K I've been looking for a while and omg

Being trying to do southern accents are hilarious

And it kinda pisses me off too but

I just read through a buttload of things "we say often" and the only one I've ever even hear was "hold your horses".

Do northerners not say that? XD

Oops.

Um okay so phrases we say...

1. Piddle- I've heard that before, "piddling around". It's mostly adults that say that though. It means to mess around. Almost like, "twiddle" but it's "piddle".

2. Tan my hide- ... Excuse me? XD

3. Cattywampus- I know this one! It's like, when something does something out of the usual, like, if someones eye started twitching really bad, their eye goes all cattywampus. Or when theres a really riled up animal running around outa nowhere, they went all cattywampus. XD

4. That dog won't hunt- Basically means that someone can't do anything right. Like, "Oh don't even let them try, they're gonna screw that up. That dog won't hunt."

5. Knee-high to a grass hopper- What??? Does that mean they're lesser than someone else? Like, they're dirt or something?
