It's been a week since they left the Land of Waves, and Team Darui has just entered Kumo. Team Darui goes directly to the Raikage's office. The Raikage stays quiet for a second, and asks, "So how did the mission go?"

Darui answers, "Well Boss, it wasn't dull that's for sure. The team guarding Tazuna was a Genin Squad from Konoha, with one Kakashi Hatake as their Jounin. The star Genin of the squad is Sasuke Uchiha..."

Naruto interrupts, and says, "Sasuke is the Otōto (Little Brother) of Itachi Uchiha, you know the one that killed the Uchiha in one night."

Darui then continues, "Another member of the squad used used Ink Jutsu..."

Naruto again interrupts, "His name is Sai. He is a ROOT ANBU member, and only one the team so he can test Sasuke, so that Sasuke can join ROOT."

Darui then says, "That's enough, Naruto! Anyway Gatō hired Zabuza Momochi, a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsman of the Mist to kill the bridge builder, he must have failed, since he "hired" us to do it. When we got to Nami no Kuni (Land of Waves), Naruto summoned a toad to scout the island. Good thing too, as we found out a couple days before we got your order to kill Gatō. So we teamed up with Kakashi's team, which is named Team 7, and protected Tazuna. While they trained, Naruto and Kakashi's Genin did simple spars. Naruto wanted to see how he stacked up. When we got your order we killed him that night, and looted half of his vault, which hilariously filled to the brim with Ryo."

Naruto then hands the Raikage the scroll filled with the Ryo from Gatō. Darui then says, "A couple days later, My team, and Team 7 had a fight with Zabuza on the bridge that Tazuna was building. We stopped fighting, when what is apparently Gatō's replacement Shizuma Hoshigaki, showed up, with four hundred mercenaries, and tried to attack all three of us. So Naruto then used the Hiraishin, and killed Shizuma, and all of the mercenaries. A couple days later, we left Nami. Tazuna named the bridge after Naruto, here."

The Raikage gives Naruto a looks, and Naruto says, "Yup, the people of Nami no Kuni named the bridge "The Great Naruto Uzumaki Bridge"! They were going to name it "The Great Bridge of Kumo's Yellow Flash, Naruto Uzumaki", but thought it was too long of a name."

The Raikage says, "Naruto, you are dismissed! Darui stay, we have a meeting to attend to!"

So Naruto leaves the Raikage's office to go to the apartment, and chillax. While Darui, and the Raikage stay, and wait for the other Jounin to come so they can start the meeting.

Darui says, "Dull, but you like the second name, don't you?"

The Raikage replies, "I do. It raises the name of Kumo in a better light, then being known as the Bloodline Stealer!"

Darui says, "As we left, the villagers called Naruto, Nami no kyūseishu (Saviour of the Wave)."

The Raikage nods, and asks, "So, what happened to Zabuza?"

Darui answers, "Kakashi, and his students offered him, and his apprentice a chance to be shinobi of Konoha, but they declined.

And then, one by one, Killer B, Samui, C, Dodai, Yugito Nii, and all of the other Jounin appear in the office. The Raikage says, "Let's just get this started. The Chunin Selection Exams are coming up in a month, and this time it's in Konoha. So step up, state your name, and student. Then says whether, or not you allow them to participate in these exams."

Darui steps up first, and says, "I, Darui, approve Naruto Uzumaki to participate in the Chunin Selection Exams."

Killer B is the next to step up. He says, "Yo! I'm Killer B, Lord of the Jinchuuriki! If you don't know that, than you are a... Fool! I approve for my kiddos to rock these exams."

Dodai steps up after Killer B, and he says, "I, Dodai, approve my students Afuri, Agarui, and Aharu to participate in the Chunin Selection Exams."

After Dodai, Samui step up, and says, "I, Samui, approve Pakura Uzumaki to participate in the Chunin Selection Exams!"

And then after Samui, pretty much all of the other Jounin deny their students to participate in the Chunin Exams. Maybe, eh... More like exactly two other Jounin allowed their Genin to participate in the exams.

The Raikage then says, "All is the Genin that are approved may go to Konoha, and participate, but Naruto, and Pakura are to be on a team together, and are to be Team Darui, since you'll be leading Killer B's students. That is all, you all are dismissed! Oh... Mabui will hand out the permission slips on the way out."

