Anya

It's been a few weeks since Scourge and Flames came. 

"I need to go back Steward is probably worried." She said. 

"I will miss you. Thanks so much for fixing my sword." I said. 

"No problem." She said and mounted Scourge. Scourge put his head under my hand. "I love you too buddy." I said and they took off.

That night I was with Erik. I love him with my whole heart. The next morning I felt awful and I threw up a lot. 

"I am either sick or Athena gave me the ability to have a brain child." I said. 

I did child. She said. Great. I thought. 

"Athena just confirmed. Yes the child is yours." I said before he could ask. 

"What do you mean the ability to have a brain child?" Erik asked as he held my hand. 

"This is the" vomit come up for air "easiest way to explain it. All I have to do is think about who I love for a while. Then I can chose if I want to give birth or have the child spring from my head." I vomited after I said this.

To make matters worse my dad and Hades came. 

"You are pregnant with this spawn of Hades's child." My dad yelled. 

"Dad Athena's blessing." I furrowed my brow "And so what I love him." I said. 

"She has a point brother." Hades said. 

"Thank you." I said. 

"Fine but you have to tell Chiron." Poseidon said. 

"Oh boy." I muttered. I IMed Chiron the next day. 

"I'm pregnant." I blurted out. 

"Who and how?" he asked. 

"Erik Destler, son of Hades and Athena gave me the ability of a brain child." I said. He breathed a sigh of relief. 

"Oh gods Anya you scared me for a second. I thought you were...... and well I've never had a pupil live to well you know...." He said. 

"Ew. Chiron. That's disgusting." I said. 

"I'm sorry Anya. I'm glad to see that you are happy. Everyone misses you here. Xavier was banished a month ago." He said. 

"I know. He paid me a visit." I felt my stomach lurched. "Uh oh. I'll IM you later." I ran to the toilet. I threw up a lot. Erik stroked my back. I slept in his arms that night.

Month three of pregnancy.

"Erik I'm afraid that if I show you my real face you'll never want to be with me again." I said. 

"Anya that will never happen." Erik said. I was not easily convinced. 

"If you remove the Mist I'll take off my mask." he said. My head snapped up. 

"alright Erik." I said. I clawed my heart three times with three fingers then pushed against the air. He looked horrified. 

"How could something distort someone like you so horribly?" he said. My scarred lips pulled themselves into a smile. He took off his mask, holding his breath. Sure it wasn't pretty but I'm not shallow. I hugged him. He was shocked. 

"There is a huge difference between me and the rest of the world. I am not shallow at all. I see you not what others see." i said. He smiled.

Erik-a few days later

"Alyssa, can you help me? I want to propose to Anya." I said. Alyssa squealed. 

"This is so fantastic. Hang on. Tori needs to hear this. She's great at making rings and that sort of thing." she held up a gold coin and a prism. She positioned it so that a rainbow appeared. 

"Oh Iris goddess of the rainbow accept my offering, show me Tori Jackson at the forges." Alyssa said, practically bouncing. 

"Hey Lyssa. Hey Erik. What do you need?" she said. 

"Why do you think I was going to ask for something? well I am but don't just assume that." Alyssa said, talking almost too fast for my preference. 

"Well?" Victoria said.

"I'm going to propose to Anya." I said, stepping in. 

"Say no more. Thank the gods I've been preparing in case her and Xavier went down that road. Well now I'm so glad That I didn't throw the design away." she looked through some papers. 

"Did she ask you to make a ring?" Alyssa asked. 

"Oh Hades no. I was hoping....Here it is!" Victoria held up a small rolled up paper. She held up the design. The band looked like waves and the diamond was held up by a spider web. 

"That's perfect. When I get married you are so designing the ring." Alyssa said. 

"It's gonna either be Celestial Bronze or Imperial Gold. I can't decide. What do you guys think?" Victoria said. 

"Celestial Bronze. Xavier wanted Imperial gold and I really want to rub it in his face that he can't have Anya." Alyssa said. I looked at her. 

"Xavier is a jerk. He doesn't deserve Anya but he wants her. He told me so after he tried to kill me last night." She said. 

"I never liked him. The pompous Ares spawn." Victoria said. 

"Agreed." I said. 

"I'll deliver it when I'm done." Victoria said. 

"Thanks Tori. I owe you." Alyssa said. 

"Bye. Where is my....? Drake!!!!!" Victoria yelled. The connection broke. Alyssa was laughing. 

"What is so funny?" I asked. 

"Drake is madly in love with her and she is with Steward and Each of them are trying to blame thefts on the other." She said still laughing.

A month later

Anya

I look down at the slight bump on my stomach. 

"Erik don't worry it will ready soon. I am finishing the hardest part. Spider webs aren't easy. Now let me get to work." I thought I heard Tori yell. 

"I'm sorry. I guess I'm nervous." Erik said. 

"I get it. Xavier and everything else. Hopefully I'll bring it next week. Bye." Tori said. 

"Thank you Victoria." Erik said. Maybe she's making him something. Don't overreact. The baby. I needed to keep calm.

A week later

Erik

Victoria handed me the ring. "Good luck. I think she heard us and thinks the worst." 

"Thank you Victoria." I said. 

"Call me Tori. Everyone does." She said. 

"Alright Tori." I said. She mounted the pegasus and they took off. This is it no turning back. Anya was sitting on her bed. 

"Anya." I said. She turned and smiled. This is the point of no return. I can do this.
