Nikki's POV

It's been over 2 hours since Shiro took Katy and Ash for a walk. I hope they're okay, I can't stand that guy. Right now I am sitting on the roof with Kyo beside me. We were watching the sunset, which was the one our favorite times of day. It seemed to be getting late, so I think I should go find them.

"Kyo."

"Yeah." He replied.

"It's getting late, so do you think I should go find Ash, Katy, and Shiro?" I asked.

"I think you should. Like I said, I don't trust that guy, so it's best to get them back before he does something to them." Kyo answered.

"Okay, if I don't come back in 1 hour, go and find me. Can you do that?"

"Yeah I can." Kyo said.

"Okay, bye." I said and gave Kyo a hug, then jumped off the roof.

I ran into the forest to search for them. I shouldn't have gone alone, because this place is huge. It took me a half hour, but I didn't find them. I began to gasp for air from all the running I did. I decided to go to town if they went shopping or something. I walked along the roads of Kaibara (that's the name of the school so I'm guessing town too.) searching for Ash, Katy, and Shiro, but I had no luck. Suddenly, my nosed twitched, signifying that Ash, Katy, and Shirp were close. I followed there scent to a place I didn't want my sisters or myself be come back ever again.

The Sohma Estate.

I slowly opened the gates, so I didn't draw any attention to the other residents living here. If I walked in the front door, people may think I'm a burglar, but sneaking inside the estate is also acting like a burglar, so it's a lose-lose. The scent of them grew stronger the more closer I got to them, until I spotted two girls in the corner hugging each other in a fearful matter. The two girls were Katy and Ash! Then I noticed a guy.

Akito.

Why is Ash and Katy here? And where's Shiro? Ugh! So many unanswerable questions at this moment. I saw Akito stand up and walk over to Katy and Ash. He was clenching a knife in his hand. He got closer to Katy and Ash, then my sisters held each other tightly. Now Akito was kneeling down on his knees in front of Katy and Ash and he held up the knife to Ash's throat.

"Say your last words." I heard Akito say to Ash.

I didn't want my sisters to die, so I stood up and jumped over the bush I was hiding behind and landed on the main house's hard wood floor.

"Stop!" I screamed to get Akito's attention.

Kyo's P.O.V.

It's been over an hour since Nikki's been looking for Ash, Katy, and Shiro. I remembered if she didn't come back in one hour, I had to go look for her. I want her to be safe. I don't care about Shiro, Ash is like Uo, who annoys me in life, and Katy is okay, but Nikki is everything to me. I may not know much about love, but with Nikki I can be myself and she'd love it. I jumped down the roof and began to look for her. I caught her scent and began to walk towards the direction she headed. I stopped in my tracks to where she was.

The Main House.

The place I hate the most. Why would she be here? I entered the gate and went around back so no one could see me. Besides, the cat is never welcomed here.

Nikki's P.O.V.

"Stop!" I screamed to get Akito's attention.

He turned his head and faced me. He dropped his knife and smiled.

"Hello Nikki, I'm so glad that you can join us." Akito said while smirking.

"Get away from my sisters!" I barked.

"Oh I haven't told you yet, haven't I." He asked himself.

I raised an eyebrow at his question. "What haven't you told me?"

"Sit down, we have much to discuss." He answered.

A chill went down my spine from his response. What's with him always acting mysterious? I took a seat from where I was standing. Akito got closer to me.

"Tell me why you have my sisters and why you want to kill them!" I asked furiously.

"Let's not be hasty Nikki. I'll tell you everything right after I tell you this." Akito said.

"And that's?"

"Nikki, you are a Sohma."
