The Next day

Ash just got up as he felt something cling on to him as its life depended on him, he opened his eyes cursing as he forgot to close the shutters of the window but be regretted doing so as his eyes sent on the honey blonde whose head was on his chest, sleeping peacefully without a care of the world, he silently took his phone from his bedstand to look at the time, " It's only 8, I guess I could sleep for some more time" he said to himself as he closed his eyes, Serena got up after a few minutes and nearly had a heart attack, her face so red that the scales of a Magikarp would look dull, her mind was set at getting up but her heart was not on the same page, her heart just wanted her to embrace the moment she had with Ash, unknown to her he was awake and was staring at her, a feeling of butterfree's flying through his stomach along with the warm feeling that he feels only when she is with him

"Hey Serena, good morning," he said breaking the silence as she suddenly got up her face red when he asked if she was running a fever or something, she sighed and got up from the bed and without uttering a word left to the washroom leaving him thinking what he did wrong

After a few hours we see both Ash and Serena at the restaurant having their breakfast, Ash was chomping down his breakfast wholeheartedly while Pikachu ate up his food which was dressed in ketchup, Serena was having breakfast but was looking astonishingly at Ash and Pikachu, very kind, Polite and Well mannered but at the sight of tasty food he forgets everything, "I guess the key to this man's heart is through his stomach" she thought to herself with a giggle but it was cut short when a bunch of wild Pokemon gathered around Ash, A bird type Pokemon perched itself on Ash's head, he petted it as he laughed,

"Hey guys," he said to the Pokemon, they all chirped, we then finished breakfast and we decided to go to the mall, but Rookidee didn't leave Ash's side so Ash let it sit perched on his right shoulder, Pikachu was on his left side as well, We walked through the mall, of course, Serena being the Kalos Queen and all dragged Ash and the 2 Pokemon from shop to shop, eventually picking up a few clothes on the way, Every time Serena would Ask him for his opinion Ash would have butterfree's flying through the stomach.

After a few hours they were walking through the streets of wyndon, Ash heard someone call his name, "Ash!" He heard, he turned Around as he got a bone-crushing hug from the girl, she was wearing light blue jeans, a teal coloured sleeveless top and white sneakers, Serena nearly had a heart attack when she hugged him, but a part of her thought that it was just a friendly gesture, a few moments later she pulled back and looked at me then snickered at Ash, "What's this Mr I'm not dense finally got a girl" she said, Serena blushed crimson as Ash had a blank face, "Leaf, for the millionth time, IM NOT DENSE" he said, Now you may think that he didn't listen to the next part, which is absolutely right, Serena and Leaf sighed as a new figure made it, He was wearing a Red tee, with black jeans and black and red sneakers, "Red!" Ash exclaimed as he gave him a firm handshake.

Both the groups were talking and walking Ash and Red were upfront having their conversations, Leaf and Serena were talking about fashion and stuff when leaf asked her" you like him don't you" leaf asked Serena, "Wh-what do y-you me-mean" Serena shuttered, "Come on, just admit it literally every girl in Pallet town has a crush on that kid" Leaf said, "Alright" Serena said in a very low tone, it came out as almost a whisper, "But it doesn't help that he's dense now, does it" Leaf asked, Serena, nodded with a sigh "Cheer up girl, you'll get there, I can tell that he likes you too, he probably doesn't understand it" Leaf said, "Really!" Serena exclaimed, leaf giggled at Serena's enthusiasm and nodded, as if on cue Ash called Serena as Red went to Leaf,

"You know Ash changed," Red said, "And why is that?", "Oh, you won't believe what he asked me," Red said excitedly to both him and Leaf, Ash was like a little brother, the three of them were like a family, always fighting but at the same time loving and caring, Red and Leaf were dating since their journey had started, occasionally they would meet Ash as well, Red was the champion of the indigo plateau but he resigned and took up a job as undercover spies along with leaf, they also had got the vacation offer from Lance for their work in Hoenn, "What did he tell you, dummy ?" She asked with a playful tone,

