Rahul's pov 

I was shocked with the sight I beheld. I never imagined that I would see Ajay like this in this situation. I knew that I couldn't do anything now except to help them kill Arjun. Although it sent a chill through my spine and pain through my heart. There was no way I could defy this. I had to do it.....even if it meant deceiving Sanjay sir and helping in killing his son. I had no choice.....I had to do this for Rhea!!! 

I gathered myself and called Prakash sir. 

Prakash : Hello!

Rahul : Sir, Naan Rahul pesuren.... 

Prakash : Sollu Rahul!

Rahul : Sir, adhu.... ippo dhaan Ajay call pannirukaaru.

Prakash : Ajay ah? Enna sonnan?!

Rahul : Sir, adhu Ajay innaiku night oru meeting ah announce pannaru la..... adhukku actual ah ippo varaikum Preetam sir uhm, Ungalayum dhaan vara sonnanga. But ippo ennakku call panni Priya mam uhm, Lakshmi mam uhm kooda varanum nu sonnaru. 

Prakash : Oh!!! Ippo en andha rendu perum? 

Rahul : Adhu..... 

Prakash : Seri, naan paathukuren. Thanks for the information. 

He said and cut the call. My heat raced as if I had just worked out. I never lied to him..... Hell!!!! I never lied anyone this huge until I got in to this freaking madness. Suddenly my phone rang giving me a jerk. I glanced at the caller ID it was Rhea. 

Rhea : Hey Rahul!!! (excitedly)

Rahul : Hello!! (sadly)

Rhea : Enna da ivlo sogama pesura? Edhavadhu prechanaya?! 

Rahul : Adhu onnum illa.... aama nee yean ivlo excited ah irukku!!!!

Rhea : Enna Rahul!!! Naalaiku ennoda 25th birthday maranthutiya??

Rahul : Adha epdi maraipen!!! Nyabagam irukku.... Naalaiku un 25th birthday! 

Rhea : Dei naalaiku en 25th birthday.... Adhu ivlo sogama energy eh illama solriye!!!!

Rahul : Romba tired ah irukken Rhea.... (sternly)

Rhea : Oh!!! (sadly) 

Rahul : Seri vidu.... Sollu, Naalaiku enga polaam?

Rhea : Adhu........ I'm throwing  a party!!! Party mudinjadhukku aprom naama rendu perum full day enjoy pannikalaam, thaniya...... 

Rahul : Nalla plan dhaan!!! 

 Rahul's MV : But idhu nadakadhu....... (with a sigh)

Rhea : And the best thing is..... Arjun ennakku oru gift kuduthaataru...... 

Rahul : Ennadhu? Enna gift adhu?! 

Rhea : Adhu naan innaiku morning leave kekuradhukku poiten, appo edhukku na 25th birthday nu sonnen..... seri afternoon solren nu sonnaru....... Afternoon lunch time la....... Ennoda leave approval nu oru file kuduthaaru..... Adhu open panni paatha!!!! 

Rahul : Paatha????!!!

Rhea : Naama rendu perum 1 year la irundhu oru apartment flat venum nu bonus ku apply pannitu irundhen la.....

Rahul : Andha bonus kuduthaana???!!!!

Rhea : Illa andha apartment flat oda keys eh kuduthaaru!!!!

Rahul : Ennadhu???!!! 

Rhea : Aama Rahul, andha flat dhaan..... Adhuvum  advance happy birthday nu oru card la..... How sweet he is!!! 

I was dumbstruck........ 

Rahul : Oru boss thannoda employee kaaga ivlo pannuvara??!!! 

Rhea : Ennakkum apdi thaan irundhuchu...... But it's Arjun ya!!!! Seri okay.... Lakshmi mam kupduraaru, bye...

Rahul : Ok bye... love you!! 

I said controlling my tears. I cut the call and shut my eyes. The flat Rhea was talking about  was our dream flat. We wanted to live our happy married life in it. It was my loveliest dream. Now, even though I got the flat. I am not happy.... Because now, whenever I see the flat.... I will be reminded of Arjun and the fact that I had a part in his death. This guilt will never leave me..... 

Later in the evening...... 

Normal POV 

It was 10:00 pm and the sky was silent..... the silence it usually depicts before a thunder storm. In middle of the silent lane stood Arjun's house, with a bit isolation. He was working on his mac book not knowing the surprise waiting for him. He was all alone in the hall. Lakshmi Amma was in the meeting and Sathish, Pranav and Susha were all sleeping upstairs. 

Outside the house, there was a van parked in distance. The D.C.P, his personal henchmen, Rohan, Sethu and his whole gang were in it. 

D.C.P : Rohan, un velaya start pannu... 

Rohan : Ok, Sir!!!! 

He said and started working on his device. After a while, "3...2...1..."he said and..... Bamm!!!!!! The lane went all dark. 

Meanwhile with Arjun 

I was working on my mac book very sincerely and seriously. Amma was out and everyone else were asleep. It was a holiday for the workers too... for an unknown reason..... well it must be the consecutive festivals. So, I am all alone and I should say this is peaceful..... 

Then, suddenly everything around went dark. What the!!!! I wouldn't be able to work like this. I went upstairs to the terrace. Our house was a bit isolated but was in a lane in one of the most richest colonies. So, power cuts are a rare thing.  The whole lane had a power cut.This seems suspicious. 

Meanwhile outside.... 

Rohan : Sir, lane full ah power cut panniten and Arjun oda veedula  CCTV..... Camera..... Alarm... edhuvume vela seiyadhu. Veedu isolated and guns ku silencers irukku so oru sound uhm yaarukkum kekkadhu! Neenga assault ah mudikalaam sir.... 

D.C.P : Hmm good work....Sethu, poya fast ah mudichitu va... 

Sethu nodded and he went in to the house along with gang....  

After half an hour.... 

D.C.P : Enna ya ivanga innum varala???!!!

One of his henchmen : Sir, naama poi check pannikalama??? 

D.C.P : Seri.... vaanga da polaam. Rohan nee ingaye wait pannu.....

All of them got down from the van except for Rohan. They went in to the house silently. The garden was dark with a pitch of light. They slowly marched to the main door. It was all dark and silent.... as they marched in to the hall. They were shocked....

Bodies of the ones who entered before were all laid on the floor. They lied in front of a brown sofa. A silhouette appeared to be seated on it.... A small ray of light revealed it to be....

The D.C.P was shocked to the core..... one of his henchmen reacted fast and attempted to shoot Arjun but Arjun was faster. He raised the gun in his hand and shot him down and quickly everyone else except for D.C.P. He shot the gun off D.C.P's hands. He threw his gun to the D.C.P.

Arjun : Un aalodadhu dhaan... 

He attempted to shoot, but Arjun smirked saying "Bullets mudinjiduchu pa!!!!"

D.C.P : Nee.... nee.... 

He couldn't speak as he was muted in shock. 

Arjun : Enna da olara.... 

He said picking up D.C.P's gun....

D.C.P : Indha.. kola... ellam..... neeya.... panna???? 

Arjun : Idhu enna!!!!! Ippo varaikum ellame pannadhum naandhaan...... inime pannaporadhum naan dhaan..... 

D.C.P widened his eyes.... 

Arjun : Enna puriyalaya!!!!! Suspense odaye saavu..... 

He said shooting him!!!!
