Nikki's P.O.V.

Today's the day we're going to the Sohma family Hot Springs. I woke up early, well earlier than ever. It was 5:48 and I can't sleep. Katy and Ash look really cute when they sleep. I walked downstairs, but the lights were closed. There was no sign of Tohru, Yuki, and Shigure in the kitchen. I walked back upstairs and went to Kyo's room. He wasn't sleeping on his bed, but I noticed the sliding door that led to his balcony was open. I went outside to his balcony and climbed up to the roof. Kyo was lying on the roof and he was staring a the sky. I wonder what he was thinking about. I sat next to him and also looked at the sky. Kyo looked at me and smiled.

"You're up early." Kyo said.

"I was thinking the same thing about you." I replied.

"Well I'm always up early." Kyo answered with a warm smile. "Do you want to watch the sunrise with me?"

"Of course" I answered happily.

We watched the sun come up. It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw. It was now 6:00, so three more hours until the bus comes to pick us up.

"So why are you up here anyways?" I asked.

"I usually come here whenever I want to get time for myself. Mostly because of Yuki." Kyo explained. " I nodded. "How about we go downstairs now."

"Okay." I answered and followed him to the living room.

About fifteen minutes later, Tohru came downstairs. She walked to the kitchen, not even noticing us. Then she came back in the living room like she forgot something.

"Good morning Nikki and Kyo. I'm sorry, I didn't see you two." Tohru greeted and apologized.

"It's okay." I said accepting her apology.

I could smell the delicious scent Tohru's cooking from the kitchen. How does she make her food so flavorful, how? I wish I could cook like her, but I'm not as good as her. After that thought, Katy and Ash came downstairs, then walking down the hall next to each other was Yuki and Shigure. Yuki seemed really tired and it looked like he was about to pass out from lack of sleep. Shigure on the other hand was wide awake, and was randomly humming a weird tune.

"Good morning everyone." Shigure beamed. "Ahh, what has my lovely princess make today for breakfast."

"Princess?" Kyo questioned in a rude matter.

"Well isn't she a princess." Shigure answered Kyo with pride.

"Shut up you pervert." Kyo said.

Shigure was astonished. "How dare you call me a pervert." Shigure said like a five would do.

We all sat down at the table and began to eat. Surprisingly, Tohru's food was much better than yesterdays. She should actually have a cooking show, and she could explain her secret behind her cooking.

The two hours were not really fun. After breakfast everyone still had to finish packing. I was being rushed by my sisters, but clearly I finished twenty minutes ago. Second, Kyo and Yuki began to fight, because Yuki said to him to quit sitting around and to finish getting packed. It was quite amusing to see them fight, but once Kyo got knocked out by Yuki, his pain soon appeared in my heart. Finally, Shigure's editor came and she started crying because Shigure wouldn't give her any papers. Yup, the whole house was chaos, except for Tohru, who was calmly getting ready.

Then we eventually boarded the bus. I sat next to Kyo and Katy, and on the other side Ash, Yuki and Tohru sat next to each other. The bus was huge. It was like a tour bus that bands would take to get around from town to town. Kyo and I were silent the whole ride. Basically everyone didn't talk, unless Yuki or Tohru would say they remembered something from their last trip to the Hot Springs.

Finally we arrived at the Sohma family Hot Springs. A lady was at the doorway kneeling on the ground.

"Hello. I'm the Sohma Hot Springs hostess. I'm glad I could finally meet you three." She said kindly and she let out a soft laugh.

"Us, really?" I questioned.

"Yes. After your visit to the Sohma estate, Akito told everyone about you and your sisters." She explained. "Ah Tohru, I'm glad to see you again same with you, Yuki and Kyo."

"Umm, may we go to are rooms now." Ash asked.

"I'M SORRY FOR HAVING YOU OUT HERE FOR SO LONG IN THIS COLD WEATHER. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR MY TERRIBLE MISTAKE. I'LL SHOW YOU TO YOU ROOMS RIGHT AWAY!" The hostess apologized while yelling, which was unexpected.

There were three large rooms that Katy and Ash reserved for us. This means two people will be in each room.

"Okay, Katy and I will be together, Nikki and Tohru will share a room, and Yuki and Kyo will also share a room together. Any questions, no, okay." Ash said in a sweet voice.

"Hey! Why do I have to stay with that damn rat!" Kyo hollered angrily.

"Because, I'm not trusting you with Nikki or anyone else. Besides, its only for 3 nights." Ash argued back.

"I can't even survive one minute with him. How can I survive 3 nights? How about I get the room for myself."

"Agh, fine, Tohru and Yuki will be sharing a room, and Katy, Nikki, and I will share a room together." Ash said.

Everyone went to their rooms and began to settle in. Katy and Ash decided to ask everybody if they wanted to go in the Hots Springs and relax. But how can they want everyone to be relaxed, if they keep rushing us to get ready. I mean, who does that. (A/N: I do Nikki.) Ash and Katy walked out of our room to tell everyone to get ready for the Hot Springs. Then I heard Kyo say this.

"Dammit, we just got here. Don't rush us. If you two want to go than go alone, I'm not coming." Kyo shouted at my sisters.

They began to have an argument, until my sisters won, and Kyo had no choice but to go. But the girls and the boys had to be separated and go into different springs. Well, their was only a wall blocking them, so we sorta were together.

"Ah, the water is so warm and relaxing." Katy said enjoying her first step in.