"he told about this feeling he had when he was with the girl, how he had butterfrees in his stomach and how his heart melts When he's with her and what not....basically he's in love with her and he doesn't even realise it," Red said the last part in a matter of fact tone, "OMA did he really say all his" leaf asked her boyfriend, "Oh, believe me, it's all true" Red confirmed, "We NEED to set them up," Leaf said, "Oh yes this is my speciality" Red joined as Ash and Serena turned around to see two giggling figures with cheeky grins on their faces, "Hey You two, well go and walk around and then we'll meet for dinner at The hotel later," Red said, "oh and Ash please try to be formal" Leaf added as they waved and left

"What was that about?" Serena asked, "Honestly I still don't understand those two" Ash said as Serena giggled, they both walked for some more time, eventually when it was time to go back to the hotel, Ash asked rookidee if he wanted to come along with Ash, which the latter gladly accepted, then Ash and Serena took their baths and got ready for dinner,

Ash was wearing a deep blue suit with a baby blue shirt, along with deep blue pants, since it wasn't that formal he didn't wear a tie, he left a button or two of his shirt open showing off ( without knowing i.e ) his well-defined chest just a bit, he also wore brown shoes to match the overall appeal, on his left hand was his Z-ring and he put his keystone pendant in the shirt.

Serena meanwhile was inside the washroom which was massive, she was wearing a teal coloured sleeveless one-piece dress ending at her knees, she wore deep blue platform heels, she wore a pair of diamond earrings, she also had her mega stone but it was a ring that she wore encrusted in a blue sapphire crystal which matched her blue eyes, her hair done beautifully, she then exited the washroom as she finished dressing to see Ash putting some cologne, he turned around and his face was completely red after looking at her, "Hey Serena, you look great" he said nervously, Serena giggled at his reaction and said, "you look really handsome yourself" She said he just blushed, even more, then both of them made their way to the restaurant.

"I knew those 2 were up to no good" Ash muttered under his breath, Leaf and Red booked a table under Mr & Mrs Ketchum, for Ash and set up a dinner date for the 2 of them, "Hey it isn't that bad now, is it ?" Serena said to cheer his mood, "No it isn't but still" Ash wanted to argue but he didn't he thought that maybe just maybe this was an opportunity to tell her his feelings, After his talk with Red he learned about everything that he feels, all the feeling that he had left to just one conclusion,

Her beautiful eyes that he could stare into for hours together, the beautiful honey blonde hair, the sweet scent and of course the food she used to make for him Back in Kalos when they had free time together, he just knew it, but one side of him feared that she wouldn't accept his feelings, what he didn't know was that Serena was going through the same mental argument.

Soon enough they were having a great time, they got up and walked to the balcony of their room, "Tonight was great, Especially the food" Ash said as he rubbed his belly, he had removed his coat so he was just wearing his shirt, "Yeah I had a great time as well" Serena said, "Hey Serena/Ash" both of them said at the same time, "You go ahead Ash" Serena said sweetly, "no it's ok, it's not like what I'm about to say is really that important" Ash waved, "No but I insist" Serena said closing any chance of arguing, "Alright.........lately Serena, I have been having these feelings, there's his warm feeling inside me, I feel relieved, I feel safe and calm, and" Ash paused, Serena had a shocked look on her face, The only thought on her head was about what he was about to say, "And Serena, I only experience these when I'm with you, true that I'm a teansy bit dense but this feeling, this feeling is love and all I want to say is that I like You Serena" Ash concluded looking down.

Serena was at a loss for words, her crush just proposed to her, no way in hell was she gonna say no to this, she's been waiting for this day since when she crushed on him, "it's ok if you don't feel the same way" Ash said disappointment clearly audible in his voice, Serena couldn't speak and so she let her actions do the talking by launching herself on to him putting her hands around his neck, pressing her lips on to his, Closing her eyes and enjoying her first kiss, Ash on the latter side was shocked, his eyes wide open before he put his hands around her waist and pulled her closer kissing her back, this was the best day of their lives.
