked."you didn't think I am that easy control, did ya?" Ha !! I knew that girl was a devil. "Delia!?"He turned around in surprise."WHAT ARE YOU-"He was cut off by my mother."HOW DARE YOU COME BACK IN MY LIFE AND TRY TO RUIN THE LIVES IF THESE INNOCENT CHILDREN!!?!?!"My mom was really angry and so was I.

" What are you gonna do about it?"he smirked at her. Without any hesitation, mother pulled out a gun."Mrs.Ketchum!?" Serena yelped."woah!! Mother when did you got that!?" my mom smirked."Y'know, your mother is amazing 😉,you kids better stay out of this,...and let the adults handle the situation."

"You're not gonna kill your husband, are you?"He asked not even a little bit scared."of course not-"My mother cut off by him."ha!, knew that!!"he laughed."heyyy!!! I won't kill you doesn't mean I won't shoot."her smirk got wider as a puzzled look took place of his (ugly) smirk.

BANG!!!!

Mother shot him in the leg and fell backwards?..just then officer jenny and her crew came and arrested him. They thanked us for helping him get arrested.Just then the others returned running."WHAT HAPPENED!?!?We heard a bang"Dawn said while making sure that we are all ok."MISTY!? MRS.KETCHUM!? What are you 2 doing here and why'd you have a gun Mrs.Ketchum!?"Brock panicked."Relax Brock!! Nothing bad happened....just some secrets were uncovered."I told him and we 4 laughed while the others stared in confusion.

Misty and mom stayed fo the rest of the camp and at night we lit up a bonfire and sat all around it after dinner.

"Ahem ahem!!"I said trying to get my attention."I.....wanna ask Misty....something...."I said and Pikachu nodded at me to give confidence."Misty.....will you.....ummm.....be my.....uhh"I stuttered."What Ash?"Misty asked. I took in a deep breath and said at once."MISTY WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND...?"I asked, my whole face turned red but...she smiled happily and said..."I'd love to!!! "I jumped up in joy was interrupted by her continuing."only if Serena is ok with it...."all of our gazes turned to Serena how just smiled and said jokingly."Heyyy!!, I don't want to be the one ruining a perfect couple!! Besides.... I've already found my TRUE love..."she blushed and turned to clement.

And in the end....EVERYONE WAS HAPPY!! Dawn also started dating Paul....never thought that he was the gf - bf type and especially Dawn.... I mean y'know but anyways... I was happy for them.
