Part 1.

Hi, my name is Cherry! I'm 12 years old and I have a secret, a huge one. Nobody but me knows. I have a Cherry Quartz gem on the back of my left hand that I hide with my fingerless glove. Some people have asked me why I only wear one glove but I just ignore them, flick my fringe back over my left eye and keep doing what I was doing. My hair is dirty blonde with a red streak in it. When my parents found out about it they were very angry because they thought I had dyed it, but it had just been there but I couldn't tell them so I just went with it, apologized for not asking for their permission and it was fine. My eyes are dark green. I like drawing, writing, singing and dancing, but don't EVER call me a girly girl. I go to River Bridge School with my best friend Alex.

When I arrived at school I started to look around to find Alex. When I finally found her it was time to go to class. I pulled out my timetable and looked for what subject I had first.
Hm, It's an A week so Maths is first. Yippee...But, on the upside, I have art and physics! Ugh, and HE... Way to ruin my day!
As I was checking my time table, someone walked into me, causing me to drop my timetable. I bent down and picked it up but the same person shoved me back down causing me to fall over and drop my timetable again. Alex had been watching this so she ran over to me and helped me up. I looked at the person had shoved me. Great, this was Richard Rebson. "Well, well, if it isn't little Cherry. What are you gonna do today? Draw pegasi and fairies? Hmph, they dont even exist! Everyone knows magic doesn't exist!"
"If only he knew' I thought to myself. We ignored him and continued on to our Maths class. Our class was the 4th room on the 1st floor. Alex and I walked in and sat down next to each other. "Hello Class!" I heard a cheery voice say. I'm going to assume this is our teacher. "My name is Miss Gala, you may already know that, but as we haven't met before, I don't know any of you! So I had an idea. We are going to go around the class alphabetically, and when it reaches you, please come up to the front of the classroom and tell me a bit about yourself. Forgive me if I say your name wrong." She said again. We started going around alphabetically until she reached me. I stood up and walked to the front of the room confidently. I really wanted to be on this teachers good side. "Hi, my name is Cherry and I like drawing and writing. It's nice to meet you." I spoke clearly. "It's nice to meet you too Cherry, but could you take off that glove?' She said, gesturing to my left hand. "You aren't allowed jewelry in school." I felt myself suddenly freeze. I could feel myself shaking and cold sweat running down my face. I instinctively grabbed my left hand protectively, so she couldn't take it from me. "I'm sorry miss, but I need to keep my glove on." I said shakily. "Do you have a reason why you need this glove so badly?" She said rudely. I was beyond nervous, I felt like I could collapse at any second from a stress induced mental breakdown. " Yes, I do." I said. "Would you like to fill in the class on this reason?" She said fiercely. It had gotten to the point where Alex looked like she was worried for me. I could see her exchanging glances with Samantha, one of my other close friends. They look at me as if to ask, Are you okay?, However, when I looked at the teacher I saw the exact opposite. She was staring- no, glaring at me. "N-no, I would not." I said, unsure if this was a good idea. I suddenly had a headache. "Can't... See..." I whispered to no one in particular. I could see things in my mind, these were... possible outcomes to the situation? That's confusing. Before I got a chance to look at them I was snapped back to reality by Miss Gala lifting my hand. As I tried to pull my hand away from her, she caught my glove. The class gasped in unison, nobody had ever seen me without my glove. My heart stopped for a split second. Oh no. Before she could say anything, I put my hand in my pocket and ran out of the room as fast as I could. I ran and ran until I reached a tree that I liked to climb whenever I felt angry or sad. It always calmed me down and it meant if Samantha and Alex came to look for me they would know where to look. I climbed up the tree, digging my feet into the little bumps, using them like a climbing wall. I made to the part where I could sit in and dug in my pockets. In my pockets I found a piece of paper and a random pencil. I was about to draw when I glanced at my hand. I barely ever take off my glove, not even when I sleep. It's basically a part of who I am now. I never really look at my gem, but it looked beautiful in this lighting. The peachy undertones were shining through the pink.*sigh* Sometimes I wish I didn't have to keep this a secret. If I didn't I could have avoided this whole situation. As I was thinking, I was ripped out of my thoughts by people calling my name. I didn't think this was a familiar voice, but then I realized:

This was Miss Gala.
