The Alive conspiracies

You know these: Hitler is alive; Elvis is alive; Michael Jackson is alive; Tupac Shakur is alive; etc.

I'll take the least known case first. Tupac Shakur was a rapper with the stage name of 2Pac. He was also an author, actor and poet. He apparently was involved in disputes with other rappers and producers and was ultimately shot on September 7, 1996 in Las Vegas. He was taken to the hospital but died six days later. He had a tumultuous life that involved shootings, assault, sexual assault, lawsuits, and prison.  For some strange reason, some people think that he's still alive. Suge Knight, Tupac's former label boss, claims that he knows that Tupac is still alive and in Cuba. He said that the main reason for believing this is the fact that no one has been arrested for his murder. As with most of these celebrity live conspiracies, there have been many sightings of Tupac. No one has proof that he's still alive.

Not to be outdone, Michael Jackson fans claim to have seen him alive. Reports that he's alive and living in Canada have flooded the media, and of course there are fuzzy and blurry pictures of him. The theory is that he staged his death. The main reasons that people think he's still alive is the fact that TMZ reported his death prior to the official announcement (Tabloids are doing this everyday, sometimes they get lucky). There is no evidence of trauma or disease in the image shown by ET. The ambulance that took him to UCLA didn't have its siren on. The coroner's report that Michael was bald or that the right side of his face was caved in doesn't show on the ET picture. Also, his skin appears healthy even though there were reports that he had a flesh-eating bacteria problem. The Jackson family refused an open casket service. A physician did not sign the death certificate. The main reason that people believe that he staged his death is to get out of debt, but the fact is that he really didn't have financial problems. His estate was worth 500 million and he still owned the rights to a lot of Beatles songs. The fact is that Michael Jackson was a weird individual who claimed that he would live forever. Maybe he figured that staging his death was a way of avoiding the pain of being stalked by adoring fans or it was just the cool thing to do.

The most prodigious claim of a celebrity still being alive is the reports of a living Elvis Presley. Elvis has been seen everywhere after his death. There are multiple claims of proof that he's still alive. The fact is that his estate makes more money now than when he was alive. One claim is that he's working for the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency). That's a wild idea because of the fact that he used all sorts of strange substances while he was still performing. However, some claim that he faked his death to work undercover for the government. Let's face it; Elvis is one of the most prominent pop singes of all time. He literally changed pop music in the U.S. He was a sensation in his time because he caused all sorts of reactions from the right ring religions sector. After his death, and ever since, tabloids have published stories of sightings and have even provided pictures of him, obviously aged. The only problem here is that there have been thousands of Elvis impersonators, especially in Vegas. The fact is that Elvis was so well loved people find it difficult to accept his death, especially from drug overdose. However, many celebrities have bought the farm that way. Keep in mind that he would be 80 now, so if you do sight him, he may look a lot older.

The most outrageous claim is that Hitler is still alive and living in Argentina. The story goes that the bodies that the Russians found near the Chancery were not his and Eva's, that she and Hitler went to Argentina in a U-boat and had two daughters there. Supposedly he died in Argentina at the age of 73 on February 13, 1962. Of course, the Soviets accused the U.S. of harboring Hitler, which makes no sense because it was their troops that found his body. The main problem with this idea is that there would have been a lot of people aware of this and he would have been apprehended by now. Another thing is that Hitler was suffering from numerous health issues that would have accelerated his death. This is another one of those fantasy stories that has no verifiable proof. Pictures of Hitler still alive have been faked. There's even one grainy picture that claims to prove that Hitler lived to 95 with his Brazilian lover. That's nuts!
