Star grunted as Velvet forced her down onto her knees. The guillotine was primed and ready to be used. Star looked out at the crowd in front of her. Dragons of all sizes came to try and recuse her but it had been a fruitless fight. Velvet walked over to the stage and grinned widely "Such a big crowd has come to see the beheading of you, Empress. Such loyalty for a dragon who doesn't understand the pain they go through. You don't deserve to be Queen, all you do is sit in your ivory tower!" "Well, it's marble..." Star mumbled and glanced over at the Black Witch, who gave her a apologetic look. "What have you done to deserve all of this!" Velvet turned sharply and stomped her foot at the small woman. Star shook her head and shrugged her shoulders "Born into royalty." She gave a small grin as she was trying to annoy Velvet before she cleared her throat to give an honest answer. "I haven't really done anything to deserve this loyalty to me. I ruled the way I did because I tried to make it easier on everyone with the new species of human that joined our planet. And I am sorry that it seemed like I sat on my throne doing nothing but behind what you couldn't see, I was constantly working with the humans in charge trying to make deals about leaving our species alone." The crowd glanced around at each other mumbling softly to one another as they listened to her speak. Velvet snorted "I don't think you understand. Some of these clans had to leave their homes because of those tiny fleshlings!" She was trying to stir up the crowd against their Queen. She knew that when she would become ruler that she would crack down even harder on the clans. "I know and I am sorry that happened to you." Star replied "Some things had to change to make peace. It is easier for us to survive in the mountains than the people..."

Back down in the prison, Mimi turned away from the brown dragon after she scooped up the young girl in her cage. The dragon had yet to notice as he was still laughing over Mimi's struggle. She began to back away and turned around. She grinned as she began down the hall. "Hey! Get back here!" He yelled and she took off as quickly as her stumbling legs would carry her. "Ypu have to hurry!" The girl cried out. "I'm trying!" Mimi grumbled through gritted teeth as she was carrying the cage in her mouth. She zigzagged through the prison, trying to figure out a way out of here when she spotted her friends "Guys!" They all froze when they heard Mimi's voice but looked around in confusion as they couldn't see her anywhere. "Mimi? Where are you?" Ralph called as he stepped forward. "Duck!" The little girl cried out and Mimi hit the floor as quick as she could. The brown dragon had jumped and flew over her, colliding with Rain in his dragon form. He growled and shoved the other dragon off of him before stomping hard onto his tail and smacking his muzzle hard with his own tail, easily knocking out the other dragon. Mimi trotted over to them "Wow, you made that look so easy Rain." "Mimi?" Jack asked the pink dragon in shock and she glanced down at him, "Yeah it's me." She set the cage down and Ralph hurried over to unlock it. "I didn't really have much of a choice so I broke the necklace." She smiled sheepishly. Jack didn't know what to say. He wanted to scold her but they really did not have time for this. "Uh..? How do I change back?" Mimi asked Rain nervously. He gave her a sigh as he check on the girl to make sure she wasn't harmed "Just focus back on your human form and you will change back." "That simple?" She questioned and he nodded before turning to the boys "Okay, we are on limit time. Obviously the execution time had been moved to be earlier than we thought. So we need to hurry." "My momma can help." The little girl giggled as she walked over to Mimi, "We can get there faster if you fly." "I don't know how to yet." She admitted and Rain stepped forward "Let's go then." Mimi focused on changing back to a person and she had her body mostly back to normal. She did have really fine scales on her body too. She ignored it as they all jumped on Rain's back as he took to the air and swiftly made his way out of the prison "Does anyone know where we are heading?" He asked. "I think they might be in the throne room." Jack replied as the other kept a look out for anything out of the ordinary. Rain pumped his wings and circled around before flying through a large open vent but he slowed to a stop at the other end. He glanced through to see all the Alphas gathered at the bottom of the execution stage, where their Queen was shackled and awaiting her death. Velvet walked up and down the stage as she continued to rant about things and Star spoke up, telling the truth on why things were the way that they were.
"We aren't too late!" Ralph exclaimed. "But what do we do? If we make an appearance, she'll kill her before we can do anything." Mimi expressed as she searched the crowd for the Black Witch. The little girl hopped off Rain's back and looked down at the stage "MOMMA!" Her tiny shriek echoed through the vent and down in the giant room, silencing everyone. Velvet glared up at her "How did you escape!?" She hurried over to Star and pulled the lever to the guillotine. The Black Witch perked up once she saw her daughter free and thrusted her wand in the direction of the Queen "ελευθερία!" There was a giant cloud of smoke that enveloped around Star, causing the crowd to gasp out as the guillotine made a heavy sound and everyone froze in fear.
Did she die? Was their Queen gone? Velvet grinned as she awaited to claim her crown.
