Max's Pov

I woke up tired as ever. I saw it was still morning night. Wow, I've never woken up at this time before. It's really early right now.

I got up from my dog bed, and stretched while yawning. Doesn't seem I can go back to sleep, so I'll just have to stay up I guess.

I sat by the window and thought about my date with Gidget today. Where should I take her? Or does she have something planned this time? Well whatever it is, I'll be glad it's with her. I remember when I first met her. I just moved in with Katie, and I met her next door from me, talking through the window.

Flash Back:

"Hey there!" Gidget greeted.

"Oh, hi." Max said.

"So, you must be my new neighbor?"

"Uh yeah. I just moved in with my new owner Katie."

"Well I welcome you to our neighborhood!"

Max chuckled. "Wow you must be really energetic."

"Yeah. I like to greet others and make friends. It's sorta like a hobby I like to do, and watch Romance on TV."

She looked up to space, somewhere.

"Also, I've always dreamt of finding my true love. Others might not believe in that sort of stuff, but I do. And someday I'll find him."

"...Okay. That's nice I guess. I've always wanted to gaze from atop the skyscraper with someone, but I've never really had friends until I met Katie. All my brothers and sisters left long before I found my home." Max frowned.

She also frowned. Then her face lit up.

"Hey I can be your friend!" she said.

"Wait what!?" Max asked, startled.

"I can be your friend. We can talk to each other through our windows, like we're doing now."

"Oh, w-well, I guess we could be friends."

"Great! My name's Gidget."

"Uh, m-my name's Max."

Gidget giggled.

"Your cute when you're nervous."

Max blushed.

"W-well uh-"

"Well I got to go. My owners will be taking me to get me an accessory for my fur. So talk to ya later. Bye!" She ran off.

"Okay. Bye."

Flash Back Ended

Back to Max's Pov

"Huh, she's always been energetic since the day I met her." I said to myself.

I looked at the clock, and the time said 6:30. Woah, how times flies when your doing other things. -yawn- And I'm tired again. Whatever. I walked to my dog bed, layed down and got some more sleep.

Time Skip Afternoon...

"Hey Max!" Duke yelled. I woke up and felt my ear drums pounding.

"Why are you yelling?!" I asked. "I'm right here!"

Then I here a familiar giggling. I turn my gaze at the window. Gidget was on the windowsill.

"I asked him to wake you up," she said, giggling.

"Well my job here is done," Duke said, walking to his bed, and falling asleep.

I groaned.

"So I'm guessing you woke me because of..." I gestured to her red bow.

"Oh yeah! Yeah, the date," she said. "Also, I found us a place, too."

"Oh really?"

She nodded.

"Okay. Um, where exactly?"

Then I heard the sound of flapping wings, and Tiberius flies in and lands by Gidget.

"It's all ready," he said.

"Already? Man that was quick," Gidget said.

"Uh Gidget," I called. They turned their attention to me.

"What exactly is ready? And why is Tiberius apart of it?"

"Aaaaaahhhhh oh whatever," I said.

Gidget and I were being carried off in the air by Tiberius. I was being held in a hawks claws, and my girlfriend is riding on her best friends back. So, I really don't think there's any need of screaming anymore, considering I went skydiving.

"So, where are we going!? I asked Tiberius.

He look down to me and said, "You'll see soon enough!"

"Don't worry Max!" Gidget said to me. "I planned this all out!"

Gidget look forward and gasped.

"Max we're here!" she yelled to me.

I also look forward and looked in awe. It was the skyscraper, and on it I saw a dinner table? We landed on our destination. I stood looking over 99th building, gazing over New York.

"Want to know what we're having for dinner?" Gidget asked.

I nodded in response.

On the table was a coupe serving tray. Tiberius flew over it and lifted the lid, and I saw spaghetti and meatballs. Wow, Lady and the Tramp much?

"I'll let you two be," Tiberius said, before flying off.

"So, spaghetti and meatballs, huh" I said. "Very romantic."

"You said you wanted to try it before," Gidget said. "So now's your chance."

I took a whiff of it. It smelt really good. I ate some of it. It tastes even better.

"I'm guessing you like it?" she asked.

"Wow this is so good," I said, in awe.

"Then I'll join you."

We both ate for a while. I've never tasted something so good before. I slurp up a lot of noodles and have a couple of meatballs with the marinara sauce. I started slurping up one noodle, until I kissed Gidget. We both blushed.

"Was bound to happen sometime," she said. I chuckled. True.

After we are all the spaghetti and had an equal share of meatballs, huh convenient, we started gazing over the night time of New York City.

"When I first met you, you said you wanted to gaze upon New York City," Gidget said.

"Yeah I did, but I changed my mind," I responded. She looked at me confused.

"I then wanted to gaze upon New York City, with you. And now I got my chance."

I smiled at her. Gidget smiled back. She nuzzled into my neck and closed her eyes and I layed my head on top of her head. We stayed like that for less than half an hour, but it felt like two hours. I was lost in the beauty of New York, and I was glad to be sharing it with Gidget.

"Max?" she asked suddenly.

"Yes Gidget?" I replied.

"Do you ever think anything will get between us?"

I opened my eyes in thought. Then I pulled her face towards mine.

"No," I finally said. "Nothing will ever get in between us."

I gave her a quick kiss on her muzzle, and said, "I promise."

"What if one of us cheat on one another?"

"That will most definitely never happen. I will never cheat on you Gidget. I promise you that very much."

She licked my cheek.

I then asked, "You know what would be a perfect time for?"

"No what?" she asked.

I whispered in her ear, then she blushed.

"Uh I-I don't think we should do that when Tiberius might come back."

"We can make it quick."

"But I don't want it to be quick." She said seductively. My eyes widened.

"Uh h-how so?"

"Well, I want the moment to be as long as possible. I want you to give me the most pleasure. I want it to be unforgettable. Maybe even to make me scream your name to the whole neighborhood."

"...Okay. You want a lot for that to happen."

"Mmhm, and so much more."

I then heard the sound of flapping.

"Guess it's time to go," I told Gidget.

"Yeah, but don't worry," she said,"we'll get to that stage sooner or later."

I gulped.

Tiberius then landed, and said, "Flight back home leaves in one minute."

Gidget got on his back and I held on to his legs, and we finally flew home.

Alright as I said, I made the next chapter more about Max and Gidget. The next chapter will be Christmas themed. I just went on Winter Break, so I'll try to finish up the next chapter near Christmas, but not after. Thank you guys for over 1,000 reads. It really means a lot to me.
