Makika's POV:

"I just want out of this stupid place." Makika complained to herself. "Wait a second. Mimi can help." Makika sat down and started to meditate. She was calling her partner animal to help her escape. a small seal appeared, hopping into her cell. a dozen more appeared and Makika giggled. "Mimi, break." She turned around and the seal broke the metal that had once contained her hands. She used water to break the bars and she darted up some stairs, avoiding all people. She got about deck and pointed to the water. The seals hopped in and turned to one huge seal. The seal was pure white and the size of Appa. Iroh was watching her as the seal nuzzled her. 

"So you have a spirit animal?" He asked calmly. Makika turned to him, ready to attack. "Dont worry. the prince is below deck in his chambers. If you are to escape, now is the best time." Makika grined and curtsied. 

"Thank you Mr. Iroh." She turned and dove into the water. Mimi began to swim away when Makika was on her back. Makika sighed gently, glad every believed she was actually sent to the Southern Water Tribe out of protection. No. She was banished. She has been known to kill anyone who fights her after getting her really angry. The first time was when she killed her best friend. It was an honest accident too.

*FlashBack*

Makika laughed as Latono threw a snowball at her. she jumped out of the way and it hit the ground. The children were about 10 at the time.  Makika was building a snow fort so she could have shelter when Latono pelts her with the snowballs. She giggled and hurried up. It was a small basic fort. Latono had a fort as well. Makika made some snowballs and threw that at her friend. they were laughing and having a good time. 

Latono was boy with darker skin and black hair. His eyes were an ocean blue which were always bright, it never seemed to falter. He annoyed Makika at times but neither of them knew she was a waterbender.

 He ran up to Makika and smashed a snowball to her head and it slid into her shirt. Without knowing what she was doing, she made snow cover him. Her eyes were playful and kind but she didn't know what was about to happen. A block of ice had been in the snow and landed on Latono's head. she dug her friend out only to find him not breathing. She ran to get her father and her father was very upset at the time.

"What did you do Makika! He is dead! You killed him!" he father shouted. Makika was shocked. 

"D-dead? H-how? I didn't d-do anything. All i did was drop some snow on him." She was so confused. how has she killed her only friend. He best friend. The only one who got her and was willing to play with her.

"Yes. You are a murderer." Her father had harsh words for his young daughter. Makika stayed in her room all night crying about her lost friend. She heard his voice calling her to the place they were playing. There were a dozen or so seals hopping around. A voice in her head told her the seal would prtect her fom now on. 

"Hi Seally. I am Makika. I will call you Mimi. I wont hurt you." She had picked on up but it bounced out of her hand causing her to frown. The morphed into a large young seal. It was bigger than her and she hugged it. "You are so cute! I will love you forever."

*Flashback End*

Remembering the first death she cause was hard but without it, she would have never met Mimi. Mimi is basically her guardian/protector. She comes in times of need or when Makika is upset or lonely. Mimi is the best friend Makika has ever had.  Mimi landed on an island. Makika fell asleep on her back and was still as she fell asleep.

*Time Skip To morning!*

Makika groaned as she woke up to warm sunlight streaming on her face. She sat up and looked around. She slide off Mima and stretched. A trig cracked and Makika stiffened. A female warrior with plaint on her face. She had a green and golden outfit. In her hands were golden colored fans. She was charging at Makika.
