More conspiracy theories

These are downright disgusting:

The Treasury Department was and is responsible for controlling alcohol sales. Back in the 20's during prohibition, they allegedly tried to prevent people from drinking booze by tainting the supply that is normally used for industrial purposes with methyl alcohol.
Ethyl alcohol is what's used for booze. Methyl alcohol is poisonous and can cause blindness, kidney failure and death. Supposedly bootleggers stole industrial alcohol to illegally sell as booze. Industrial alcohol is now denatured, which means that they add small amounts of other poisons like kerosene, chloroform and methyl alcohol to it. The idea here is to discouraged its consumption. This denaturing is still used to this day. Back when I was in college, the only way that I could get pure ethyl alcohol was to have my professor sign for it. Otherwise I had to use denatured alcohol. The reason I needed pure alcohol is because of its use in chemical reactions that would be sensitive to the poisons they add to denature it.

During the prohibition era much of the booze sold in speakeasies was tainted and caused people to get sick. Shame on the government! The only reason they regulate alcohol is for the taxes. They could care less about what alcohol does to people.

The government is germ-bombing its own people. There's a certain element of truth in this one. During the cold war, both the Soviet Union and the United States were experimenting with both chemical and germ warfare. The reason I know about the chemical warfare is because I worked with a guy who was in the service and worked on chemical weapons. He told me some very scary things about what they were doing, even though it was classified. At that time we both had secret clearances, so I won't be going into the details. Although, what I am concerned about is unrelated to that. I reason I'm mentioning it is to establish that the army was interested in chemical warfare then. I have no idea what they're doing nowadays.

The idea that they would run tests over civilian areas is not unprecedented. Tests of chemical and germ weapons were done during the 1950's and everyone is aware of all the nuclear tests at the Trinity site in Nevada. People in Las Vegas used to see the mushroom clouds from those tests. Back then there was no concerns about the health effects of those tests or any of the experimental tests on civilians. It was war, baby! Sham again on the government!
I doubt that the government is doing any secret testing nowadays. There are too many watchdogs out there looking for that kind of activity. It's not that difficult to test of both chemicals and nuclear material. I also don't buy into the idea that the government is responsible for natural disasters or even disease outbreaks. These happen naturally because of the easy travel and commerce of the modern era. People that get infected in the areas where viruses are prominent and then travel to other locations where the virus isn't a problem inadvertently spread diseases like Zika. That's just the way it works.
