Missing 411

Missing 411

Thanks to @vegashoney75 for this.

I must admit that this one is puzzling. This involves an investigation by David Paulides, an investigative reporter that revealed the disappearance of 411 people in National Parks. He has published five books on this bizarre situation and his organization is CanAm Missing Project.

Apparently, there are thousands of people that go missing in National parks like Yosemite, Yellowstone, and Comanche park. Many of them are children as young as two or three that walk away from their parents and are never found, or if they are found can't tell officials what happened to them. Sometimes they're found miles away from their point of disappearance. In some cases their clothing is found neatly folded. None of this makes sense.
The other thing that's interesting is that these disappearances are in clusters. Supposedly, the National park service doesn't keep a list of people that go missing, according to David Paulides. He has to work diligently to find the cases of missing people, often interviewing police and park rangers and relatives of the missing. Paulides claims that the park service wants 1.4 million dollars for a list of all missing people in the National parks.

The other thing that's important here is that there is no evidence of large predators or sexual predators or anything that would be considered a typical reason for the disappearance. It must also be said that many missing people are located. This project 'Missing 411' involves cases where there is no reason for their disappearance.

Some of the Park locations are the habitat of bears, cougars, mountain lions and other predators. The locations also involve rugged terrain, often mountainous and rocky. In some cases the young person just wandered away and their clothing, including shoes, were found but no body.

These are very puzzling cases where the situations and conditions are not logical. It appears on the surface that there is something strange going on here. Admittedly, David Paulides has experience in law enforcement and two degrees from the University of San Francisco.

Another thing that one must consider is the fact that this David Paulides also claimed to have found DNA evidence for Big Foot. However, he does not suggest that Big Foot is the reason for these mysterious disappearances.

So where does that leave us? The answer is confused. The cases are meticulously investigated and are simply bizarre. Could there be some paranormal cause for these disappearances? That's a possibility, but it's not proven in any of the cases. It remains a mystery.

Thanks for reading.
