August 11th, 2029

It was now the weekend and Ethan left the house to go over to the park with his friends. He sits down on a brick wall alongside Kayla and Kevin along with Alex Harris, another film student.

"You think i could find out more info on Bailey Coopers attack?" Kevin asked

Ethan looked up from his phone and just looked at Kevin. "What?"

"I mean, you know i have a blog where i breakdown the Ghostface killings right? I wanna know more about Baileys attack." Kevin explained

Kayla chimes in, pushing back her hair. "Well she was stabbed in the back several times within her own home when her parents were away."

"I know that but i wanna know stuff like 'did she survive' or what was she doing before the attack" Kevin complained

"You got a hard one for Bailey don't you?" Kayla asked smugly

Kevin completely gawks at Kayla and looks at Ethan for support.

"I'll be right back, i gotta go to the bathroom." Kevin said, getting up.

Kevin went into one of the bathrooms in the area and did his business. It was at that moment he got a mysterious text message from an unknown number

Hello

Who's this?

Just someone who has a little business with you.

Business? What are you talking about?

Do you remember Bailey Cooper?

Bailey?

I'm the one who fucking attacked her.

How does that make you feel?

Fuck you asshole!

I wanna play a game.

Im afraid not, you realize i can report this to the police right?

I think i might have enough time to gut someones insides out.

Im not gonna let you hurt any of my friends.

Well that's too bad, your friends are going to die. One by one, each of them will fall as blood falls from their corpses.

It had been another 4 minutes and Ghostface didn't make another message and Ethan didn't want to give him the satisfaction of replying, he runs out of the bathroom and ran back to his friends. Kevin had left and Kayla and Alex were still there

"Where's Kevin?" Ethan asked frantically.

"He went ahead and went home for the day, is something wrong?" Kayla asked, rather concerned

"It's the killer! He's here somewhere!" Ethan said, getting more panicked

"The killer?" Kayla asked, her voice raising in surprise

"Where is he? I don't see him anywhere" Alex said.

"He texted me while i was in the bathroom, whoever it was is the one who killed Bailey." Ethan said.

Kayla puts an arm around her boyfriend and walks him to her car "I think you should go home and get some rest"

Kayla drives off and takes Ethan home, who still worried for his and his friends safety now that there was a serial killer on the loose

---Meanwhile---

Jesse Peterson was a junior in Woodsboro High and he was a rather exceptional student, he got all A's and B's in his classes and never got in trouble that often. His parents were out grocery shopping and he was home alone and then his phone started to ring.

"Hello?" Jesse answered.

"Hello." The voice said, it was Ghostface but Jesse didn't know yet

"Who's this?" Jesse asked, sitting up in bed

"Just someone who wants to talk" The killer said softly.

"Alright well what do you wanna talk about?" Jesse asked

"Have you ever seen the movie Stab?" The killer asked.

"I've only seen 1 2 3 and 4. The others after that were dogshit. I mean Time travel?! The fuck is this, Star Wars? Avengers: Endgame?" Jesse said angrily. "Anyway its been a while since i seen those movies, my friends forced me to see them and i don't remember much from them"

"Well thats too bad." The killer said.

"Yeah, im not really that big on scary movies. I usually only watch comedy and romance movies." Jessie said, getting up and going downstairs.

"I see.." The Killer said softly

"Anyway who are you calling for, nobody's here" Jesse said, getting something to drink out of the fridge

"What if i said you?" The killer asked, his voice getting more intense

Jesse took a sip of his drink. "What if said goodbye?". Jesse hung up and went back upstairs and he saw a weird shadow cast upon the wall infront of him, he looked behind him and Ghostface was right there!

"What the fuck?!" Jesse screamed as he tried to run but his ankle was slashed and he tripped onto the table.

"I gotta get outta here or else I'll die..!" Jesse thought to himself and ran into the backyard and locked the sliding glass door

Ghostface broke through the glass door and ran after him. The black robed killer tackled him and stabs him in the back and rolled him over to where Jesse faced his death in the eyes

"You're a handsome fella Jesse, but your big IQ couldn't save you from this problem! Now you lose." Ghostface said as he slit Jesse's throat and began to tear his stomach apart!

A little while later, Jesse's mom had finally return home with groceries and noticed a note on the counter which said the following.

"Check your backyard..."

Worried, Jessies mom runs into the backyard and saw the most horrifying sight a mother could see: her son, throat slashed and gutted was hanging from a nearby tree! The words "What's your favorite scary movie?" Was written in blood on the wall..

---Later that evening---

Ethan went downstairs and found his mother speaking to the father of his girlfriend, Dewey Riley.

"Mom? Sheriff Riley?" Ethan said, curious as to why Dewey was here

"Please, you can call me Dewey for today" The sheriff said. "I just have a few questions i want to ask you."

Ethan goes over and sits down at the table with his mother and Dewey. "What's up?"

"Kayla has told me that you received messages from the killer earlier today, is that true?" Dewey asked.

"It is. I was in the bathroom doing my business and i received these weird messages from some creep. He talked like that killer from the Stab movies" Ethan explained

"Im afraid that is the case Ethan." Dewey said. "I received word that there was another attack just a little while ago at the Peterson residence, 'What's your favorite scary movie' was written all over the walls."

"Jesse Peterson? I had english with that guy!" Ethan exclaimed, his fear rising.

"His mother found him dead hanging from a tree completely gutted out and his throat slashed. My officers are doing all they can to find out who's behind this." Dewey said, patting Ethans shoulder

Ethan rose to his feet and stared his mother and Dewey in the eyes "Dewey, with all due respect.. i would like to help."

Sidney rose to her feet as well and touched her son on the shoulder "Ethan what do you mean?!"

"I'm not just going to sit around and do nothing, I'm not gonna sit and watch my friends die around me" Ethan said

"It's dangerous Ethan! You don't know what Ghostface could do to you!" Sidney argued

"Mom, when you were my age and this happened to you. You didn't sit around and do nothing, you took action and killed Billy Loomis and Stu Macher both with your own hands." Ethan argued back, his voice showing that he was serious.

Dewey finally spoke up. "He's right you know. The more people we have to find this guy, the quicker we can put him behind bars."

Sidney looked at Dewey and back towards her son. "Are you really sure about this? Are you really willing to take this risk?"

"I am. I don't want to see my friends die, not to some freak in a Ghostface mask" Ethan said in complete confidence

Dewey began to leave for the night "I'll be off, I'll update you guys when i find out more"

---The Next Day, August 12th---

Ethan and Kayla sat together in Ethans bedroom and they discussed the current events that would transpire soon

"So you volunteered to help find this killer huh? Why?" Kayla asked

Ethan smiled and turned red a bit. "i just don't want to see my friends get hurt or get killed"

He placed his hand along her cheek and Kayla looked at him in bewilderment. "Especially you.. i don't want to see you get hurt either"

Kayla simply smiled and kisses him on the nose. "You don't have to worry about me silly, i can take care of myself. You know i can do martial arts right?"

"Yeah but-" Ethan started.

"I'll be fine ok? But i do appreciate you looking out for me, that's really sweet of you" Kayla said happily.

Ethan wrapped both his arms around Kayla and kept her there, he didn't want her to die.. therefore he wouldn't let her go.