"Just get in the water, you stupid cat." I heard Yuki saying that to Kyo.

"Shut up, I hate water." Kyo yelled back.

"You went in here last time, I think you can handle it again." Yuki said. "Besides, Nikki is on the other side and she is probably in the water. You're going to let a girl be better than you. After all she is also a cat."

"Fine, I'll go in the freaking water." Kyo yelled, finally ending their conversation.

I also stepped in and the water was really relaxing. I could actually sleep in this and not be bugged at all my the water. I still could hear the boys yelling. I guess if you put them in a room or anywhere together, they would start to argue and possibly murder each other. They actually act like a cat and mouse, like that stupid TV show called Tom and Jerry. (A/N: No offense to people who like that show. I just don't like how the cat is always beaten by a mouse. I'm a cat
and I feel sad about that😰) Well, they are a cat and a rat, and its based off of the zodiac legend.

A half hour has passed, so Tohru decided we should get out and play ping pong. Dinner wouldn't be ready until another hour, so I thought that would waste at little time. I shouted over the wall to get the guy's attention, who were still arguing, and told them to come inside. We grabbed are robes and put them on. Eventually, we all arrived at the same time at the ping pong area. It was a small decent room and in the middle was a ping pong table with 2 paddles and a ball. Kyo grabbed a paddle and held it up.

"Alright, who wants to challenge the champion of ping pong!" Kyo enthusiastically said with a smirk.

"Who said you were the champion at this. You can't even bounce the ball on the table, and that's basically the whole game." Yuki said and glared at Kyo.

"Shut up ya damn rat. I can play. I don't need you pathetic advice." Kyo hollowed back. Yuki rolled his eyes.

I stepped forward. "I would like to challenge you." I said with confidence.

"Okay Nikki, but I warn you, I won't go easy on you."

I nodded and picked up the other paddle. Kyo picked up the ball and began to start the game. He hit the ball and it bounced across the table. Once it came one inch away from my paddle, the ball and my paddle made contact with each other. Surprisingly, I hit the ball and it bounced back to Kyo. I was never good at this, but I guess I am now. We continued doing this for a while, and I don't think everyone could keep there eyes on the ball because it was moving back and forward at an incredible speed. I made a final hit that hit harder than the other times, and it dashed right past Kyo and it landed on the ground. He looked down at the ground, where the ball laid, and looked up at me with anger.

"You were beaten by a girl." Yuki mocked and chuckled a bit.

"Shut up! I don't need you saying rude comments like that right now!" Kyo shouted.

The hostess came in and said dinner was ready. We walked to the dinning hall and sat down. The whole table was covered up with plates of food, I couldn't even decide what to eat first. But I saw one thing that stuck out the most from all the food, a sweet sizzling salmon. I grabbed a piece with my chopsticks and ate it. It was the best salmon I ever eaten in my life. Kyo looked at me and smiled.

"You like the salmon." He said calmly.

"Love it." I answered and continued picking up more salmon.

After we finished we went to our rooms to sleep. I felt a little bad that Kyo has to sleep alone, even though he does that every night back at Shigure's house. So once my sisters we sound asleep, I snuck out of the room and walked down the hall to Kyo's room. When I slid open his door, he was also asleep. I tapped his shoulder, but he didn't open his eyes. Then I began to constantly shake him, until he thought there was an earthquake happening. He sprung up, then calmed down when he saw me.

"Nikki, why'd you do that. I thought an earthquake or something was happening." He said.

"Sorry, but I just don't want you to be alone and I can hardly stay on the bed in Ash and Katy's room. Can I sleep with you, if you don't mind." I replied.

"Fine." He said and laid down on the bed. I climbed in there and also fell asleep.

The next couple of days we hiked around the Sohma property. I can't believe how much land they own. Kyo challenged me for a rematch in ping pong. He said last time he wasn't prepared for that finally shot and he couldn't focus, but I say it happened because I was better than him in it. Again I beat him and he was furious, but I calmed him down by rubbing his back and saying he's a winner inside.

Finally the bus came and picked us up. At first, I'm not sure if Ash liked the idea of me sleeping with Kyo, but in the end she accepted it.

We finally arrived back at Shigure's house and I was glad to be back. I saw a girl crying at the doorway and Shigure trying to calm her down.

"Oh hello everyone, back from the Hot Springs already? Well time does fly when you're having fun." Shigure cheerfully said.

"Shi-gu-re! Why why. Can't you act like a normal person and give me you're papers on time." The girl cried.

"Oh Mitsuru, a true novelist must have time to write in peace, so scurry on home and I'll be down by next week." Shigure said.

"But Shigure, it's due tomorrow. You had all week and you weren't accompanied by these kids." Mitsuru complained. Did she just call us kids.

"Ah, thanks Shigure for talking to us." Ash said sarcastically.

Ash, Katy and I went to our room. Once we opened the door, we saw a huge bed, but our mattresses nowhere to be seen. Did Shigure actually buy this? Well, whoever did, I thank them a lot. I jumped on the bed and took a quick nap.

"Hey Nikki, I wanted to be the first one on the bed." Ash yelled.

"To late sucker." I answered and fell asleep.

Yassssssssss, my long wrest chapter ever. Man I love writing this book. For people reading "Crossing Worlds" I still writing it but I will be done some and I will update it. Sorry for the long wait, I promise I would update more sooner. It's just, I had so many ideas to put in this chapter, I had to write a long one. Anyways, thanks for reading. Bye~
