Nikki's P.O.V.

The next morning, I woke up still half asleep. I hate the mornings. I went downstairs and began to eat breakfast. We were silent at the table, until Katy spoke.

"Mom, today we are going to hang out with some friends. We might be home late."

"Oh that's okay. I'm glad that you girls have friends. I don't care how long your gone, as long as you get home." She answered cheerfully.

We began to walk to school after breakfast. We saw Tohru, Yuki, Kyo walking to school, so we walked with. I stood next to Kyo, but he still won't talk to me. We were both silent, while everyone was talking to each other. Then I finally spoke.

"What the hell is on your mind." I said.

"Why are you asking." He replied.

"I don't know. Your not talking to me." I exclaimed.

"Maybe I have nothing to say." He yelled back.

"Well maybe say something. You shouldn't leave a girl to start talking to you." I shouted in his face.

Everyone stopped to watch, then they formed sweat drops on their heads. We were yelling for a long time, and everyone else was getting sick of us yelling.

"Can you two be quiet, your giving me a headache." Yuki said with malice in his voice.

"Shut the hell up!" Kyo and I shouted in unison.

Everyone was silent after that, well everyone but Kyo and I. When we got to school we saw four people. One of them was Momiji and the guy with black and white hair, but the other two girls I didn't know.

"Uo, Hana, Momiji, Haru!" Tohru shouted excitedly. We walked up to them.

"Hey Ash what's up." The one with blonde hair said.

"Hello Arisa." Ash replied.

"Oh, this is Nikki and Katy Kanaji. They're Ash's younger sisters. "Nikki, Katy, this is Arisa Uotani, Saki Hanajima, Hatsuharu Sohma, and you already met Momiji Sohma." Tohru said.

"Nice to meet you all." Katy said happily and waved.

"Hey." I replied.

"So orange top. Why the hell were you yelling at Nikki." Arisa claimed then smirked.

"None of your damn business, you yankee!" Kyo rudely exclaimed.

"A yankee?" I questioned.

"That's what I call her, and Saki over there is a psychic goth. Now stop asking us questions, you idiot." Kyo said.

"Don't call me an idiot and that was only one question, Mr. Know-it-all." I replied back, which got his temper up.

"Stop calling me names."

"You stop calling me names."

We argued again for a while, until we had to get to class. I don't really like him, he's rude and he's got a temper.

"Wow Nikki, I never saw you yell before, or be mean." Katy said with a frightened tone in her voice.

"Sorry to scare everyone, I feel good letting my anger out like that. I had that locked inside because I'm a nice person and I don't get mad much." I apologized and put my hand behind my head.

After school, I called my mom again and told that we're going to our friends, just incase she forgot. Hatsuharu and Momiji left to go back home, so Me, Ash, Katy, Kyo, Yuki, and Tohru walked to Shigure's house. When we arrived Shigure walked up to us.

"Hello everyone. In a little while we are going to leave to go to the Main house." Shigure stated. Kyo and Yuki's eyes widen.

"Why are you taking them there." Yuki said.

"Well, I should tell everyone........about them." Shigure shrieked. Yuki glared at Shigure which made him leave the room. Then he came back in.

"You kids have fun. Oh and Nikki and Kyo, why don't you two mingle for a while." Then Shigure left the room. Everyone looked at each other, then Yuki, Tohru, Ash, and Katy went outside. I followed Kyo upstairs.

"So, what do you want to talk about." I said trying to start a conversation.

"How the hell can you hug us, but not your sisters?" Kyo asked.

"First of all, I was adopted because my original parents didn't like me. They thought I was a disgrace to the family and I was a foolish animal." After I said that I sat on the ground and started to cry. "T-they brought me t-to a forest and they left me there, so I w-was a-alone. I turned into a cat from all the stress and t-then my a-adopted mom t-told me s-she h-had two daughters who were a-also like m-me." I cried even more. Kyo sat down next to me and patted my back. Was he being nice to me now? Then he did something a guy like him would never do, he put his arm around my back and he pulled me into him. I was loved by him now. Yup, this year will be interesting.

"I never knew you had a miserable life like that. How old were you when it happened. Twelve?"

"I was one." His jaw dropped.

"I'm sorry for what happened to you, and what happened this morning. I should of been more nicer."

"It's not your fault, you might of had a better life than I had." I said sadly.

"I don't like talking about my life."

"Oh."

Out of a sudden, Ash comes through the door. She scared the crap out of us.

"So you two made up. I glad there's no more fighting between you two." She said and smirked.

"You sly fox. Sneaking up at us like that isn't polite." I stated. She rolled her eyes and sat down.

"On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you like Kyo. Ash asked me devilishly.

"WHAT! Why would you think of something that stupid." I angrily replied.

"Shut your damn mouth. I wouldn't think of that either." Kyo shouted.

"Come on, you two are exactly alike." She said and continued her smirking.

"HOW!" We both yelled in unison.

"Well-." Ash got cut off my Shigure calling us to leave and go to the Main house. We downstairs and Katy was ready to leave and she was excited.

"Kyo, Yuki, Tohru you three stay here." Shigure exclaimed.

"No. I'm going." Kyo said which surprised Shigure.

"I'll stay here with Ms. Honda."

"Oh, I see you want to be with Nikki don't you." Shigure said cheerfully. "*I heard every word you two were saying upstairs*."

"Shut up!" Kyo yelled.

Kyo continued yelling at Shigure, then we waved goodbye to Tohru and Yuki and left. Kyo stood next me. I think he likes me because every time I look at him he blushes and I do the same. I feel like something is lost in his life, probably love. I'm slowly analyzing his life, but not in a bad why. He said earlier he doesn't like to talk about his life, but what does that mean. Did he have a terrible childhood, or something happened to him. That remains a mystery to me, until I figure out what it was.

We finally reached the Main house. It was gigantic, and I couldn't believe their whole family lives here. I feel more than their family lives here. Shigure opened the gates and we walked through. Katy, Ash, and I looked around on how big it was on the inside. Kyo didn't seem amused at all. I could tell he hates this place. Shigure walked up to the door and knocked. A tall guy with black hair, with one part of his hair is covering his left eye.

"Hello Hatori, these are the girls I told you about." Shigure beamed happily.

The guy named Hatori sighed and allowed us to go in. He led us to a room, but before he opened it he stopped to say something.

"Before I let you three go in, Akito isn't feeling well, so I trust you three to be on your best behavior. Kyo you stay here, outside, with Shigure and I."

"Why are you telling us to behave, we're not 5 year olds." Ash argued.

"Please, listen to Hatori, Ash. Don't act rude and stupid." I said while face palming.

"I wasn't being rude or stupid. I was just saying that because it's true." Ash stated and crosses her arms.

"Umm, let's not get into fights, okay?" Katy said nervously, but in a cheerful way.

Hatori opened the door. Inside was pretty decent. Something tells me people in this family hate this Akito guy, but I don't see anything out of ordinary. WAIT! Who is that guy lying down and staring outside from the porch. Is it Akito? Hatori closed the door and we all became nervous. The guy turned his head and looked into our eyes. I stood there, sweating like crazy.

"Hello." The guy said and smiled.
