Alex POV

I finally look at Denis. He has tears in his eyes. "How can I choose? I like you too Alex, but Corl and I kissed. I like him too." He says, choking on his words. "Denis..." I start. He leans and kisses me. The door suddenly opens and I see Corl standing in the doorway, his face red and dripping with tears. Oh no. "Braden I-" Denis starts. But Corl turns and runs away before he can say anything. Denis runs after him leaving me helpless and alone.

Corl POV

I run away from my worst fear. Denis with someone else. I regret ever telling him. The only reason he knows is cuz I told him when I thought he was going to die. I keep running. I jump into my car. I start to drive home. No I can't go home. They will all know where I went. I drive to the next town. I will just keep driving till I get somewhere. I sigh. Denis went to Saskatchewan to get away from us. I have to go farther, and tell no one.

Denis POV

I am in my car driving. I am going to go to Corls house first. When I get there his car Isn't there. I don't know where else he would go. I decide to text him.

Me: Corl where are you? We need to talk!

Corl: I am leaving

Me: plz don't. I love you. I can't live without you.

I start to cry. It's true. I really do love him.

Corl: do you really love me?

Me: of course!!!!!

Corl: then why did you kiss Alex?

I cry harder. I don't regret kissing Alex but it hurt Corls feelings and I love Corl.

Me: I am sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. Can we talk about this in person?

Corl: fine. Meet me in the coffee shoppe.

Me: cya there. Thanks buddy.

I put my phone down and start to drive to the coffee shoppe. It's right in the middle of two towns. I feel relieved that I convinced him to see me.

Corl POV

I was already in the coffee shoppe when I told Denis to meet me here. Now I wait.

I see him walk in. I start to shake.

Alex POV

I finally am allowed to get out of the hospital. Lucky I only had minor injuries. I get into my car and start to text Denis.

Me: where is Corl? Do you know?

Denis POV

As I walk into the coffee shoppe I get a text from Alex. I stop and look at it.

Alex: where is Corl? Do you know?

Me: yeah

I look up at Corl. Then turn my head back to my phone.

Me: he is in the coffee shoppe.

Alex: I will meet you there

Me: ok..

Corl POV

Denis just stopped and started texting someone. Right as he walked in. This made me mad. I ran to the bathroom and locked the door.

Denis POV

I look up from my phone. Corls gone. I panicked. No! I lost him again! Well he couldn't have gone outside cuz I am by the door so he must have gone to the bathroom. I start to walk towards the bathroom. Suddenly I hear a loud bang and feel a sharp pain in my head. Then everything goes black.

Corl POV

Omg I think I just heard a gunshot!!!!! I run outside, hoping Denis wasn't shot. But as I get outside I see him on the ground bleeding. "NO!!!!" I yelled! Then I hear another gunshot, feel a sharp pain in my head, and hear a person say "I am coming for the Pals. One, by, one." Then everything goes black.

Sorry but I needed some action. Who do you think the gunman should be? I have no idea. Anyway that's all for now! So Pika out! 😜
