False Flag Conspiracies

One of the most popular conspiracy theory categories is the False Flag operation. The Wiki definition of this is: covert operations that are designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by entities, groups or nations other than those who actually planned and executed them.

This idea came from naval warfare where a ship raised a flag other than its own to fool the enemy.

The following is a list of well-known false flag conspiracies:

Pearl Harbor attack in 1941

9/11 attacks in 2001

JFK Assassination in 1963

Pan Am flight 103 bombing in 1988

Gulf of Tonkin event in 1964 that led to US
involvement in the Vietnam War.

Sandy Hook elementary school shooting in 2012

Boston Marathon bombings in 2013

Oklahoma City bombing even in 1995

Most of these were blamed on the CIA or some other secret military organization and that they were made to look as if some foreign country was involved when it was the work of the United States. This was especially the case with the 9/11 attacks and JFK assassination. I've already discussed these conspiracies, and I can easily understand why these are considered false flag conspiracies.

Where I take issue is in something like the Sandy Hook School shootings. People have suggested that Adam Lanza was not the sole perpetrator. Part of the reason for this conspiracy theory is the fact that the media revealed all sorts of false information and caused confusion about who did it and what actually happened. Conspiracy theories often emerge from false information and confusion.
I suppose it's hard for people to imagine that a crazy nut could actually do something like this. That's where they're wrong. There are lots of psychopaths and delusional people running around. Most of the time they don't act out what voices in their heads are telling them to do. However, occasionally, they do act out on impulses. The Schizophrenic delusional people are the ones that are the most dangerous because in many cases they are loners who stay out of the public radar. These people could snap at anytime and do some dastardly deed like the school shootings.

The main conspiracy about this incident is that the government was involved in an effort to force Congress to pass more restrictive gun laws. That's not going to happen, and I think that the government knows that. The other idea is that laws would be passed to keep people who are mentally disturbed from getting guns. What they government should do is provide medical care for these people. Instead, many mental hospitals and psychological care facilities have been shut down for lack of funding and the people who need help have been left on their own, many times ending homeless.

But, I diverge. I think that most so-called false flag conspiracies are hatched by psychopaths that are disgusted with their lives and are trying to get people to commiserate. True psychopaths are the people who end up as serial killers. In many cases people think that they are normal. Jeffery Daimler was like that.
