The Lost and Found
~ • ~
Changing cells was always one of the best experiences for SCP - Unnumbered. It was nice to be able to go on a long walk with a guard while making conversation. The white walls reminded SCP - Unnumbered of the hospital she went to before being taken here. Except, she had only seen a few doctors and only one every smiled at her.
SCP - Unnumbered was enjoying her walk, the cuffs on her wrists were looser than usual and she didn't have a weighted ball chain around her ankle. Of course, the SCP knew why she didn't have the ball and chain. The scraping noise, from her last trip, made her fall to the ground and have a seizure. If she hadn't been proven immortal, she most likely would've died.
Unfortunately, for SCP - Unnumbered, the guard that had been assigned to her seemed to lack the ability to communicate. The mean woman electrocuted her for no reason every 10 seconds. She was only walking beside her and trying to start a conversation. SCP - Unnumbered was starting to get angry, slowly losing her cool. Her body began to tremble as they stopped in front of her new cells open door.
The guard began to panic and slowly helped SCP - Unnumbered onto the ground. The SCP began to go into a seizure, or so it seemed. The guard placed her arms over the SCP trying to keep her body steady, while also trying to grab her walkie to call for help. SCP - Unnumbered began to grin widely, grabbing onto the guard's arm and beginning her change.
Slowly, the SCP's (s/c) skin turn a dark caramel, and her (h/l) (h/c) hair turned short and blue. Her clothes turned into the guard's clothes. After the SCP's change, the guard fainted. SCP - Unnumbered giggled and put the guard into her cell, relinquishing herself of the handcuffs in the process.
After the SCP's efforts, she turned the guard into an image of herself. Unfortunately, the only key detail one might miss, was the eyes. The eyes always remained the same. On her victims and on herself. So despite having the appearance of this awful guard, her eyes were still the shining (e/c) they've always been. The SCP removed the guards helmet and decided she'd hold onto it.
SCP - Unnumbered left the cell and locked the guard inside. She smiled and wiggled the helmet onto her new head and began to walk off. The SCP copied the behavior of the guard she had stolen the identity of. She kept her back straight and tried her best not to smile. At least, she kept up the act whilst passing guards.
However, when SCP - Unnumbered was out of the guards vision, she skipped and danced along, singing tunes and made up songs that would confuse the most insane people. A few D-class members of the facility would come visit her and listen to her songs and watch her play; they only truly participated when they were locked inside the glass enclosure with her. Of course, she was always sure to take good care of them.
"I fell in love in New York! A man stabbed me in the heart and said I looked beautiful covered in blood!" The SCP sang the unsettling tune in such a happy go lucky voice that it made the craziest of men shiver. "In love in New York covered in his blood!"
A chorus of whistles followed her tune as she continued throughout the halls. Surprisingly, they were empty. This was rare, due to the higher object classes in this certain facility. It was slightly unsettling to the SCP, but she allowed it to slip her mind. SCP - Unnumbered dropped her guard with the note that there wasn't anyone around.
"He kissed my wound and gouged out his and placed it in my hand! He proclaimed his love and fired a gun, his love was a confetti of blood!" She continued, doing a cartwheel, though, she found her new form not very capable of doing so and huffed angrily. The SCP began to pout and threw the helmet down the hall. She crossed her arms and growled, anomalistically. "His ghost said he hated me. Would've decapitated me. But instead he blew off his head!"
The SCP finished the tune with and aggravated scream, before walking over to the helmet and smashing it down on the ground again. When she lifted it off the ground again, she saw the concrete floor broken with pieces of it chipped and off to the side, along with the broken glass that was once a visor over the eyes. The SCP nervously bit her lip, knowing she'd be in big trouble for breaking the floor again.
"Uh oh... I think I lost cookie time for a month..." she pouted sadly, her anger leaving her. A soft tapping noise made her flinch and drop the helmet. The SCP perked up and saw a creature sitting there chained to a wall behind a glass frame. She tilted her head and approached the glass. She saw a tentacle near the glass, so she assumed that's what tapped it.
SCP - Unnumbered didn't want to ignore the sound that drew her to the creature, so she returned it's hello with a tap of her own. The SCP felt accomplished by her responsive tap and smile proudly. A deep chuckle erupted from the creature that sat restrained inside. She tilted her head again, curious, yet drawn to the creature. She pressed her stolen identity's flatter chest against the glass and stared.
"Cute~." The creature purred. The hat on the creature moved back, revealing a blank canvas with a sharp toothed smirk. The SCP furrowed her brows, confused at the sight, not having seen anything like this before. It was quite foreign to her, despite meeting a plethora of SCP's in her lifetime. "What's your name sweetcheeks~?"
