Sparkpaw woke up as dawn light started to seep into the den he got up to and saw Scarpaw looking up at the sun and watching it rise

He walked out of the den and sat down next to Scarpaw and looked at her beautiful light gray tabby pelt and wished for once that his dark brown pelt would touch her's she was feisty and sweet. She did not like to see other cats in pain probably because she knew what pain was this is why he liked her this is why he loved being her friend and wished they could be more than that some day he wished for her beautiful green gaze to meet his amber and he would know that she felt the same he sighed there's no way she felt the same.Was there?