Right now, Naruto is out, and about with Pakura. You see, before Naruto left Kumo, he asked Pakura out on a date, and she obviously said yes. So today is the day of the date.

Naruto has the perfect plan. First they will walk through the village, maybe grab a snack, or even play a game, seeing as a small festival was going on today. After that they'll have a nice candle-lit dinner. Well, at least Naruto thought it was perfect, but it just doesn't sound that way. He at least knows that Pakura will love the date, and he guesses that is all that matters to him. Pakura being happy, and safe.

The pair put on a simple, but elegant kimonos. Naruto's kimono is orange, which has blue trimmings. While Pakura's kimono matched with her hair. Green on top, which fades into orange at the bottom. Naruto wears a porcelain ANBU-style mask, which is decorated to look like a fox. Pakura wears a traditional Sunagakure head piece, which kinda looks like a turban. She also has a sheet covering the bottom half of her face, so that only her eyes are visible. The headcoverings do have the symbol of Kumo on the forehead, so no one mistakes them for a shinobi from another village.

Now, for this festival, masks, and anything that covered your head is a tradition. The point of the masks, is so one can make friends with another, without the prejudice associated with one person, or another. I mean the festival is called the Festival of Friends (Tomodachi no Matsuri) for a reason.

And, so the couple went out on their first date, looking at all of the festivities. Watching the children, and adults trying to win stuffed animals. Pakura then sees a dart throwing game. The grand prize is a giant stuffed nine-tailed fox, and she wanted it, as it reminds her of Naruto. she asks, "Naruto-kun, could you win the grand prize for me?"

Naruto looks at the grand prize, and chuckles. While Kurama yells, "THAT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE ME! I SHOULD SHRED WHOEVER MADE IT INTO A MILLION LITTLE PIECES!"

Naruto inwardly smiles, and says, "Come on Kura-chan, I think it looks like a way more cuter version than you. Kinda like a baby version of you."

Kurama replies, "DO! NOT! EVER CALL ME THAT, AGAIN!"

Naruto then walks to the game, and asks, "How many bullseyes for the grand prize?"

The person who runs the game answers, "Fifteen bullseyes for the giant stuffed fox, sir. Do you wanna play? It's twenty ryo for twenty darts?"

Naruto says, "I'll play!"

He then gives the man the ryo, while the man give Naruto the darts.As soon as Naruto touches the darts, he knew that they are not balanced. So he throws the darts in a way that counteracts the balance issues. The blonde then throws all twenty darts one at a time, and hits all twenty bullseyes.

The man is completely shocked, but gets the stuffed fos down, and says, "Congratulations good sir, here is your prize!"

Naruto grabs the prize, and hands it to Pakura, who squeals in happiness. The blonde then subtly makes a Shadow Clone, and orders it to go home, and make then candle-lit dinner happen. They walked around a little more, and even watch a sumo match.

Naruto then says, "We should go home. I have dinner ready."

Pakura agrees, and goes to get her stuffed fox, and finds that it is missing. She then tells Naruto who replies, "Don't worry, I have a Hiraishin Formula on it."

Naruto then disappears in a Yellow Flash, and reappears in another Yellow Flash. He sees that it is being held by the little kid that was sitting next to them, who was also watching the sumo match. The blonde says, "You know that stuffed fox is my girlfriends, and that you shouldn't have stolen it, right?"

The kid hands it back over to Naruto. He says, "Sorry mister, but it was awesome, and really, really soft, and fluffy."

Naruto ruffles the kids hair, and replies, "That is okay, but next time don't take things that aren't yours, okay kid?"

The kid says, "Okay Mister!"

He then leaves Naruto, who disappears in a Yellow Flash. Pakura sees a Yellow Flash, and is happy that Naruto returned with the giant stuffed fox. She then jumps, and hugs Naruto to the ground. Which Naruto returns. Naruto moves both of their head coverings off of their mouths. The blonde then gently presses his lips against Pakura's. Pakura is a little shocked, but returns the kiss. The two then disappears in a Yellow Flash.

