Binge write week continues with yet another chapter from me of course...

There weren't many more Trocks to fight through and they soon found themselves nearing Trockta's location but something wasn't right. It was oddly silent and (y/n) was not the only one to notice. "He's definitely here. I can smell him," Zhu commented as they spotted the entrance to a large room. The five of them entered with caution all of them easily spotting Trackta as he stood there waiting for them with his back turned.
"So you've made it this far? To bad you'll all die at the hands of the Trocks," Trockta said as he faced them and waved a staff looking weapon around. "Be careful. We've never faught him before and I can tell he isn't going to be easy to take down like the others. Since we can't kill him, stealing his soul isn't an option. You should at least let your ears appear. Doing that will give you a bit more free range with your abilities," Zhu advised.
(Y/n) didn't really pay much attention to Zhu's worda though. He was already analyzing the situation and searching for a weakness like a predator assessing their prey. "You aren't usually like this Trockta. What's gotten into you all of a sudden and why did you have your subordinates help capture Anduran?" (y/n) inquired. Trockta didn't answer his question though and simply began launching attacks at them.
Everyone was quick to dodge so no one had gotten hurt just yet. "I don't answer to you. You associate with the people who drove our kind away from our homeland. All humans will pay starting with you five and then the Caluso teibe will be next," Trockta said. (Y/n) immediately realized thatbhe meant Vegar and Star's village and he was not about to let anything like that happen.
Trockta seemed to have created a protective barrier around himself and several Trocks spawned from circles of purple that had appeared from the ground. "You've got to be kidding me," Add muttered. "We need to take these Trocks down quickly. I don't think we'll ne able to break whatever barrier he's using if they're in the way," Aisha said. Without hesitation, (y/n) lashed out on the one closest to him and everyone else did the same with Ain acting as a supoort for everyone at once as he fired his spears of light at the Trocks from afar.
When the last one was put out of commission, they all disappeared as did Trockta's barrier. "Now's your chance before he decides to do it again or do some sort of major attack," Zhu exclaimed. (Y/n) nodded in agreement and dashed towards Trockta who didn't even seem the least bit intimidated by him. "(Y/n), dodge left!" Ara shouted. He did so and just barely avoided being trapped in a cage of bones that shot up from the ground where he would have been.
"No fair! That's my job!" Zhu whined. "There's no time for that Zhu," (y/n) thought as he resumed his initial plan to attack, now being accompanied by Ain. Trockta, although clearly seeing (y/n) was also there, deliberately aimed at Ain as he shot a swirling shadow head from that stange staff looking weapon of his. Ain dodged easily and since Trockta had failed to stop (y/n), he was able to land a few good scratches in before Trockta tried knocking him back.
(Y/n) had to immediately drop to the ground to avoid being hit and he didn't hesitate to put some space between him and Trockta as Aisha and Ara took his and Ain's place to attack. "We aren't going to win like this and I doubt that all he can do is summon a Trocks, a barrier, and shoot those weird shadows at us. He's hiding something," Add said when (y/n) and Ain were close enough to hear him. He was right but without knowing what Trockta was hiding, it would be hard to avoid the outcome of whatever it was.
Ara and Aisha were making great progress though. Trockta was having a hard time blocking Ara's quick spear attacks and fending off Aisha's magecraft at the same time. He seemed to have been burned by Aisha's fireballs already. "We should join them. If we help now, the battle could be over sooner," Ain suggested before heading towards them. Add nodded in agreement and followed but (y/n) was frozen in place, Zhu keeping him still and unable to move.
"Don't go near him right now. It's likely that he'll use his special attack while being overpowered by them," Zhu said. "Shouldn't I warn them?!" (y/n) thought. "There isn't time. See," Zhu said as Add and Ain neared the ongoing battle. Trockta suddenly left himself undefended and raised his weapon before shouting in rage. A strange energy reverberated from him and everyone dropped like flies.
"Zhu, what's going on? I can't move!" (y/n) thought slightly panicking as he did. Immobilization was one of the most unconformable things (y/n) could experience and all he could do was watch as Trockta began draining energy from the four around him. "We've got to stop him. I'm going to help," Zhu said. "Don't. I've got this," (y/n) growled as he began to regain his senses and was able to get up.
Trockta backed away from the other four seeing that they were now able to move as well but he immediately put up a barrier and summoned Trocks again. (Y/n) was getting tired of the Trock cheiftan and made quick work of the summoned Trocks with Aisha's help. Add, Ara, and Ain seemed to still be recovering. Although hey could move, their energy was low and fighting wouldn't do them much good.
"(Y/n), the amulet. I get it now. You have to destroy that amulet!" Zhu said. Trockta didn't give him the chance as if knowing what Zhu had just intructed him to do. He was able to dodge Trockta's first attack but the staff-like weapon came back and hit him, knocking him aside. He was quick to recover but still a bit stunned. He saw Trockta about to hit him again but Zhu took over, forcing him to move out of the way just in time.
"The amulet. Stop holding back your power and just get the amulet. Who cares if they see you using it. You shouldn't worry about such trivial matters," Zhu said. Perhaps the fox was right but (y/n) was tired of people judging him by his connection with Zhu. Eben if they were stange themselves, he didn't want to hear any more critisizm from anyone else but he also didn't want to die at the hands of Trockta of all cheiftans.
"Fine. You win this time but keep things under control. You know we haven't been soul hunting recently," (y/n) thought as he saw Aisha being knocked back by Trockta. "Time to end this!" he said as he gave off a sudden aura. His tails and ears appeared in an instant and he didn't hesitate to take full advantage of his unhindered abilities. Over the years, they'd been polished to near perfection and he was a truly formidable force.
Trockta barely had time to register (y/n) sudden appearance in front of him before he was scratched across the eye. Trockta stumbled backward roaring in pain which (y/n) returned with a growl before darting forward in the blink of an eye easily scratching the amulet into three clean cut pieces. He landed not far behind Trockta and looked back to make sure the cheiftan didn't get up to attack again.
He ignored the stares he got from Aisha and Ara and instead watched as Trockta stood back up dropping his weapon and facing (y/n). "That other thing I sensed...it seems to be gone now," Zhu stated as Trockta stood. "You've saved me. Thank you," Trockta said. For a moment everyone was silent, all of them likely thinking the same thing. The only thing to do now was ask the question they all had. "What are you talking about?!" Aisha said.