It felt like hours as everyone stared in shock. The crowd was afraid to move a single inch. When suddenly a voice boomed and the entire room shook,
"Bow before me!" as a beam shot from the ceiling and hit exactly where Star had been sitting. As the cloud of smoke disappeared, it revealed their Queen in her dragon form. She stood up and let out a very deafening roar as she charged Velvet, who backed up a few feet "You should be dead!"
The floor turned into a blood bath as the two leaders on stage fought each other. Velvet bit into Star's shoulder as Star dug her claws into Velvet's sides, which began to heal almost immediately with the help of Liliana's power. "I won't make the same mistake as last time!" She lunged for her throat and the two tumbled to the floor. Star moved first to get out of the confusing dog pile and turned back to hit Velvet, who jumped onto Star's back; her dagger like teeth sinking into the weak spot on Star's back. Star yelled in pain and stumbled into the stage, trying to knock off the white dragon. "I am going to be Queen!" Velvet hissed through her teeth. "Not if I have anything to say about it!" Jazu growled as his tail made contact with Velvet's eyes and the she dragon whined in pain as she fell off of Star's back. Star turned to face Velvet and narrowed her eyes at the she dragon. This stupid War had been going on for far too long and the pain this female brought her was too much to bear. She grunted as she started up the stage way, trying to get away from Velvet so she could determine how to fight the healing white dragon. Velvet stood with a laugh and grabbed at Star's back, digging her claws into her body "I'm not through with you yet!" "Get off of her!" Two voices shouted from behind the two and Velvet's face was smashed into and toss aside. There stood Maddrair and Oidoas, both pushing Star back onto the stage. She limped forward "Even though I was able to transform, I can't use my magic." She turned to the two males. "We need to do something, she has the ability to heal her wounds." She winced as she glanced around trying to come up with a plan. The Black Witch raced over to them "I can reverse the spell but it takes a bit of time." "Do whatever you need to do. We will do what we can to keep her busy." Oidoas spoke up as he then jumped back down into the fight, pulling Velvet far from the stage. "Rain, take the Witch with you! Keep her safe!" Maddrair called from the ground and Rain jumped down, soaring over and picking up the Witch, "Take me back to Liliana's resting place!" He flew back up to the vent and hurried through. Mimi shifted back into her dragon form as a brown dragon tried to sped after Rain. She tackled him in mid air and they tumbled to the ground.
"Mimi!" The boys called but she got up after a few minutes and started to fight the other dragons. "You two should help!" The little girl cried out with a giggle as she grabbed their scale necklaces and jerked them from their necks, smashing them against the vent. "Why would you do that-!?" They both yelled at her. Jack stumbled backwards and let out a pained sound as his bones began to rapidly break down and change into that of a dragon structure. "Ugh, that's disgusting!" Ralph nearly threw up and turned away but let out a loud yell in pain as his body began to breakdown as well. Jack stood back up and he glanced down at himself. He was a medium sized red dragon. He blinked in surprise before glaring at the little girl, who was smiling like she was completely innocent. Ralph shook his head and looked down at himself, he was a smaller and slimmer dragon than most. His scales were a dusty tan color. He also turned his head to glare at the girl "Why would you do that!?" They asked her again. She just shrugged her shoulders "They need help." She pointed over to where more dragons were chasing after Rain and her mother. Jack rolled his eyes and began to swiftly stumble his way down the vent trying to catch up to them. He flexed his wings a little as he knew that he needed to figure out how to fly and fast. Ralph was quick to follow with the little girl on his back "What is the plan?" Jack turned his head slightly to look back at his little brother "Uh? I don't really know? Try to catch up and keep them off the Witch?" "Sounds good!' Ralph nodded as they began to run, stumbling here and there but getting the hang of their bodies a bit quicker than Mimi.

Rain landed outside of the room that the Witch led him to and she hurried to the door before looking back at him "This has to go uninterrupted or else ot won't work!" He nodded to her and she hurried into the room. Rain turned his attention to the group that had followed after him to stop the Witch. He growled but changed into his human form as the other dragons landed. "Ha, how are you going to stop us old man?" One asked, his scales where red with a yellow strip down his sides. Rain just smirked at them, "Well why don't you just kick me out of the way?" Everyone always underestimated him because of his age. One of the dragons charged forwards and went to swipe him away when Rain merely caught the dragon paw coming in his direction. They looked at him with surprise "You really should be careful who you pick fights with." He grinned as he jumped up from the ground and smashed a flying kick into the dragon's face, knocking him back a few feet. The hot rod jumped forward and chomped at the old man, who merely stepped out of the way of the incoming attack "And maybe learn to fight less predictable." He punched the hot rod in his eye, who yelped in pain and jumped back. One claw over his wounded eye. He growled in annoyance at Rain and they all charged him. Rain backed up as he was preparing how to continue this fight when two other dragons literally fell from the sky and landed on top of the group. "Quick!" Jack called as he jumped up and smashed his horned head into the side of the hot rod and Ralph jerked the other two away from Rain "Gotcha!"