The couple then reappears in their apartment. It is dark, It has no candles lighting the place up, and definitely does not have the aroma of ramen wafting throughout. Being subtle, Naruto places two fingers on the floor, and senses around ten people hidden in the shadows of the apartment. Naruto sighed, and then whispers, "There are ten people other than us here. Wanna give them a surprise?"

Pakura, who also whispers, answers, "Sure, why not."

Naruto spins Pakura around, with a nice spank on the butt, and he then throws her into the air. While in the air, she flings two kunai at the people, killing them. Naruto then blocks a tanto strike from one, and instantly knows who these people are. He yells, "Pakura-chan, it's ROOT!"

Naruto then stabs another in the chest, as Pakura lands punching one in the face. The blonde then throws his kunai, makes a Rasengan, and disappears in a Yellow Flash, and reappearing right in front of another. Naruto then shoves the Rasengan into the ROOT members face, killing them.

Pakura dodges a tanto slash, and stabs them in the stomach with a kunai. Naruto then gathers Lightning chakra into his hand, which changes to the color purple. He yells, "Raiton: Shiden (Lightning Release: Purple Electricity)!" The male Uzumaki then dashes at another ROOT members, and stabs his hand through his chest.

As Pakura kicks one Root member to the ground, Naruto throws a kunai through the person's head. Naruto then kicks another ROOT member in the chin, and yells, "Sūpākikku (Super Kick)!" As they fly into the air, Pakura sends a heat orb through their face, killing them instantly, while also mummifying them.

The one that Pakura punched, rushes at Naruto, who stabs them in the chest with his chokuto. While Pakura mummifies the final ROOT member with her heat orb. Naruto then puts all of the bodies in a storage scroll. He says, "Damn! Now we have to clean blood, and not the candle-lit ramen dinner that was planned. Wanna help clean?"

Pakura answers, "Well, Naruto-kun, for the smack on my butt, you have to clean. I'll be making some dinner to make up for the one you were going to make, okay?"

Naruto gulped, it definitely wasn't a suggestion. He thinks, "Well, it is what if get, I guess, but I do love Pakura-chan's cooking so..." The blonde then replies, "Okay, Pakura-chan, I'll clean up the blood stains!" He then gets to work cleaning the blood.

Pakura yells, "AND, IT BETTER BE SPOTLESS WHEN I GET DONE COOKING!"

Naruto makes a single hand seal, and yells, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique)!" Three Narutos appear in a puff of smoke. The four of them do get the blood out, and it is spotless. The dinner is still candle-lit, and ramen.

It is now the next day, and they report to their Senseis. Naruto sees Darui, and asks, "What's up, Dull-sensei?"

Darui answers, "Dull, but the sun."

Naruto is shocked, because his Sensei just told a joke, a bad joke, but a joke nonetheless. The blonde then asks, "So what are we doing today?"

Darui answers, "Well, you will doing missions, and some light spars against Samui's student. Anyway, I have an announcement to make..."

Naruto asks, "What is it?"

Darui answers, "The Chunin Selection Exams are coming up, and I have approved your participation. All you have to do is sign this slip, and you can take the exams. Also... Samui's student, Pakura will be your teammate for the Chunin Exams."

Naruto asks, "Where are the exams taking place?"

Darui simply answers, "Konohagakure."

Naruto quickly signs the slip, and gives it back to Darui, who says, "Keep it, we will leave in two weeks. I'd like to be there early. Now let's start with the missions."

Naruto replies, "Okay, but I'd like to talk with the Raikage first."

Darui asks, "Why?"

Naruto answers, "I was attacked by ROOT, Konoha's special ANBU Black Ops unit."

Darui asks, "Where are they?"

Naruto answers, "Dead, and in storage scrolls."

And, after a short walk to the Raikage's office later, Naruto, and Darui are standing in front of the Raikage. The Raikage asks, "What are you doing here?"

Naruto answers, "Raikage-jiji, Pakura-chan, and I were attacked last night, by ROOT, Konoha's special ANBU Black Ops unit, which is lead by Danzo Shimura, of the Shimura Clan."

The Raikage yells, "WHERE ARE THEY!?"

Naruto answers, "Dead, Raikage-jiji. Here in the scroll they are in."

He then throws the scroll at the Raikage. He catches it, and says, "Kumo will now not be participating in the Chunin Exams in Konoha!"
