Chapter Five: "I'm Surprised You Remember Me, You Were Only Five." (Editing)

I can sum up my life in two words; messed up. I blankly stare at the bright screen in front of me. I sightly sigh, wondering what to type up for the next line. Instead of toasting my brain more, I looked outside the window, on the left side of me. I couldn't get a good view of the sinking sun. Radiant warm colors escaped through green leaves on every branch. The sun setting is my favorite time of day. The warmth of the sun lingered. My blue eyes turned back to the computer screen, reading what I've got so far. I decided to write a clingy love story, so far here's what I got:

'"Ow, my eye," he winced, a hand over his eye.

"What's wrong?" I ask worryingly.

"There's something in my eye, do you see it?"

I look into his beautiful Hazel nut eyes. The eyes, I almost fell for, but gladly didn't. Or at least I thought.

"No, I don't see anything," I say, confused.

"Can you see it?" He hesitated a bit, "It's my love for you,"

I slightly squint at him, in annoyance.

"No, the only thing I see is lust," I retort, "This is stupid."

"I was practicing. I thought I would impress you," faking his sadness by holding his heart as if he was suffering from an heart attack.

"A cheesy pick up line. Plas-tic!" with a Filipino accent.

When I said 'Plastic', it just meant he was fake.

'Now, let's give this guy a taste of his own medicine,' laughing evilly inside.

"Doesn't your left eye hurt?" I was smirking.

His face scrunched up.

"I'm confused. Don't pull anything in me," eyeing me suspiciously.

"I'm not I promise," lying, like a rug.

"Okay," he doubtfully nodded, "So why were you thinking my left eye hurts?"

"Because you've been looking right all day,"

It took a moment for him to realize what I said. Suddenly I found a smirk on his gorgeous face.

"I saw what you did there," with a stupid grin on his smug face.

"I learn from the best sweetheart," referring to him.

"You should really go to the doctor. Are you sure you're feeling well?" suddenly looking worried, as if I just announced I had a sickness with no cure.

"Yeah. Why?" I knew where this was going.

"Because you seem to be lacking vitamin me,"

This was our little game, between me and him. A game where I didn't know where it would end. Or if I ever wanted it to end.'

I cringed, no kidding. I rather be writing a story where someone's eye ball got poked out by a fork.

Beep beep beep

"Shut up you fucking piece of shit!" I shot back at my phone

Ever since I lost Pacific, she was the only thing on my mind. Not even writing could cure my depression. Even a kiss from Coal didn't make any difference.

"I'm sorry I couldn't. . .do anything," he hesitated.

Lost for words, I stood at my doorstep. I gasp, when Coal slid his hand around me. With our own eyes locked, he took the opportunity to kiss me on my forehead. I remember my "big brother" I used to play with when I was five, usually at the school playground.

"I remember you. You used to play with me when I was young, didn't you Coal. You used the same words and actions when you couldn't get my balloon back from a little boy," putting the pieces together.

"I'm surprised you remember me, you were only five. Please cheer up," cupping my face.

I was about to lean against his touch knowing I can trust him when I remembered Pacific's face. To his surprise, I roughly pushed him away. Trying to maintain his balance, he stumbled back.

"I'm so sorry!" I blushed, helping him up.

"No. Your hurt and you need time. Go get some rest," he smiled, patting my head once he got up.

He always treated like a little sister, even up to now, I'm glad there are still guys out that doesn't think about getting into someone's pants. He didn't yell or get mad at me.

Beep beep beep

I jump onto my bed, screaming into my pillow. Checking my phone, I noticed I missed many messages from my online friends. I don't even go and check Kik because I know I'll only be receiving pictures of guys junk.

I have four close online friends, I used to have so many but our ties were cut. Surprisingly I have my own heartbreaks online. Two to be exact. They weren't accepted as real relationships since they were only role play but as always, the guy takes it too seriously and thinks we are actually dating.

I had a wonderful big sister named Leah who always warned me not to talk to strangers despite the fact we were strangers ourself. We were really close.

"You never know, the girl who you were talking to, maybe a boy wanting to get laid," is her saying.

We rarely talk, but when we do, it lasts forever.

Lastly, I was close to a girl named Nana. We had the same passion in writing and boy problems. I would always think we were twins from different mothers but our relationship didn't end well. Nana was actually a boy named Daniel. I cut our ties once he confessed he didn't have any way to get closer to me.

Out of the four people I still talk to online, I was incredibly close to a boy named Michael. He was six year my senior. I would date him but the age gap was overwhelming. I decided to have a sister and brother relationship with him. Warning, he's a clingy sweet perverted marshmallow. I was given a Valentine poem, he promised to give long ago.

'In this color drained world, there is this shining glimmer of hope. Eye's as vibrant and as free as the summer sky. Eyes that can't melt a man's heart at a glimpse. Her long dark hair glows in the sunlight. Her figure is unparalleled. It's sead to swoon a man with
a shake of her hips. Her voice is so clear. It's almost angelic. I've met this girl. A long while ago I'd say. She's like a little sister but entices me to want her as much more. This innocent being has no name. She is a goddess among men. And I, till the day I die, will watch over and protect her with my mind, body, and soul.'

Cringe worthy and totally impressive. It's a fact, I don't deserve Michael.

Brian and Julia, my online best friends, are dating. I'm close but I don't usually talk to them. I would either be bothering or be the third wheel.

Ruining my train of thought, my mom decides not to knock and disturbed my privacy.

"Hi mom?"

When she came into my room, sweat was dripping on her forehead and her hair was a mess with a surprisingly excited look on her face.

Finally catching her breath, she gave me unexpected news.

"We are moving to New York!"
