"Bye mom, see you this afternoon," I said to my mom as I got out the car. I made my way to the front doors of the school. Halfway there I was soon stopped by somebody shouting my name. I assumed it was Kady, just because we always arrive at school around the same time.

"Hey Brynlee," she shouted. I turned around and waved at my best friend. I stood at the door and waited for her to catch up. When she got to the door I embraced her in a warm hug.

"Good morning my beautiful ray of sunshine, how are you this wonderful morning," Kady asked blissfully. I opened the doors to the school and walked in with Kady right by my side. Our arms were linked together as we walked through the hallway.

"I'm doing splendid this wonderful morning; I've had a good nights rest and a coffee to make it through the day," I said cheerfully. "How about you."

"Just fine; I stayed up all night catching up on Once Upon A Time, and now I'm ready for the new season," she enthused.

"All night," I asked surprisingly. I knew this shouldn't surprise me since Kady is known for staying up countless hours. I just didn't understand how she could stay up, especially on a school night.

"Yep, I had about 30 minutes of sleep, including a 5 minute power nap I took before heading out this morning," she added.

"Wow, impressive," I said stoping at my locker and putting my combination into my lock. I put my book bag in while getting everything I needed out.

"So did you hear about that blogger," Kady asked biting her nails.

I turned to look at her, "What blogger," I asked completely oblivious to her statement.

"You remember, that emoji girl, the one we were talking about at Starbucks," Kady said.

I shook my head slightly. I didn't know what was about to be said about emoji girl AKA me.

"Well, there's a rumor going around that she lives in Louisville, not only that, but she goes to this school to," She exclaimed.

Great. How did anyone figure that out. Kady and I were talking Saturday about how I reached 1,000 followers. How would anyone figure out that I live in Kentucky or go to Ridgewood High, there has to be at least 1,300 kids at this school.

I played along with what she was saying. "Really, that's cool." Bt the time I said this Kady and I were already halfway to first period, which was chorus.

"So do they know who she is-," I began but was soon cut off by a yelling voice.

"MOVE OUT OF MY WAY RAGS," a voice dictated.

Kady and I quickly spun around and looked to see who the voice was coming from. And as I guessed it was the voice of Peyton Matthews. The bossiest, meanest, most pettiest girl at Ridgewood High.

"Can't start the day without Ms. Petty screaming at the top of her lungs," Kady whispered in my ear.

Peyton stopped in front of me and Kady and smiled. "Hi besties," she lilted.

Kady and I have known Peyton since first grade. She had trouble making friends because of her anger issues so all of us became friends...sorta. Around 6th grade she started bullying and harassing people so we stopped talking. Then when we got to high school she learned that she couldn't be the queen of school, but even now everyone stays out of her way.

"Hey Peyton," Kady and I mumbled in unison. She hooked our arms together and turned us around, continuing to walk to our first period. Which we all had together. I wasn't really good at singing, but Kady and Peyton were amazing at it.

"You heard about that emoji person, everyone's talking about her," she huffed. Kady and I nodded our heads. "Supposedly she's a blogger, blogging is for losers, am I right," she laughed. I rolled my eyes while Kady groaned.

We finally made it to our Chorus class where we were met by Jace and Brayden. Peyton ran to Jace and jumped into his arms.

"Jacey-poo, I've missed you," she said kissing his cheek. Jace looked super uncomfortable, but she does
it every time she sees him.

Peyton has had a crush on Jace since Pre-K, before we even met. She is madly in love and won't let anyone get near him, which I find weird because Jace always rejects her. Brayden once told me he had a crush on Peyton, but I don't believe him. It seemed way to hard to believe.

Jace shook Peyton off of him and cleared his throat. "So, did you guys, hear about that blogger."
Wow everyone is talking about it.

"Yes," we all groaned out, except for Peyton who still had her arms wrapped around Jace. He quickly removed them and entered the classroom, quickly followed by Peyton and Brayden. Kady and I followed suit soon behind them.

"This is awesome," Kady enthused,"Emoji Girl could be walking around these halls right now. There's a friend awaiting me, but don't worry Brynlee, I won't forget about you. I've known you since Pre-K. But I know one thing. We have to find her."

I stopped walking as Kady continued toward her seat. If only they knew. I have to tell them.
