But finally things are settled, thanks for being patient, so are you all excited yo read the first chapter with naive Roshni Purohit meeting the rough and tough Ashikshit Raj Singhal?

Without further delay, here is the new update!

This girl is sure a Trouble!

It's been hardly a few days, and she has started working her brains on the Legend.

It's not that, I want to hide anything from her, but at the same time, I know there are few certain things about Legends that could frighten her.
As a Human, she has a set of things fixed in her mind but what she does not know is that those are just few drops of the vast ocean of our Legends. Besides, there are many complicated secrets associated with us and our enemies.

And I want to be there with her, when she finds out as I know she would not be able to handle the revelations.

But my girl is way too much of a curious cat.! I tried to divert her mind, keep her busy at the university with Manik and Aadish and other Singhal clan but she is way more determined.
And guess what, she is already working on her little expedition to unfold our History and Secrets.

Now, now do not think that I am stalking her or anything, it's just the Legend bond.!

I can sense her activities through our bond but unfortunately it is way too weak for now and also I have a feeling my mate is guarded from mind reading.

And trust me, it's just so frustrating when I can see her but can't read her!

Many times, I tried to connect with her through our mate telepathy but she seems blocked.
Well, may be I will find out about this, more later but right now I am on my way to meet Roshni, as I can smell her.

And I can tell that she is upto to something. Her elder Brother also suggested something but we could not find out much on our own.

So, time to come Face to Face with Roshni!
I hope she is not frightened with my presence.!

I was following her mesmerizing scent and I knew what was she upto!

I must say, this girl is sharp, as she knew where to find the manuscripts.

But I can't let her find out... Atleast not now... not before the Eclipse!

If she wants to know about the Legend or Me, I want her to know me by myself and not by someone else point of views!

So, I quickly reached our secret library following her scent and there I saw her.
Struggling hard to grab the Manuscripts and other Legend books.

This is it!
This is the moment, where I am feeling like I am walking on the street, naked.... Exposing too much of my heart and mind....and what resides on the inside!

May be this is the moment to let Roshni start to know about me!

Taking a silent breath, I walked up to her and as if sensing my presence, she kind of lost her balance and scooted to the end of the racks.

Guess, she is frightened again!

Without beating around the bush, I asked her -
What are you finding here?

But I did not get any answers!

Instead, this girl was looking so frightened. She was as still as a statue but I know there was a storm inside her pretty little Brain.

I walked at a nearby desk and un-cuffed my suit buttons and all this while i know she was looking at me.

She was so still that if it was not for her heavy breath, I was beginning to think that she passed out!

Am I that Intimidating to her?

I rolled my eyes, as I am aware of my good looks and she can't just be unaffected!

Can she?

No way!
But then it's Roshni we are talking about, the chaste heart!

Leaning at the desk, I spoke - If I were you, I would not have dared to ignore my questions Roshni!

H... H... How.... Do you.... K... Know my N... Name? - she stuttered

I know many more things Roshni! - I tossed my words at her

Yo... You are...t....the sa....same M...My....Mystery Man, right??? - she spoke like a scared pigeon

Her curious mind will give me a headache!
Gosh! How many questions did she has!

Letting out a breath, I walked towards her and I could see her beautiful eyes widened as if she realised my steps -

Listen hear Roshni and listen carefully!
I am not someone who likes to beat around the bush, so cut the chase and tell me what were you looking for in this prohibited area?

Are you trying to dig out some secrets or what? - I asked in a no nonsense tone, looking at her face

Her trembling body....her widened eyes....were acting like a bait to my lion.....i had to control myself from switching....She looked like a lamb caught in my pawn.

I.... I.....am just curious, ok! - she managed to whisper

About what? - I frowned

Nobody is believing me that I saw the Jungle Legend!
Not even my brothers!
But I... I... Know it was him! - she answered me hushed

So? - I raised my eye brow

You know.....i am not kidding...i...i really saw him....it was Gigantic and Fierce and his eyes were Scarlet! I know...i know it's him....he is real...Do you believe me? - she asked thinking deep

I mentally chuckled at her naive self but also was conflicted how to answer her. Since I didn't have much choice so I tried my best to act normal -
What do you mean, you saw the Legend?
You do know it's just a myth!
You were not in your senses, may be hit your head somewhere and this is all your imagination!
Sometimes our brains can be tricky!
It's all in your head Roshni!

The gulping sound of her throat caught my attention....and I didn't even realise I was way too close to her face. Both our scents and the close proximity put my beast on an edge. He wanted to shift and claim her as his....and my pupils dilated at the mere thought of her as Mine!

She suddenly whispered - Ho....How do...you know....what happened in the Jungle...???

Fuck!
She is smart!

However, My lion felt so proud of it's mate and to my bad luck, my eyes automatically changed its color....a color of appreciation and Love for its mate.

Y... You... Your eyes change color!
Last time I saw you they were dark black...now they are golden like Honey!
Do you wear contact lenses? - she asked frowning

I shook my head and closed my eyes to control my urges and then spoke - N.. No!
I mean yes, I wear contact lenses.!

Great!
I m stuttering too!
This girl is not at all healthy for my Lion!

Clearing my throat, I asked - Why do you want to find out about the Legends?
I am sure, you must have heard enough...about us!

Us? Who?? - Roshni narrowed her eyes

What?? No...no..i.....i mean them! The Legends! - I managed to speak
Besides, you should leave for your classes.
Do not over think about it!
Do you want to fail in your exams? - I asked to divert her mind

She gasped realising the time - No.. No!
I can't afford to fail!

And hey! I won't fail!
I am a very sincere student!
I will go now!

With that said, she went.
And I can't help the smile that lingered my lips. It was just so amusing that one second she was so frightened of me..... And the next....She is behaving like she knows me from before!

And I can't deny the fact, however soon it might sound that I am falling for her innocence and charms!

She is going to be the death of me, someday!

Somewhere in the Karakoram

The entire Jungle was covered in it's dark leaves!
A natural flowing lake was shining under a few penetrating Sunrays!
The silent rock hard hills.... And the tall trees around it, gave away a creepy feel.

The karakoram was gifted by mother Nature too, but alas its realities were far away from anything beautiful.

And amongst all this, a gigantic palace stood in its center.
It screamed power.... Dark and Evil powers!

And there was a particular someone, huge and well sculpted...who caressed his thick moustache and laughed evil.

He had seen something that was going to be full of entertainment for his upcoming days.

Caressing the image on his mirror, he said -

So saiyyad ko bulbul se pyaar ho raha hai!
Uff!
Aafat hai aafat!

Ab tho milna hi padega is bulbul se!

(So, the hunter is falling in love with the Nightingale!
Uff!
This is trouble!
Now, it is a must that I meet this Nightingale!)
