reverieluxastor Honestly, I can't believe how much I'm loving my pregnancy body this time around. I thought I would feel self-conscious or unattractive, but instead, I'm embracing every change and enjoying every moment. Maybe it's because I didn't think I'd get this chance again, and now that I have it, I'm soaking it all in. Feeling grateful for this journey, for this new chapter, and for the little life growing inside me. Cherishing each day with love and appreciation. 🫶✨🤍

Reverie shifted in the passenger seat, the familiar ache in her back reminding her that the third trimester was as challenging as everyone said it would be.
But today was different. Today, she felt lighter, happier. It wasn't just the shopping spree or the delicious lunch they had shared; it was the unexpected company of Khloe that had made the day special.
Reverie looked out the window at the busy city streets, the late afternoon sun casting a warm glow over everything, and realized she was actually enjoying herself.
It had been a while since she and Khloe had spent time together. As close as Khloe and Rob were, the same could not be said for Khloe and her. Their relationship had been friendly but distant, defined more by fleeting holiday gatherings and family meetings than by genuine one-on-one time.
But today, Khloe had taken the initiative to change that, and Reverie couldn't help but feel touched. Especially with how much the Kardashian-Jenner sisters adored her, particularly Kendall, who often called just to talk or share a silly story. It felt nice to know that they saw her in a good light, even if she was still getting used to the limelight herself.
"Do you want to stop at that shop on the corner?" Khloe asked, glancing at Reverie with a bright smile. "They have the cutest baby clothes. I bet you haven't picked out anything in a while."
Reverie chuckled, her hands resting on her round belly. "I think we've already gotten enough for this little one," she said, her voice laced with amusement. "But thank you for doing this, Khloe. It really means a lot to me."
Khloe's eyes softened, and she pulled the car to the side of the road. "I know I haven't made the effort to be close to you, and I'm sorry for that," she said, turning off the engine. The admission caught Reverie off guard, and she found herself blinking back a sudden rush of emotion.
"Oh, Khloe," Reverie said, her voice gentle, "it's okay. We've both been busy, and it's hard to make time for everything."
Khloe's expression turned serious, and she turned to face her. "I know, but that's not an excuse. I've always known you were good for Rob. He's happier than I've ever seen him, and you deserve to know that we see you for the incredible woman you are."
Reverie's heart swelled at Khloe's words, a mixture of gratitude and surprise washing over her. Rob's family was everything to him, and knowing that Khloe, his sister, acknowledged that she was good for him meant more than she could say. "That's really sweet of you," she whispered, reaching out to touch Khloe's hand, feeling the strength in her fingers.
Khloe squeezed her hand and smiled, the corners of her eyes crinkling in a way that made her look even warmer. "We should have done this sooner. But, hey, better late than never, right?" She winked playfully before reaching into the backseat and grabbing their ice cream cones. The cool, sweet smell of vanilla and chocolate wafted up, mixing with the subtle scent of the city air.
They sat on the hood of Khloe's car, the two women licking their ice cream and watching as people walked by, some glancing at them with recognition and curiosity. Reverie felt the sugar soothe her, but it was the casual, easy presence of Khloe that really made her feel at peace. This was what she'd been missing, she realized. These moments of genuine connection and the promise that maybe, just maybe, they could build a real relationship outside of the family drama.
"So," Khloe said, breaking the silence, "Kendall and Kylie are obsessed with you, huh?"
Reverie laughed, the sound light and carefree. "They really are. I think it's because I'm not just another in-law. I'm the 'special' girl, the one who's married to Rob, and they just think it's fun to have someone different around."
Khloe's lips curled up into a smirk, and she raised an eyebrow. "Well, you've got some serious clout if you've got them wrapped around your finger. Kendall never shuts up about you. It's always, 'Have you talked to Reverie today?' or, 'Reverie said this, and I loved it.' It's kind of cute, really."
Reverie's cheeks turned pink at the admission. "They're sweet," she said, feeling the weight of the compliment settle into her chest. "But it's not like I'm anything special. I just try to be myself, you know?"
Khloe looked at her, eyes searching, and for a moment, the playful facade slipped. "That's what I want to see more of. I want to know the real you, Reverie. Not just the one who shows up at parties or the one who's married to my brother. I want to know what makes you tick, what dreams you have, what you want out of life."
Reverie looked at Khloe, surprised by the depth of her question. For a moment, the noise of the city seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them on the car hood, bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun. "I don't think anyone's ever asked me that before," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I guess I'm just trying to figure it out. I'm so focused on this baby right now, and Rob, and making sure everything's perfect that I haven't really thought about what I want outside of that."
Khloe's face softened, a rare vulnerability crossing her features. "Don't forget to dream for yourself, Reverie. Being a good wife and mom is great, but you deserve to have your own passions too. When I first started out, I had no idea what I wanted other than to make sure my family was okay. But I learned that if you don't take time for yourself, it can eat you up."
Reverie nodded, taking in Khloe's words. It was easy to get lost in the roles she played—wife, soon-to-be-mother, member of a high-profile family—but she realized she had let her own dreams get buried in the shuffle. What did she want? And how could she hold onto that while being everything else she needed to be?
"I'll think about it," Reverie promised, smiling at Khloe with newfound determination. "Maybe it's time I start thinking about what makes me happy outside of being Rob's wife and the baby's mom."
Khloe grinned, her eyes sparkling. "That's the spirit. And hey, if you ever need someone to help you figure it out, I'm right here."
They spent the next hour talking, laughing, and sharing stories. Reverie found herself opening up about her childhood and the dreams she once had, the ones that had gotten lost in the shuffle of life. Khloe listened, nodding, and shared her own stories in return, stories of learning to balance family, work, and personal happiness. It felt like a bridge was being built, a connection being forged that could last a lifetime.
When the sun had dipped low, and the city lights began to twinkle in the distance, Khloe finally stood up and stretched. "Okay, I need to get back to my place. But let's do this more often. Maybe next time, I'll come to you."
Reverie stood, feeling a warmth she hadn't known she needed. "I'd like that," she said, a smile blossoming on her face. "Thank you for today, Khloe. It meant more than you know."
Khloe hugged her tightly, the gesture genuine and strong. "Anytime, sister. And remember, I'm just a call away."
As Khloe drove off into the fading sunlight, Reverie stood there for a moment longer, the cool breeze ruffling her hair. For the first time in a long while, she felt like things were going to be okay—not just for her and Rob, but for her, too. She felt seen, understood, and connected. And that, she knew, was priceless.