"Please don't think of drawing her into your cage, I do not want to see you fuck a guard in front of me." Another voice growled. Turning, the SCP saw a creature of a similar appearance. This one wore a suit and it's white face was entirely blank of anything. Though, even without the features, the creature seemed to be glaring at the other creature, which only brought confusion to the curious SCP. SCP - Unnumbered shook her stolen head and turned back to the first creature, prepared to answer its question.
"I'm SCP - Unnumbered! I had a name before I came here, but I don't remember it! They called me a lot of things before sticking with Unnumbered though, it was a very confusing decade." The SCP rambled off, shaking her head and inhaling deeply. The creature seemed surprised, taken a back even. Both creatures she had seen were silent.
"Aren't you clever? Escaping your cell unnoticed. You stole a guards uniform~." The smirking creature praised the SCP. The praising made the girl excited, she began to smile brightly and trembled in her stolen body.
"I'm clever! Clever clever! I stole her identity! Not just her clothes!" The SCP cheered, craving more praise while she shifted back to her original look. The long (f/c) dressed surrounded her knelt person like a moat around a castle. Followed by her change in appearance, cards, papers and keys she had taken fell onto the ground.
"Wow. You're gorgeous." The creature said. The SCP smiled proudly and nodded. SCP - Unnumbered hadn't the slightest clue what the word meant, but he said the word so nicely she assumed it meant something good. The SCP was pleasantly ignorant and happy that way. She had the persona of a puppy and the looks of a goddess.
"Oh my, that dress is beautiful." A new voice spoke up. Turning, the SCP saw another creature, one that looked like the one that resided behind her in the suit. This one wore something different though and had glasses. The SCP smiled at his compliment, at least that's what she had assumed it was, and wiggled excitedly like a dog.
"I wanna see her!" A childish voice pouted in a short distance. The SCP perked and crawled over to the next cell, quickly seeing another one in a rainbow dotted suit. He had a face and a big smile. It was quite contagious as it made the SCP smile too. After the short visit she crawled back to the first one with the hat.
SCP - Unnumbered suddenly noticed the items that had fallen onto the ground. She picked them up and examined them. Then, like an animal, she bit one. Her face grimaced and she made a sound of disgust.
"No you imbecile, those are the keycards that open the door. Use them to get us out of here." The Slenderman barked at the SCP. Normally, she would cry, but these creatures were just as stuck in this place as she was. SCP - Unnumbered began to growl anomalistically, her eyes turning a bright orange.
"Calm down, sweetheart. Can you please use those cards to get us out of here?" The Offenderman soothed, asking the question more gently. The SCP - Unnumbered immediately calmed. She pulled out the cars of all the items and held them against the glass.
"I can't read..." The SCP admitted quietly, clearly embarrassed. She shifted uncomfortably, her cheeks flushed pink in her embarrassment. Offender smiled gently at her and stretched on of his tendrils out, pointing at the one in the center.
"That's alright, cutie~ the card in the center. Just swipe it and you'll use those keys there to get me out alright?" Offender cooed, continuing to further his chance of escape. SCP - Unnumbered rose carefully from where she knelt and went over to the door. She swiped the card and heard a loud honking sound. It was the usual sound that the doors made before they opened, so she looked unalarmed.
SCP - Unnumbered pushed the sliding door to the side and wobbled into the room. She held the keys in her small hand and went over to the creature. The girl examined him while she started testing the keys.
"Are you a fisherman?" She asked, not pinning his clothing to anything else she could think of. The creature chuckled and shook his head. One of his tendrils slowly wrapped around her ankle.
"Get her out of there!" A doctor suddenly shouts as guards come rushing in, tazing Offender and grabbed SCP - Unnumbered. The creature grunted in pain and let the female go as she began to get dragged away.
SCP - Unnumbered began kicking and screaming, mad. She began shouting angrily about the mean lady and that she just wanted to go on a walk and how mean they were for dragging her away from her new friends. The SCP was put in cuffs and was handed over to the doctor while the guards collected the items from Offender's cell and secured it.
"Do you have any idea what you could've done?!" The doctor shouted at the girl. A loud bang was heard throughout the hall, despite the sound of the other creatures fighting against the chains. The SCP winced, her eyes tearing up. The doctor had slapped her and everyone went still. "These creatures are dangerous and would've killed us all! You're lucky you're expendable or else we would've killed you years ago!"
SCP - Unnumbered stayed there, frozen and trembling. She wasn't crying, though she was close to. There was pain in the eyes that glared into the doctors. The doctor did nothing but scoff and rub his temple. He turned from those soft, begging eyes and cleared his throat.
"You. Bring her to her cell, then make sure the guard she stole the identity of is taken to the medical bay." The doctor said, pointing to a random guard. The guard nodded and grabbed the SCP, dragging her away. The doctor sighed and walked off, annoyed and pissed.
SCP - Unnumbered then remembered why she hated it so much there.
