Adam and Eve conspiracy

What you say! What possible conspiracy could they make up about Adam and Eve?

Well, gang, it should have been obvious. This theory was spawned out of the creationist vs. evolution battle. The ancient alien believers said that they have the answer. Adam and Eve were super intelligent extraterrestrials that traveled to Earth in a space Ark built by Noah.

Before you bust a gut laughing, keep the following in mind: this is something that the government has allegedly kept under wraps, according to some scholars. Supposedly, there is a secret document that revels that a flying saucer crashed into Mt. Ararat in Turkey. This is the supposed location of Noah's Ark, which in this case would be the space Ark. Also keep in mind the 'panspermia' theory proposes that we evolved from a single cell organism from outer space, Mars being the most quoted origin. Now you can laugh!

Needless to say, this is not the only conspiracy theory about the quintessential Genesis story. There are plenty more and they stem from the fact that the Biblical version of the beginning of creation and man's origin is downright confusing. The idea about Adam and Eve being extraterrestrials is downright crazy.

I think that the most ridiculous idea about Adam and Eve is the so-called 'Fall'. Basically, because Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge all of us have to suffer. Their private sin led to the idea of a collective 'original sin', which the Church claims is on all our heads just because we're humans and descendants of Adam and Eve. This common condemnation of all mankind is not fair. The story in Genesis says that God punished Adam and Eve by throwing them out of paradise, which means that all of us got a collective kick in the butt out of there. Personally, I think that Eve should have smashed that conniving serpent with a rock and this whole 'fall from paradise' thing would never have happened.

Some believe that Adam and Eve were punished because they would have acquired eternal life and be more like God if they had continued to eat of the forbidden fruit. That doesn't sound logical to me. If that were the case the Tree of Knowledge was not normal. It must have had either supernatural origins or was extraterrestrial in nature. Why would God put that tree in the Garden of Eden? Was he simply torturing Adam and Eve? Did God set up Adam and Eve? Did He abandon them to Satan?

These are good questions that are not answered in the Bible, and they represent the main conspiracy theories about Adam and Eve. My take on this is that it's a mountain being made out of a mole hole. Genesis is a book filled with allegory. It's stories that are made to reveal a deeper truth. One is that God created everything, including us, and that humans acquired the ability to be evil from Satan. Other than that, the rest of it is just an interesting story.