Back in the execution room, Velvet was slowly making her way towards Star, who was backing herself into a corner from the White dragon. It had been so long since she fought anyone in this form that she was exhausted already. It didn't help that she was losing a lot of blood. Oidoas and Maddrair had been defeated by Velvet and now the only dragon that stood in her way from reaching her ultimate goal of killing the Queen and stealing the crown was the very annoying silver dragon. He rose his wings and shifted to the side so that it was harder for Velvet to see Star behind him. He bared his teeth at her as the two clashed into a battle. Velvet was using the magic she gained by force to strengthen her body against the much more powerful male dragon. She grinned at him as she slashed his face, blood immediately pouring out of his new wounds. He winced but didn't back down as he used his own magic to sharpen his claws as he ripped through her scales with ease "I'm going to tear you apart!" Velvet's healing ability was slowing down as she had used it a lot throughout the whole fight. She lunged for his chest with her claws as her dagger like teeth chomped through his neck scales. She stopped healing herself and focused on her strength with the magic she was using. Jazu stumbled backwards as she pushed against his body. He tripped over the fallen guillotine and crashed to the ground hard as she shredded his chest and neck.  Once he had completely fallen still she pulled back and then turned to look at Star with bloodlust in her eyes as she slowly made her way towards the Queen, "Looks like another one that you couldn't save." She chuckled at her little joke. "Jazu...!" Star cried out but the silver male didn't move from his spot. Tears came to her eyes as she glared at Velvet "WHY DO YOU TAKE THINGS FROM ME!?" "BECAUSE YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE QUEEN!" Velvet snapped back at her. Star shifted in her spot before she ran forward and tackled Velvet again. They tumbled a bit until Star had Velvet pinned down by her neck "I'm going to end you!" "You don't have the nerve!" Velvet laughed as she gripped Star's neck and began to choke the Queen. Star clawed at her sides and shoved her away before she backed up to gain some space. Velvet grinned again "Just give up, there is nothing you can do to stop me." She went to heal herself but none of her wounds began to close. She looked down at herself, confused. Star smirked "It seems that you have used up all of your borrowed magic." Velvet sneered "I don't need magic to kill you!" And charged at her. Star leaned down and shifted her position, this time she was ready for the tackled and caught Velvet by surprise, forcing her mouth open "But I do." And let out her most powerful fire attack down into Velvet's throat. The white dragon's body slowly fell limp and Star tossed her head aside before stepping onto her side and stood proudly over her fallen enemy. She let out a deafening roar with her wings spread to mark victory over the terrible Great War, which has finally come to an end. The fight down on the floor slowed to a stop as all of the dragon turned to see who had won the fight. "Bow before your Queen!" Star stated and watched as the room turned from a battlefield into cheers of victory.

"Mimi, please be careful." Chimur called from out of the barn as he watched the girl jump off the house to see how fast her body could transform from human to dragon. The Great War had ended less than a week ago and she was already up and out of bed trying to see just how far to could push herself. Rain hurried out of the house and began to yell at the girl that she needed to be resting. She taunted him as she flew around in circles "I feel great!" Jack walked away from the window, shaking his head in disbelief as he helped Ako carry warms drinks to those who were rest in the medical bay. Star glanced up from her spot next to Jazu as he was hooked up to several machines. "How is he doing?" Ako asked softly as she handed the Empress her drink. "Rain says it will be quite a while before he wakes from his coma." She sighed and then leaned back in her chair "But if it wasn't for him, I probably would have died...well...all of you actually." She gave a small smile as Oidoas hopped over on crutches "Well we couldn't have Velvet be our Queen, that would be an absolute disaster." He took a mug from Jack before Ralph hurried over and pulled his big brother out of the medical bay "I have something to show you!" He hurried into their shared bedroom and pulled his brother over to a canvas "Look." Jack looked at the painting. It was the three of them going into a portal and on the other side turning into dragons. "Wow, that's really good." Jack exclaimed as he eyed the painting. "Thanks. Hachi helped me with it." Ralph blushed lightly before he grinned "I'm glad we chose to stay here. Life seems to make a lot more sense." Jack nodded as he continued to look at the painting as Hachi pulled Ralph out of the room. Jack pondered about what had happen a few days ago. Both the Black Witch and the Empress offered to change them and take them back home where they belonged. They felt excited at first but once they had gotten back home, they realized that nobody missed them at all. No cops where called. No search parties looking for them. Nothing. So they made their way back to the old abandon house and ran back into the Black Witch, explaining that they didn't want to be trapped in a world that didn't care for them. She understood and took them back to the world of dragons. Here, they were able to completely be themselves. Even though they did end up getting a few scars.
Here those scars were easier to bare.
