Chapter Two

Chapter Two // Panic Attack

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

"Now, Kamila, the good daughter is ending; how do you feel about it," Jimmy asked me.

I pouted.

"It's bittersweet," I answered.

"Is it? The show has been on for nearly six years; I'm sure you had some hard times on set," Jimmy said.

"I enjoyed my time on the show; yes, there were moments where I felt overwhelmed, but I had a fantastic cast and crew that became like family to me," I said.

"Speaking of family, how do you feel about Kourtney and Travis' engagement?" Jimmy asked.

I wanted to slap the smile off his face, but instead, I smiled and nodded as the audience clapped at the mention of Kourtney and Travis.

"This is Kourtney's first engagement. It is a beautiful time, and I'm sure they'll be coming up with a perfect wedding. I'm happy for them," I answered, lying through my teeth.

"Is there a chance you'll be a part of the bridal party?" Jimmy asked.

"Not likely," I replied.

"Is there any way we can get you to be involved in the Kardashians' upcoming Hulu show?" Jimmy asked me.

The audience cheered.

I shook my head.

"No, I like watching reality television, not being a part of it," I responded.

"Awe, man. We would have loved to see your personal life, especially the romance department of your life; by the way, how's that going?" Jimmy asked me.

"It's going good; we're both private people, so, no," I said.

Jimmy pouted, "Awh, come on!"

Jimmy kept pressing about my relationship with Bill, and I started to feel uncomfortable.

I could feel that I would have a panic attack, and I didn't know what to do or how to act.

"She said no," Bill said, walking out, grabbing my hand, helping me up.

He gestured to the exit, and we began walking, leaving people stunned. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me close for protection.

"This is going to be all over the news, Bill," I told Bill as my manager ran over with my bag and security surrounded us.

"I don't care," Bill said, "your safety is what I care about right now," He added.

We got in the unmarked SUV when I began panicking. Bill pulled me onto his lap, comforting me. I started crying.

"I got you. I'm right here," He whispered.
